Ariana Biermann Sets the Record Straight on DUI Allegations: ‘I Didn’t Do It’

While Ariana Biermann is stepping into a new chapter with Next Gen NYC, she’s also confronting the lingering shadow of her past. The 23-year-old reality star recently opened up on the Casual Chaos podcast, hosted by her costar Gia Giudice, to directly address what she calls a long-standing “misconception” surrounding her 2022 arrest.

“I hate that this is all surfacing right now,” Biermann said candidly. “It’s been three years and I didn’t do it, and I was never gonna take any deal or do anything, and I denied so many of them because I was like, ‘No, I didn’t do this. I’m fighting this.’”

Back in August 2022, Biermann was arrested following a car crash. Although she was initially charged with DUI, she has consistently denied driving under the influence. “I do not [have a DUI]. It was dismissed completely,” she emphasized. “I do not have one at all.”

Court documents from May confirmed that Biermann ultimately pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects. As part of her sentence, she will serve 24 months of probation, pay more than $2,000 in fines, complete 40 hours of community service, and abstain from alcohol and drugs.

Explaining her decision to accept the plea deal, Biermann noted, “I was fighting this case. That was two years ago. Then they offered me this [deal] in August and I said, ‘You know what, I’ll take it.’ They got back to me in May like that.”

The timing of the case’s resolution came just days before the premiere of Next Gen NYC, a Bravo reality series that follows Biermann and friends—including Giudice, Riley Burruss, and Brooks Marks—as they navigate young adulthood in New York City. Despite the stress of legal proceedings and looming media attention, Ariana seems optimistic.

“I am literally gonna have a damn six-pack. No more wine,” she joked. Giudice chimed in with support, saying, “Honestly, the positive that me and Ariana both said about this: She’s gonna get in the sickest shape of her life.”

At the show’s premiere party at NYC’s Flyfish Club on June 2, Ariana stepped out in a sparkling corset and owned the moment. “I wanted to be like Kim Kardashian,” she laughed. A few days later, she expressed her gratitude on Instagram: “I feel beyond blessed to be in a position to do this and live my dream in New York City… can’t wait to share this chapter of my life with you.”

With her legal battle behind her and a new series ahead, Ariana Biermann is turning the page—and making it clear that she’s doing it on her own terms.
