Lisa Vanderpump Calls for Kindness in Bold Post Defending Cast from Online Harassment

Lisa Vanderpump, the iconic reality TV star and executive producer of hit shows like Vanderpump RulesVanderpump Villa, and The Valley, has taken to Instagram to make a heartfelt plea to her fans, urging them to stop the online bullying of her cast members. The May 4 post, directed at the passionate followers of her various shows, comes as a response to the cruelty and harassment that some of her co-stars have reportedly experienced online.

Lisa Vanderpump Calls for Kindness in Bold Post Defending Cast from Online Harassment

In the post, Lisa Vanderpump shared her gratitude for the support she receives but made a powerful statement against online abuse, saying:

“To all of our wonderful fans: I’m so grateful for your passion and support for my shows. But I must say this—no one deserves to be bullied, harassed, or targeted online. The cast members are human beings, with real feelings, doing their best in a high-pressure environment. Healthy conversation is welcomed, but cruelty is not. Let’s uplift, not tear down. Kindness always wins. #StopCyberBullying.”

The plea from the Vanderpump Rules queen bee, who is known for her commanding presence both on and off-screen, highlights the toll that cyberbullying can take on individuals in the public eye. Vanderpump’s words resonated with her fans, who flooded the comments section with supportive messages, though many were left speculating about which cast members might be the targets of this online negativity.

One fan asked, “I love that LVP wrote this but what did I miss? Who is being bullied?” Another responded, speculating that Scheana Shay, a former co-star, could be the one Vanderpump was referring to, citing recent public tensions between the two. Some even mentioned Stassi Schroeder, another former cast member, or even Jax Taylor, who made headlines recently for entering rehab on The Valley. Vanderpump’s decision not to name names has left fans guessing, but her message of kindness and understanding is clear.

The timing of Vanderpump’s post is significant, especially given the recent tension between her and some of her former co-stars. In a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Vanderpump was asked about Scheana Shay’s upcoming memoir, My Good Side, and her claims that Vanderpump only reaches out to her when she needs something. Vanderpump, known for her quick wit, responded with a lighthearted quip:

Lisa Vanderpump

“Oh, good Lord. Well, that’s probably just to sell the book because she hasn’t got anything else to say. Do you know what? I don’t know, I’ve heard she’s said some nasty things. Something nasty recently, she said something like, I only call her when I need something…I’ve got 600 people that work with me. I think the last time I needed her was when I invited her to my house to [my grandson] Teddy’s birthday. So yes, that’s when I called her.”

When Lisa Vanderpump was asked about her relationship with Kristen Doute, a star from The Valley, she responded, “You know that’s a trigger for me!” and went on to share a rare moment of diplomatic grace, acknowledging Doute’s pregnancy. “She’s pregnant, I have to be nice and kind. Let me think for a minute. We’re going to try really hard here… no, when Kristen Doute is the voice of reason, we’re in an interesting place.”

The post on May 4 signals Vanderpump’s continued advocacy for a healthier online space, reminding fans that while they may feel a strong connection to the drama of reality TV, the cast members are real people with real emotions.

I read somewhere that P.R. firms are retained to smear celebrities. The firms hire trolls who post negative comments about the celebrity and attack any positive comments made by those who like the celebrity. They said that you know when this is happening if the comments are really vile and the person posts an excessive number of vile comments and also attacks within minutes of a positive comment being posted. Interesting article.

I've seen this happen on sites. Interesting article.

Vanderpump added "if you do need to harass people, get someone else to do it for you, so your hands are clean and you appear innocent". Honestly, this woman is unbelievable.

My guess is she's referring to KFC jugs being called out on her morbid obesity. "Let him who is without sin among you cast the first stone". https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTg5OGZmOWM5eHJ0eGZwM21ma2xwb2tyaGFpc2lxanI1ZTFkNjZhNjJqanQxZmg2bCZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/H7a0YdHgI0DEVQzfyA/giphy-downsized-small.mp4
