Jennifer Aydin Talks Unexpected Encounter with Margaret Josephs and Reveals RHONJ Isn’t Fun Anymore

In a candid moment, Jennifer Aydin shared details about an unexpected encounter with Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Margaret Josephs at a Gucci outlet. The interaction, which started off as somewhat tense, took a surprising turn as the two women navigated their ongoing dynamics.

“I saw her at the Gucci outlet,” Aydin recalled to US. “We were ignoring each other at first. My kids were like, ‘Margaret’s here with Lexi.’ And I was there with my sister-in-law, Bill’s brother’s wife, and my four nieces and nephew, and I was treating them to a shopping spree at Gucci.” The casual setting of the store made it difficult to ignore one another for long, especially when both women found themselves in close proximity.

Jennifer Aydin continued, “We had to get to the men’s department where Margaret and Lexi were in line. I had to pass them and I’m like, ‘This is ridiculous. I can’t say, ‘Hello?’ It’s New Year’s. So, I passed her, and I said ‘hello.’” Despite any prior tension between the two, Aydin made the first move toward breaking the ice by acknowledging Josephs with a simple greeting.

As the conversation unfolded, Jennifer Aydin introduced Margaret to her sister-in-law, and the two women began chatting. “She was very sweet, and so was Lexi,” Aydin shared. It was a moment of civility, as Aydin emphasized the importance of maintaining cordiality, even in awkward or strained circumstances. “I believe in being cordial for the moment,” she added.

The discussion took an unexpected turn when Josephs brought up the topic of their careers on RHONJ. “She was saying something like, ‘I don’t think we have a job, by the way. I don’t think any of us have a job.’” Aydin reflected on the comment, admitting that the situation surrounding their roles on the show had become “so toxic” that it was difficult to figure out what was next. “Whatever it is, it is,” she said. Despite the uncertainty, Aydin maintained a respectful perspective. “I respect Bravo, and I respect that they know what they’re doing. They’ve been in this business for a long time…If they feel like we need to regroup, more power to you.”

When asked about her own role on RHONJ, Aydin clarified that she initially joined the show for fun, using it as a “platform.” However, she admitted that the experience had not quite turned out as she had hoped. “It seems like it’s not really going in that direction,” she confessed.
