Sutton Stracke Weighs in on Kyle Richards’ Bond with PK Kemsley

Sutton Stracke defends Kathy Hilton's behavior after RHOBH reunion as she suffered health scare.

In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, hosted by Andy Cohen featuring Jeremiah Brent of Netflix’s Queer Eye and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke, the two took a deep dive into some of the juicier moments of RHOBH. During the show, fans weighed in on Sutton’s tense exchange with Dorit Kemsley, with the majority expressing support for Sutton’s perspective. But it was an offhand comment about Kyle Richards’ relationship with Dorit’s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, that sparked the most conversation.

Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke

Andy Cohen, always a master at stirring the pot, seized the moment to ask Sutton Stracke how surprised she was by the news that Kyle Richards had been keeping in touch with PK during his recent separation from Dorit. Sutton Stracke’s response was measured but revealing, as she seemed genuinely curious about the boundaries of friendship in this context.

Sutton Stracke began by defending Kyle, explaining, “Well, they are friends. I was wondering about this — what’s the line? When do you stop talking to your friends who are going through a separation from their husband?” Sutton’s stance seemed to suggest that supporting a friend during a difficult time—such as a marital split—was a natural thing to do. After all, Kyle has known the Kemsleys for years and is quite close to both of them.

As the discussion unfolded, Jeremiah Brent, who joined Sutton on the show, chimed in with a more direct perspective. He didn’t seem to have the same reservations about what might be considered acceptable in terms of friendships between separated spouses. “Right away,” he said, implying that once a couple is separated, the lines are much clearer.

Jeremiah’s blunt reaction likely spoke to the general skepticism surrounding situations where one partner in a marriage continues to communicate with the other—especially when emotional baggage is involved. In reality TV circles, especially on Real Housewives, relationships often come with an added layer of drama, leaving fans to wonder about the true nature of these friendships and interactions.

Do you agree with Jeremiah?

Kyle is going to do what brings her the most attention and camera time. If she showed support for Dorit, there would be little controversy. But carrying on with PK and talking about it in front of Dorit and all the HW's gets Kyle what she craves most -- which is not friendship as she may claim. As long as the camera is on her and she is being talked about, Kyle will throw anyone under the bus, as we have seen with her husband, her sisters, LVP and so many others over the years.

Oh please, vindictive Kyle is only doing this to get at Dorit. Breaks every girl code there is.
