A new report claims that the RHONJ cast has been left “dumbfounded” after a “violent” scene was reportedly cut from the season 14 finale episode.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast gathered on Monday, July 15, at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, N.J., to film the watch party-style reunion.
During the special, the Garden State Real Housewives cast watched the dramatic final episode of the season play out on a “big screen.” Then, they provided “commentary” on everything that went down.
Melissa Gorga was in one room with co-stars Jen Fessler, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, and Danielle Cabral. Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice was joined by Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, and Jackie Goldschneider in another room.
The RHONJ season 14 watch party reunion alternative will air on Sunday, August 11.
However, an insider now claims that the RHONJ season 14 watch party-style reunion has become controversial due to footage allegedly being cut from the finale episode.
“As you guys know, Danielle threw a glass pitcher at Jennifer,” a source alleged to OK! Magazine on July 29. “[But] for some reason, the action of Danielle actually throwing the glass pitcher at Jen was cut. You still see glass on the floor, and there’s obviously a ton of tension in the room, but the scene doesn’t make complete sense, as no one completely understands what caused it to be there.”
“The cast was dumbfounded when they were brought together to see the finale at Rails and discuss it,” the source continued. “None of them understood why this scene would have been cut. It was a completely violent, insane outburst, and fans should truly get to see it in order to fully grasp the severity of the situation and what happened.”
According to the source, no one in the RHONJ cast knows why the scene was allegedly cut. However, some believe the scene was scrapped due to legal reasons and to protect Danielle, who had already gotten into a physical altercation with Jennifer earlier in the season.
It seems that producers may want to protect Danielle in order to bring her back for season 15 of RHONJ.
Sources also claim that the RHONJ cast is in the dark when it comes to season 15.
“So much is up in the air as to who, if anyone, will stay. So, some people are surmising it’s possible they wanted to not make Danielle look as bad for the audience in case they decide to bring her back. She is on the younger end, so it’s totally plausible they could be trying to build a cast around her. Danielle does have an issue with Teresa at this point. And whatever ends up happening with the show… many don’t feel there is a show without Teresa. So, ultimately, if they keep anyone, it probably will end up being her and one or two others,” the source explained.
“She’s been with the show since [its] inception. And when you think RHONJ, you don’t immediately think Teresa. It truly is her show,” the insider added.

This is the writing on the wall for me that Bravo is keeping Danielle. Why else cut that out? If they wanted her gone, showing it makes the perfect exit. Seems like Margie’s producers have won and she and her minions will be the ones to stay. Good luck to them all.
Why protect Danielle?! It doesn't make sense. If the reason is so Bravo can bring her back if there is another season, many of us will not be tuning in. Danielle is prone to violent outbursts not to mention her grifter status when it comes to those she hires and disrespects. The cast is not the only part of the franchise that needs a shake up, the producers needs to be replaced because they added to the toxic, sh*tshow this season. The producers have no issue manipulating filming to put Teresa and Jennifer Aydin in a bad light while protecting Fuda, Danielle, Gorga's and Marge. This group is the most overrated, toxic individuals who in no way can carry a season.
I am Team Melissa, Danielle, Rachel, Marge, Jenn F & Dolores. Keep these ladies and 2 newbies next season.
There are posts on Reddit (I know, not the most reliable source) about what went down between Jen and Danielle. If true, what Jen said is so vile it could end up with her being sued. I won't repeat it here, it's that noxious. But the code that kids and husbands are off limits was broken. Jen is dirty.
OMG, if they cut that part out just to protect Danielle, that is a double standard. Danielle straight up threw a glass pitcher at Jen Aydin. Bravolover1234 is potentially getting pink slipped because of her husband's violent past, but they want to protect Danielle, a main cast member who has instigated physical violence TWICE ON CAMERA in one season? I don't care for either of them, but that double standard is BULLSHIT.

@sswipe Cohen has been teasing the viewers about an "extraordinarily violent" finale for months, and then they cut out the alleged violence? Bravo should be fining HIS ass for telling tales out of school … and then fire him, because as EP, he (and the production co's) become the problem with the series.

Holy I’m sorry to ask this on here but I’ve been misting Sept 23 forever – what happened to her ??? I wasn’t posting for a-bit and would just drop a comment a few times -she was here but haven’t “ seen” her in awhile . Just wondering ! I miss her one liners !!!

This shouldn't be surprising to anyone. Footage gets cut all the time on all the housewives shows plus word from inside Bravo is that one of the scenarios that is being bandied about is that if the show returns at all it will return with a younger cast built around Danielle and Rachel, sort of a next gen scenario. It makes perfect sense from a business perspective. Most of the cast is either close to 50 or over 50 so if you want to attract a younger audience of people in their 20s and 30s you need younger cast members. I know that the stumps here have turned on Danielle (even though they couldn't get enough of her last season when she was in Teresa's back pocket) but the audience clearly loves her and Rachel's appearance on WWHL had the highest ratings of any appearance this season by all of the cast members. They're both young mothers with young kids so rebooting the show around them adding other young mothers would create a whole new show with a younger target audience. Just an observation.
I thought at first I would like Danielle – Teresa had zero to do with that . I liked that when the mean girl squad constantly fought with her, brought up her family issues and made her cry , Teresa was the only genuine one to her . This was a season of switch ups . I didn’t like Jackie her first season because she came in targeting Teresa to get up Mel’s ass after being proven a Teresa fangirl at book signings lol . I don’t love her but if her and T were able to find a way to forgive and move forwarded genuinely – I do like that . Danielle is no one’s friend .
I remember Danielle from that mtv show, something like I want I want to be famous, or whatever it was called. She was loud obnoxious, just a goof ?????. When I heard she was gong to be in jersey, I was like ugh!
I will say though there were times her first season that I felt bad for her. They made her cry. I still don’t like her.
Jackie at first I was like she’s very arrogant. But i do think she has a good heart.

Yes it is and disgusting . Not once but twice she attacked same person. This time it really was glass and it was reported months back there was blood … if they chose to “ protect” someone like that – they need fired . The cast mates such as Melissa can all F off as well for praising her for all of this . These same twats and their rabid fans were up in arms over a damn pigtail tug from Staub. They are all pathetic -IMO.

I agree with you, except for the “ ponytail tug”. That Strega pulled Margaret’s ponytail hard , pulled her head all the way back , it was terrible. I was disgusting !
