Get all the details on why the RHONJ cameras didn’t capture Gabriella Giudice‘s move to the University of Michigan for season 14.
If you know anything about Teresa Giudice’s daughters, you know her second oldest daughter, Gabriella Giudice, is the most private of the bunch. The 19-year-old almost never speaks or appears on RHONJ – instead, she chooses to keep her life private and away from the cameras as much as she can despite her family being in the public eye.
Since season 14 of RHONJ premiered earlier this month, fans have been watching Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga prepare their daughters for their freshman years at college. While on this week’s episode of RHONJ, fans saw Melissa and Joe Gorga move their daughter Antonia Gorga into her dorm at the Univeristy of Delaware, they didn’t see Teresa move Gabriella from New Jersey to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Many longtime fans, who have watched Teresa’s daughters grow up on the show, were bummed that they missed out on witnessing this milestone event in Gabriella’s life play out on the show.
AllAboutTRH can now share exclusive details about why Gabriella’s move to college was left out of the latest episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Sources close to production tell AllAboutTRH that unlike her cousin, Antonia Gorga, Gabriella declined Bravo‘s offer to film her move to the University of Michigan.

Gabriella wanted her move to be “more intimate” as she began this “new chapter in her life.” The now 19-year-old also did not want “attention being drawn to her” during the move-in process, and she knew having the RHONJ cameras around would do just that.
Despite fans not getting to see Gabriella move into her dorm and settle into life at the University of Michigan, they still got a good amount of footage of the Giudice/Ruelas family celebrating her next chapter in life on the show.
While Gabriella continues to keep much of her life private—on and off of RHONJ—she does seem to be enjoying life at the University of Michigan. Not only has Gabby made loads of friends throughout her first year of college, but she has also joined the Tri Delta sorority. Her sisters, Gia Giudice and Milania Giudice, have also visited her numerous times throughout the year.
RHONJ airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.

She was always the smartest one.
When this show very first started, I swore she was the milkman's child. 🙂 Now, as they have gotten older, now, as they have gotten older, they all look so much alike. Her daughters are stunning. I hope they don't ruin themselves with surgeries, etc.
I think some colleges charge for filming -did anyone look into this ?
Personally, I’d be happy to never see any of the kids in the shows.
Fellow Tri Delta! That is so awesome! I was at another Big Ten School for my Undergraduate degree, a million years ago, but coming out-of-state that is such a great way to make great friends and have a Safe support system quickly. My Delta sisters are still my friends today, and were great business contacts too throughout my career. Michigan was always a top rival because all their programs are amazing from sports to arts.
Except their football team, ugh!!?
Michigan is a great school, but not better than
The Ohio State University.?
????????-, all day everyday!!
Sorry Holy I’m a Michigan alum and no one is better than the Wolverines!! Though its been ages since I graduated from there move in is such a crazy day with members from Greek life helping everyone move in and having activities scheduled that first night for floor mates to meet, have dinner and play games. So having the cameras there would’ve inconvenienced everyone else. I think Gabrielle really thinks about others and the impact it would have on those around her. So good for her for standing her ground.
Sorry not sorry Watcher?? – Buckeyes all day everyday!
????????.
Michigan is a beautiful state. And Like I said , Michigan is a great school, But Not Better Than The Ohio State University!!
. It’s their football team -boo!! I can’t stand TTUN!!?
I do agree about Gabriella.
Ha ha!
tri delts are the most popular at every college
Congratulations again to Gabriella. I think she’s going to do very well in life. I have to say again that given what this family has been through and on camera, it really is an achievement to have all four girls turn out so well. No drugs, no scandals. Just really well adjusted young adults. I wouldn’t have thought it was possible. Also, the Gorga children seem really well adjusted too. They didn’t go through what their cousins had to endure which is why I’m always astounded that Tre’s children are so grounded but the Gorga children deserve credit too as do their parents. ??
Agree , the Gorga and Guidice kids really seem like great kids .
All of them have literally lived in front of the cameras for their entire lives, but they are surprisingly unaffected (at least from what we’ve seen).
I agree.
Yes, the drop out rate the first year of college is higher right now than in past years. Young adults on their own in the world are just having a harder time making the adjustment. But here Both ladies just completed their first year of college, and that is the hardest adjustment and a great indicator for success!! They are on their ways to degrees. While you don’t need a college degree, it does increase your life-time earnings when you work.
I think it’s because this generation lost valuable school time due to Covid lock downs. Unfortunately, not every student was able to meaningfully learn in a remote environment.
Very true! That had such an effect in so many ways.
