Margaret Josephs hits that Teresa Giudice should be fired from RHONJ and also calls former bestie Jackie Goldschneider an “ingrate.” Find out what else Marge has to say!
Longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs recently chatted with Access Hollywood about season 14 and the ongoing rift between the cast.
During the interview, Margaret insinuated that RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice should be fired from the series. She went on to say that there are such “deep bonds” between her, Melissa Gorga, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, and Dolores Catania that they could continue the show with Teresa.
“I think if someone’s husband is just so wealthy and preaches it all the time. I don’t know why his wife is showing up in subway shops slinging baloney. So maybe it’s time for her to go, you know, I don’t know. That’s all I have to say,” Margaret said.
“I don't think [RHONJ] could continue the way it is. But I think, you know, there are deep bonds with many of us that can continue. I think there's just, you know, a few people who just dig their heels in, and do horrible things, which is sad, which is unfortunate. But I think certain people cross certain boundaries that, you know, I can't come back from, Melissa can't come back from, Rachel can't come back.”
The 57-year-old RHONJ star then went on to say that Teresa is not the nice person she used to be and isn’t someone she would want to know. Marge also alleges that Teresa was “obsessing” over her while filming season 14 of RHONJ.
“You know, what I’m hearing is the girls would always tell me that she was obsessing over me, she’s gonna drop some bomb, she’s gonna I mean, she so obsessed with me, I could care less about her. Truthfully, I don’t care about her life, I don’t care about her and Louie. Like if people ask me a question I’ll respond on it.”
“But the truth is, to me, she’s a nonentity. She’s a she’s someone I would never wanna know. I really I do feel that way now. She is not the person I met, and maybe this was the real her role along.”
“She means nothing in my life. She really means nothing in my life. I wouldn’t even know a person like Teresa Giudice. The person that she is now, When I first met her, she had just come out of jail. She was humble, sweet, and kind. Um, the person she is today, I would never wanna know.”
As for Jackie Goldschneider, Margaret calls her former bestie an “ingrate” for not giving her advanced copy of her memoir, The Weight of Beautiful.
According to Marge, she is the one who championed Jackie to write her book and introduced her to all the right people in order for the book deal to happen, which is why she was baffled when Jackie never sent her a copy of the book ahead of its release.
Margaret explains:
“Melissa [Gorga] had gotten her book, Jen Fessler, had read the book, Anthony, who helped her get the book deal who I introduced her to or she would not be working with, got to read the book.
I had given her my entire press list, um, for her to send the people the book. She needed the press list. I didn’t get an advanced copy at that point. I purchased it, the advanced copy on Amazon. I’m gonna support her. I’m gonna give give her book.
I thought it was weird and I felt like she was trying to stick it to me. So I was hurt, you know, I was just hurt. So we when I brought it up to her she was like, ‘we’re not that close, you’re entitled, how dare you think you should get the book, um, you know, Melissa’s the press,’ like, you know, Melissa was like the New York Times the way she I was like okay.
It was just very bizarre, her reaction. She could have just said I’m so sorry I’ll send you the book, but instead she was like you didn’t help me.
By the way, everybody’s a team. I am nothing without everybody who is stuck by me. I have the most amazing team. I could do nothing without them, and I’m very grateful. I’m very grateful for the, you know, my girls around me. She is an ingrate
And, I’m not saying I’m taking the credit for a book, it’s nothing like that. The girl is the most talented writer. I wanna put that out there. She’s so super talented. But no one does anything on their own without the people who champion you.”
