Lisa Rinna declares that she will “never” return to RHOBH a year plus after exiting the franchise.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna recently appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where she was asked if she would ever return to the hit Bravo show.
“No. Never. No, I wouldn’t,” Lisa Rinna said. “But listen, I [am] grateful for the experience. I think that it has made me a better actor because I’m acting again.”
Upon Lisa Rinna’s response, an audience member snickered because that audience member knows, as every Bravo fan does, that Rinna is thirsty and loves the attention and spotlight Real Housewives brings.

The RHOBH alum fired back: ‘I’m not kidding! You laugh, but it’s true. I think it made made me a better actor, working with those women [and] going through that experience.”
“I just did a movie called Mommy Meanest, which I trained for for eight years on that show. I definitely did, and I had a lot to pull from,” she noted.
“I have a lot to pull from after working for eight years on that show. You know, different psychologies of different women. I never would have come across that if I hadn’t done that show. I am grateful for that show. I’m the person I am today because of it, but I’ll never go back. Did it, done it, saw the movie.”
Back in November 2023, Lisa Rinna insisted that she doesn’t miss being on RHOBH and the drama that comes with it.
The 60-year-old told Access Hollywood: “I don’t miss it. Not at all. Not for a second. I miss some of them, you know.”
“I am like, praise Jesus. I am so thrilled,” Rinna said of not having to deal with the drama any longer.

In January 2023, Lisa Rinna announced her exit from RHOBH after eight seasons on the show. The former soap star joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2014 during season 5. She remained a full-time cast member on the show until her exit following season 12.
Rinna infamously emailed her resignation to her Bravo bosses, including Andy Cohen, in September 2022 following the season 12 reunion.

Since then, Andy has publicly said that he hopes Rinna’s exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was just a pause and that she would come back to the show in the future. Yet, that doesn’t seem likely right now.
However, I think if Bravo offered Rinna the right amount of money, she’d come back to the show in a heartbeat – she is a hustler, after all, and infamously says “no” to very little.

RHOBH is expected to return to Bravo in late 2024 or early 2025.

good to hear
Acting like the evil character comes naturally for Rinna because she is dirty. Mommie Meanest suits her. One day one or both daughters will be calling her that in their book.
She thinks it’s funny Harry has to remove the dead rats from their stove to make his famous rat chili. She is a filthy pig
There was a long time that I only watched BH from time to time and I must have missed that one. Did that really happen?
Yes, it’s been a while I had to check the episode aired Dec 2017 or Jan 2018.
OMG that’s unbelievable.
Nah, she dirty. Keeps her clothes in the garage and probably crawls into bed with filthy feet. Nasty woman
At this point the only job you can get is in a parking lot carnival… featuring Lisa the Hideous Lipped Zipper!
I don’t even watch RHOBH anymore and haven’t for years thanks to Rinna. Got tired of her viciousness. Its just another city that’s gone down the drain and needs to go away permanently. Its just a group of mean girls. I miss when the shows were all decent woman who wanted to have fun together.
The closest I’ve seen (what you said) is watching Seasons 1-6 of RHNY recently for the first time. Some get annoyingly nasty (briefly) but it isn’t so obviously contrived like now plus they do normal fun stuff. They kept bringing in new people, too.
They’ve expired by keeping the old ones who try to get rid of new people who are more likeable (NJ and BH) in my opinion.
I’ve watched the HWs since day one with Orange County. I don’t know if you remember the reunion for season one of OC but it really was all about these ladies, their California lives and their every day lives. I loved it.
That was a VERY different show. Women who were actually friends dealing with normal issues for suburban families.
I’ve watched HW’s since day one of OC also. Its really pathetic how bad these shows have gotten. Its gone from good shows to have as a guilt pleasure to scrapping the bottom of the tv show barrel. Its like they decided to fill these shows with every woman they could find with the emotional IQ of a teenage girl.
Good. I can’t stomach the viciousness of Rinna. She’s so “angry” all the time.
She contaminated that show which is already vicious. I may stand alone in this, but I was horrified by how she treated Kim who is obviously struggling with mental health issues. It was appalling. There is something wrong with Rinna. The scene where she was sitting on the couch and Denise was telling Rinna that she could have been a better friend was telling. Rinna teared up and said that something was wrong with her. That she feels so angry all the time. By the next day she was back to the her usual vicious self. Bravo, do not bring her back. Even EJ is nicer without her around.
I loved Rinna at the beginning. She was funny, quick witted and seemed generally fun, but she changed. I will stand by the whole incident with Munchausen syndrome. To me, it was that moment with LVP and Kyle and realizing how set up she became and from then on she became vindictive.
With regards to Kim, the first time round I thought it was Kim who was attacking Rinna, noted in Amsterdam. And then anytime Kim was back, Rinna was mean and foul.
How she treated Denise was downright dirty and I hope for herself, she never returns.
You need to be a special kind of creature to be on a scripted ‘reality’ show that’s sole purpose seems to out another. I miss the good old, pre-glam days.
One by one, I’ve stopped watching specific cities.
So true. I miss the old vibe too.
She went too far with acting out her reality of just being nasty and cut throat.
I can’t believe recognizing her was how I started watching any HW show. (Mistake!)
????
Is this the same Rinna who claimed many times on air that she never says no if there is money involved?
Of course she’d come back if the money was right. But she was the one who priced herself out of the show. She wanted an exorbitant amount and Bravo said she wasn’t worth it. Had her hubris not been so extreme, she’d still be there.
One of the few times Bravo is right.
Oh, I think she would for any amount. I bet she’d gladly go back to “Depends” commercials, too, since they paid so much but I guess now her reputation is too dirty for diapers!
guess HSN or QVC was lying when they told her Harry would never have to work again. She’s playing the four line, nosey neighbor parts on Lifetime channel, the jobs even Teddie declines.
Oh bullsh*t! Bish would sell a kidney to return. She just knows she won’t be ASKED to return any time soon. And tbh that should be no skin off her nose because the entire genre has been circling the drain for years and is microseconds away (and I’m being kind here) from being nothing more than the turd that won’t flush <— (*coughRHONYrebootcough*) ?
You may just be right.
Agree. I think and sort of hope the only two I watched (not counting SLC because it will be easy to quit) will be canceled within a year. I thought all along if RHNY was successful, it would/should happen with NJ but I don’t think the NY reboot was successful enough. ? (I’m on Season 7 of the original NY, mostly for the first time, and it is far better than NJ ever was and BH. NJ was always the trashiest and I think that was the intent.)
A big part of why NJ was so trashy has to do with Teresa. She’s always been the worst. She’s ruined RHONJ with her toxic behavior.
I totally agree. I started watching it part way through like the others. Last year I watched all the beginning seasons I’d never seen and realized that is why it was so trashy. I think when I started, Danielle Staub was on and she was quite evil. It seems to me they cast the shows based on the stereotype of the city or state.
