Dolores Catania reveals season 14 of RHONJ was “rough” and ends with a fiery dinner party where “two bombs” were dropped.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania reveals that fans can expect a finale like never before when season 14 of the show airs in 2024.
“There’s a big bomb at the finale…and you would never know what it would be,” the RHONJ star told Page Six at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas on Friday.
Dolores notes that she believes the RHONJ season 14 finale is “bigger” than the shocking season 13 conclusion between Joe Gorga and Louie Ruelas, who almost got into a physical altercation.
“There’s two bombs at the finale,” the RHONJ star teased, noting that she refers to the dinner as “the Last Supper.”
When asked which of her RHONJ co-stars were Jesus and which were Judas, Dolores quipped that one co-star did actually call the other Judas during the dinner.
“Oh, you’re gonna see. And that word, Judas …” she teased before stopping herself. “I think I’m saying too much.”
While Dolores didn’t reveal which of her RHONJ co-stars were at war, several of her co-stars have admitted to shifting friendship dynamics throughout season 14.
“It was a very rough season for all of us. [It] made good TV. Oh, if it made anything, it made good TV,” Dolores said.
Dolores also confirmed that Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga‘s decision not to speak throughout filming for season 14 of RHONJ made the season “easier” to film.
At BravoCon, Teresa shut down the possibility of reconciling with Melissa and Joe Gorga anytime soon.
“First of all, I’m living this journey, and I’m all about family and respect and trust,” she said during the RHONJ panel on Sunday. “Sorry. That chapter’s closed with my brother, unfortunately. It really is.”
Melissa echoed similar sentiments during part one of the RHONJ panel on Saturday: “It’s very different from last season… because there’s not a lot of communication, so I think it’s different and better.”
“I think the fans will feel refreshed as well. I mean, weren’t you sick of it?” the 44-year-old asked the crowd. “It’s so much to describe right now, but I think everyone knows where we’re at. Everyone’s reading it. I think it’s, like I said, we’re at a place of peace. I think everyone needs a minute. Everyone needs a break, and there’s a period on it right now.”
Meanwhile, Teresa also blamed Melissa for spreading the rumor that her husband, Louie Ruelas, tried to pursue Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola romantically before he met the RHONJ OG.
“My sister-in-law put it out there,” Teresa told Page Six on Friday. “She’s the one that started it.”
Alexia recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she shut down claims that Louie ever tried to date her when they met various times in Europe.
RHONJ will return to Bravo for season 14 in 2024.
