It’s no secret that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s divorce was fueled by their ongoing money troubles.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, Kim and Kroy are divorcing after 11 years of marriage due to much-discussed financial woes. Multiple outlets have confirmed that Kim and Kroy’s money issues played a very large role in their split. Kim and Kroy owe $1.1M in back taxes to the IRS, according to TMZ. Rumors are also swirling that Kim and Kroy’s $2.6M Alpharetta, GA mansion is in foreclosure after they defaulted on a $1.65M loan.
Now, we are taking a deep dive into the Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s outlandish spending habits.
Kim loves to spend money. Any longtime Bravo fan knows this statement to be true. Over the years, Kim has never held back regarding her penchant to spend money – whether it be hers, Kroys, or Big Poppa (Kim’s notorious former Sugar Daddy).
Gambling Habits and Kim Zolciak
The former Don’t Be Tardy star has boasted on screen about losing $250k gambling in the Bahamas and spending thousands of dollars at a time on lottery scratch-offs.
Before buying $1200 worth of scratch-offs, Kim bragged about her gambling habits in a 2014 confessional interview on Don’t Be Tardy:
“I love to gamble, but there’s no casino here in Georgia, so the only way to get my thrill is to buy scratch-offs. I play big to win big.”
She then confessed:
“I took a really big hit in the Bahamas last time I went … like [a] quarter of a million dollars. A lot of money. Yeah, crazy, and I never went back.”
Then in 2019, Kim also allegedly gambled away $30k during a trip to Las Vegas.
Shopping Sprees
If all of Kim’s gambling habits weren’t enough, she also likes to shop til she drops when it comes to furniture, luxury cars, and designer goods, including clothes, bags, shoes, and more.
The 44-year-old infamously spent $1 million on her and Kroy’s wedding. That price tag included the cost of Kim’s three wedding gowns. One gown cost $58,000, while another sold for $18,000. Kim finished off her night in a $16,000 white jumpsuit.
Kim also spent $35,000 on a sofa from RH Modern. However, Kim’s shopping sprees aren’t just applied to interior design. She also loves to shop for designer goods, including Chanel and YSL.
“Chanel is like an addiction for me,” Kim confessed before admitting that she recently spent $10k on YSL boots.
Cars
Kim has never been shy about her love for a luxury automobile. Over the years, she has amassed quite a large collection of vehicles and frequently flaunts them on social media.
It’s unclear how many cars Kim and Kroy still own, but in the last year or so, Kim has been spotted driving a Mercedes G-Class, which starts at $140k. She’s also been seen driving a Bentley GT convertible and Rolls Royce Cullinan. For reference, the Bentley goes for $240k, while the starting price for a Rolls Royce is $300k.
Kim’s Closet
The reality TV alum is now hawking a ton of her designer bags and clothes online. Kim is selling several “never worn” items, including a $12,000 Chanel acrylic suitcase bag, a $7,500 Chanel tote, a $6,750 brand-new Fendi bag, and so much more.
Other items for sale include two vintage Burberry trench coats and numerous dresses from designers like Gucci, Ellie Saab, Givenchy, Louie Vuitton, Dolce & Gabanna, and Valentino.
