Kyle Richards: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star Weighs in on Lisa Rinna’s Departure and Calls for Chrissy Teigen to Join the Show

Kyle Richards is finally weighing on Lisa Rinna’s exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Plus, Kyle discusses how the franchise will replace Rinna after eight seasons of her stirring the pot. “Lisa brought a lot to the show on her eight years of being on, and regardless of what happened last year — people have very strong feelings about what happened last year — regardless of that, she brought a lot to the show,” Kyle on a recent Amazon Live stream. “It’s very strange to think that she’s gone, and I’m not someone who likes change,” she continued before noting that she “will miss” Rinna. “I will say [Lisa] was always very supportive of me in my personal life and my business life. Any time I was producing a show or in a movie, whatever it was, she was always extremely supportive, and we had a lot of fun. So, it’s a big loss for me personally.” While Kyle is focusing on the good times with Rinna, many fans are thrilled to see Rinna go especially following her behavior toward Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, during season 12. During the interview, Kyle noted that she and Kathy have yet to make amends following their season 12 drama; however, Kyle is still defending her reaction to Rinna’s claims about her sister. “People have such strong feelings about last season, obviously, because of Lisa and my sister Kathy,” Kyle explained. “People would say, ‘Why didn’t you speak up and defend your sister?’ I can’t always explain things, but sometimes being quiet may look like it’s the easy way out, but it’s actually the hardest thing to do.” Meanwhile, Kyle told TMZ that she thinks Chrissy Teigen should replace Rinna on RHOBH. “I always said Chrissy Teigen would be the best,” the mom of four revealed. “It’s not an easy job, believe it or not.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that Chrissy has any interest in joining the Real Housewives. In fact, according to an interview Chrissy did in June 2022, it seems like she would prefer to remain a viewer like the rest of us. “A lot of people think that I, like, love conflict or I’d be so good on, like, Real Housewives or something… I’m always like, ‘No, no,’” Chrissy told ET last year. Chrissy joked that the Housewives “would scare the c–p out of me” if she ever got into a heated exchange with them. Bravo has yet to announce who will replace Rinna and Diana Jenkins for season 13. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.
