Things aren’t so hunky dory for Kathy Hilton following her appearance on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
The flub occurred when Kathy and fellow guest Crystal Minkoff were playing a game called “Will Kathy Know Them?”
During the game, Andy Cohen showed pictures of celebrities to Kathy and asked her to guess who they were.
When Lizzo’s image appeared, Kathy paused for a moment before guessing, “Precious?”
Kathy mistakenly thought Lizzo was actress Gabourey Sidibe, who starred in the 2009 movie Precious.
Crystal attempted to downplay the mishap, saying, “She is precious, though. Lizzo is precious.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills friend added, “That’s what I call her. Her nickname is ‘Precious’ to me.”

Some Bravo fans took major issue with Kathy’s flub, calling it everything from “messed up” to “insulting” and “racist.”
“The Kathy Hilton clip is messed up, and y’all know it is. Lizzo minds her own business, but all people do is make her a joke, and this time it wasn’t even intentional. This time she caught a stray, and I wish someone would’ve stepped up and said something,” YouTube star Kalen Allen shared on Twitter.
Other fans felt Kathy’s error was a simple mistake and defended her on the Everything Housewives Instagram page.
“Not racist, just Kathy,” one fan said. Several other fans noted that while Kathy’s comments were “ignorant,” they weren’t “racist.”
“She’s ditsy, not racist,” another fan wrote.
Check out what else fans had to say – the opinions are all over the place.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Kathy explained the error and blamed it on her poor eyesight.
“The screen was so far away, and my vision is terrible. If you recall, I couldn’t even make out who Justin Timberlake or Melissa Etheridge was,” Kathy commented on the Queens of Bravo Instagram page.
