The Real Housewives of New York season 14 reboot is one step closer to becoming a reality.
The casting agent in charge of bringing together a new group of women for season 14 of RHONY has submitted their choices to Bravo for approval.
“That’s a wrap! The RHONY casting team is wrapped! Everything is in Bravo’s hands now!” RHONY Casting revealed on Instagram.
Filming is set to commence in the fall with season 14 premiering on Bravo in 2023.
In March, Bravo announced they were rebooting the New York Housewives franchise and pressing pause on season 14 for 2022. Bravo noted they are “searching for a diverse group of friends who best reflect one of the most multicultural cities in America.”
Executive producer Andy Cohen told Variety, “You know that we’re at a crossroads for RHONY. We’ve spent a lot of time figuring out where to go. And the plan that we’ve come up with, I think, is a real gift to the fans.”
Andy added, “There are thousands of stories to tell here. This is the most multicultural, diverse, and energetic, and exciting city in America: We are searching for a multicultural group of friends who really best reflect the most exciting city in the country. We’re looking for a group of women who are real friends and who are of diverse backgrounds, races, and religions.”
