Dorinda Medley Questions RHONJ Return With Same Cast: “Why’d They Go Off Air?”

Dorinda Medley is weighing in on The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast news — and she has some questions.

During SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Dorinda reacted to the announcement that Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania will be the only returning cast members for Season 15.

At first, she seemed excited about the show coming back.

“Real Housewives of New Jersey is on display and back better. Teresa, Dolores, and Melissa begin filming season 15 soon,” she said.

But that excitement quickly turned into confusion over Bravo’s decision.

“Yes. I’m just interested, this is the same people they left with. Why’d they go off air?” Dorinda asked.

She continued, clearly questioning the long pause if the core cast remains the same.

“All this to just come back with the same. No Margaret.”

As co-host Kiki Monique filled her in on Margaret Josephs’ exit and her statement about not returning, Dorinda also reflected on other cast members who didn’t make the cut.

“And I really some of them like I’m surprised, like Raquel. I really liked Raquel as a cast member,” she said, referring to Rachel Fuda.

Still, Dorinda acknowledged that the trio of Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores is a strong foundation for the show.

“But let’s face it, these three are that’s a strong group. It’s interesting. Teresa, Dolores, and Melissa. Wow, that’s amazing.”

At the same time, she couldn’t shake the bigger question about the pause.

“Well, listen, people are very happy. I mean, we love our New Jersey, but I feel like why didn’t they just keep them on all this time?”
