It’s no secret that season 13 of the Real Housewives of New York is nothing short of a disaster.
Now former RHONY star Bethenny Frankel weighs in on the worst season in the franchise’s history.
On August 5, a fan tweeted Bethenny, asking, “What’s your opinion on why #RHONY is so bad this season?”
“I haven’t been watching (no shade at all-I’m just disconnected) but, knowing nothing but what you all message me, teams can’t hit home runs every game…” Bethenny replied.
Another fan added that it is “Time for B to strap up the cleats and bat” and save the franchise.
“Lol, this is not about me,” she responded.
B then noted, “Teams sometimes have shitty seasons…sometimes it’s the players, sometimes it’s the coaching or a combination.”
As we’ve previously reported, the NY Housewives are “panicking” as producers determine who’s getting fired and re-hired for season 14 of the franchise.
This news comes as the ratings for season 13 continue to plummet each week.
“Eboni, Ramona, and Leah are ALL in danger [of being fired],” a source revealed to The Sun.
The source notes that the current RHONY casting situation is a “nightmare.”
The season 13 reunion has been pushed back to at least September or later, so filming for season 14 won’t begin until 2022.
The source says that “pushing the start of filming for next season back to next year has everyone in [a] panic,” adding: “The cast want to know if they’re getting a check or not.”
“Producers wait until the very last minute to make offers to the cast they want,” the source confesses. “The panic among the current cast will go for months as they scramble to find new cast members. It’s a straight-up mess.”
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
