Brittany Cartwright fires back at trolls who say she still looks pregnant three months after giving birth to her first child.
“I keep seeing comments that I look pregnant here, well guess what? I probably do — I just had a baby three months ago, and my body is healing, and I’m working hard to get back in shape,” she wrote on Sunday via her Instagram Story alongside a photo of her and her husband, Jax Taylor, at a recent red carpet event.
“Everybody is different; every pregnancy is different,” she added. “I’m so proud of this body. It gave me the best blessing I could ever imagine. And on top of it all, I felt great this night.”

The photo in question was taken at the premiere of Midnight in the Switchgrass, which was directed by former co-star Lala Kent’s fiancé, Randall Emmett, which went down on July 19, 2021, three months after Brittany gave birth.

Brittany and Jax welcomed their son Cruz in April 2021.
The former Vanderpump Rules star spent much of her pregnancy defending her changing body. In March, she clapped back at critics who accused her of photoshopping her pregnant photos on social media.
“I’m so sick of the haters trying to say I photoshop my mirror selfies,” she wrote on Instagram. “Any woman in the world knows how to take a flattering angle of themselves. I mean, it’s just what we do. You know, it’s never going to look the same as an unflattering paparazzi photo that you don’t want to be taken of yourself or that you’re even aware of.”
Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo in late 2021 or early 2022.
