REPORT: Kyle Richards Fears Sister Kathy Hilton Joining RHOBH Will Ruin Their Relationship

Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton

History repeating itself?

STAR reports that Kyle Richards is having second thoughts after lobbying to get older sister Kathy Hilton signed on for season 11 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Kyle and [Kathy] have worked hard to get their relationship to a good place, and Kyle fears Housewives is going to upset that dynamic,” says an insider. “Even though it’s good for the show.”

If you call Kyle and Kathy spent several years on the outs over their husband’s real estate business fallout.

Plus, as any OG RHOBH fan knows,  Kyle’s family blowouts with her other sister and former co-star Kim Richards brought the drama to RHOBH for years but destroyed their relationship in the meantime. We all remember Kim and Kyle famously clashing in the back of a limo during season 1. It wasn’t until Kim left RHOBH that Kyle and Kim were able to heal their fractured relationship.

“Things really deteriorated during Kim’s time on the show,” says the insider. “Kyle doesn’t want to see that happen again.”

Despite Kyle’s worries, she knows as the only remaining OG cast member of RHOBH; it’s her job to keep Bravo execs happy.

“The show is based on tensions and feuds,” notes the insider. “And if things go south between Kyle and Kathy. Kyle won’t be the one to leave.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo Wednesday, May 19, at 8 p.m. ET.
