Lisa Vanderpump may have lost her RHOBH friendships but she certainly has received support from her beloved Hollywood community!
Over the weekend LVP was honored by the City of Los Angeles the Hollywood Legacy Award which is awarded to those making contributions to bettering the lives of the LGBT community. The award states:
“On behalf of the city of Los Angeles, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your advocacy for and commitment to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. We commend you for being an ally and for bettering the opportunities and awareness of individuals who identify as LGBT. Through your advocacy, you have made a mark on the history that has helped define the gay community. Thank you for being a party of the 6th Annual Reel to Real exhibit and for being an angel in the City of Angels.”
Say what you will about LVP, she has done a lot for the LGBT community and after her rough year I’m happy to see something good happen for her. I am curious to see what her co-stars comment on this (if they do at all) as Rinna recently accused LVP of being trans-phobic which would be the exact opposite of what this award stands for:
Thoughts on LVP receiving this award? Do you think Rinna’s comments were a low blow?
