Could Brooks Ayers Be Charged For Falsifying Chemo Bills?

Brooks Ayers continues peddling his cancer story to the public, but it seems that Brooks may be digging himself into a hole he can’t lie his way out of.

Yesterday, AllAboutTRH reported that Brooks may have falsified the chemotherapy bills he showed to E! News as proof he has cancer. After review Brooks’ records were an exact match to images on Google.

With more and more people believing that Brooks did, in fact, falsify his chemo bills; fans are now claiming Brooks could be charged for his lies.

A fan tweeted at Meghan King Edmonds claiming that since Brooks did falsify his bills he could be charged under California law.

According to California Penal Code section 471.5, “Any person who alters or modifies the medical record of any person, with fraudulent intent, or who, with fraudulent intent, creates any false medical record, is guilty of a misdemeanor. “

Meghan was shocked by the news replying, “Wow! I believe City of Hope &/or Newport Imaging would have to sue 4 fraud or OC DA could prosecute independently.”

While there is no confirmation that anyone plans on charging Brooks for falsifying his chemo bills, it seems that Brooks may want to stop telling lies before it gets him into some major legal trouble.

Do you think Brooks should be charged for doctoring fake chemo bills?
