Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has recently began filming its fourth season, and many names have been thrown around in the rumor mill about who will replace the ladies who are not coming back!
Adrienne, Camille, Marisa, and Faye won’t appear on the show anymore. Journalist and plastic surgeon wife Dayna Devon recently told us exclusively that she did not get cast on the show, and another rumored lady, Penny Lancaster, has rejected her offer to join the show.
Appearing on Katie Couric’s show Katie, the host asked Penny why she rejected the show and Penny explained, “‘Cause I’m not a Beverly Hills wife.” Penny elaborates, “I’m from England, as you all probably know, and I consider myself a very down-to-earth, girl next door, so I just wouldn’t fit into that.”
It looks like the rumor of not many women being interested in joining the franchise may be true. Since Rod Stewart’s son is dating Adrienne Maloof, it makes sense that Bravo would want to take advantage of this connection to the remaining original cast.

It’s been months since former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof settled her divorce with Dr. Paul Nassif, but the couple are still clashing legally over their three children! Adrienne and Paul are still hashing out the details of their custody settlement, and it looks like Adrienne is very unhappy with Paul. A source close to the situation shares with Life & Style, “Paul is making it impossible to agree on custody. Although he is a millionaire surgeon, Paul wants Adrienne to pay his bills, including child and spousal support. Adrienne’s pissed!” Paul’s rep declined to comment on the situation for the sake of the children’s best interest. Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif are still in the process of finalizing their custody settlement for their three children.
Adrienne is unhappy with Paul because he is allegedly requesting her to pay his bills, including child and spousal support, despite being a millionaire surgeon.
Paul’s representative has declined to comment on the situation, citing the best interest of the children as the reason for their silence.
Kandi Burruss, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta and her own spin off show, The Kandi Factory, is in a legal feud with former co-star, friend, and client Kim Zolciak over their ill-fated collaboration on the pop single ‘Don’t Be Tardy For The Party.’
Kim has recently hinted that she would return to RHOA if asked, and with the rekindling of her relationship with NeNe Leakes, production would be stupid not to try to get Kim to appear on the hit series once again!
Ms. Drama over at AllHipHop recently sat down with Kandi to talk about The Kandi Factory and RHOA. Of course, Kandi was asked if she would like to see Kim come back to RHOA, to which she sternly replied, “No.”
Kandi ellaborated, “I don’t think she should come back and the reason why is because she wasn’t trying to participate in anything anymore. We were very serious in what we were saying about her coming places and always trying to stay 30 minutes to an hour and leaving, and always having an excuse about ‘Oh, my babysitter couldn’t come today’ or this, this, and that.”
Seeing as how all the women (minus Kenya) have children, Kandi saw Kim getting out of things as unfair. She adds, “We all have kids and we all participate in our kids’ lives regardless of what was said. If we have something to do, or a place that we have to be at, we know to tell our babysitter we have to be there longer than an hour. And if your babysitter can’t do the job then get another babysitter. Every single time, it was an excuse.”
Once Kim left the show, there was a sudden change in the vibe. While the newer ladies led most of the feuding, the older Housewives remained a little less combative. Kandi admits that Kim leaving was a bit alarming, but reveals that the ratings increase after she left is indicative of what viewers want in RHOA.
“When they first said that they were gonna let her [Kim] go, I was sitting there like ‘Uh oh. What is that going to do to the show? Are people going to be upset? Is it going to be a problem?’ But our ratings actually went up, and so from that, to me it just felt like people just enjoyed the show and enjoyed seeing us engage with each other. So if you’re not going to engage, then you don’t need to be a part of it,” explains Kandi.
It’s no surprise that Kandi would want Kim away from the show, but I actually disagree and think Kim coming back would be good for the franchise, now. Given that Kim and NeNe were such a draw with viewers in past season, they may want to see where things head now for the duo!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards came out to the annual Race to Erase MS fundraiser event earlier this week, also attended by Camille Grammer and Lisa Vanderpump! Kim dished some details to Perez Hilton on the red carpet and updated fans on how season four filming, which has recently started, is going thus far. Kim tells Perez Hilton of her status with the women, “I talk to all of them, except for Yolanda, who I think we kinda went out on not such a great note. But I have seen her since then, and we have been making maybe some little progress.” In other possibly shocking news, Kim admits that she is getting along really well with Brandi! As you know, she and Kim feuded once Brandi joined the group back in season two, but on season three they moved forward and it looks like they are finally in a great place now. Kim adds about Brandi, “I get along very well with Brandi. Surprise, right? I don’t think anybody saw that coming, but I think Brandi and I have a lot more in common than people realized, or that I realized. And I really do like her!” “It’s all about forgiving and moving forward, and that’s what we’ve both done,” reveals Kim. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks looked beyond ready to pop at the season five reunion, and now the Southern belle has (sort of…)! Sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly that Phaedra and Apollo have welcomed their new son today, after a short little scare.
TooFab is reporting that Phaedra was not due until May 25, but this morning she was experiencing severe pains. “Phaedra began to experience severe stomach pains this morning on the way to work, and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors performed an emergency Cesarian,” reports the web site.
“Mom and baby are doing great,” a source revealed to the Us Weekly. No details on the baby’s name were given to the press yet, but I am sure the baby can expect some over the top festivities when he comes home.
