Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville shares photo of facial disfigurement from a skin condition: “I’m miserable and depressed.”

On July 24, Brandi Glanville showed off her facial swelling due to angioedema, a skin condition that she was diagnosed with last year, which she claims was brought on by stress.

“This is why I’m miserable and depressed :(,” the 51-year-old wrote alongside a photo of her severely swollen face. “I’m not even gonna share the picture of when it sinks in. Stress will kill you. How is your wealth? Take care of yourself people, thank you Bravo. I couldn’t even work if I wanted to at this point.”

Back in January, Brandi Glanville first opened up about her facial disfigurement saga with  Entertainment Tonight. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star explained that she had been left disfigured from stress-induced angioedema brought on by  Caroline Manzo‘s claims that she inappropriately touched her while filming season 4 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in January 2023. 

According to Brandi Glanville, her lips and face first began swelling up in August. 

“I’ve had some health issues that have affected my ability to talk, my ability to taste food. My face basically would swell up -like I would…go into anaphylactic shock constantly, and I saw seven doctors, and their answer to it was stress-induced angioedema.” 

By October, Brandi Glanville was hospitalized as her health continued to deteriorate.

“I was on the phone with Andy Cohen… and I was just given some very disappointing news and I couldn’t take it,” she told ET. “The stress just, my eyes swelled shut, my hands [blew up]. I laid down before I fell down, but an ambulance came and I spent two days in the hospital, trying to figure out what’s wrong.”

“It’s affected every aspect of my life,” she continued. “My boyfriend and I broke up. I can’t pucker my top lips still, because it swelled up so much… it would swell up and go down, swell up and go down. … And now, I can’t kiss. It is hard to talk because the inside of my mouth gets swollen.”

“I’m not the same anymore right now. Everyone’s like, ‘You look great,’ I’m like, ‘I don’t feel like I should feel, I don’t look the way I used to look,’ “ Brandi admitted.

“I just want to be healthy. I have taken my health for granted. I cried on my birthday. It was on November 16th. I cried the whole night and I thought that was my new normal. I was just never gonna look the same or feel the same. I was just gonna be this giant pumpkin head and like my mouth even now I get tired of talking. So, I didn’t do my podcast for several months because I would just have to stop talking and take breaks. It’s insane. I took my health for granted.”

The Bravolebrity went public with her diagnosis after fans began attacking her appearance on social media and accusing her of having too much plastic surgery and/or fillers.
