Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin was traumatized after watching Sunday’s episode of season 8’s finale. Lydia got to watch Vicki Gunvalson’s son-in-law Ryan verbally assault her mother. There have always been rumors that Housewives buy fake Twitter followers to appear more popular than they actually are. While we’re unsure of why this matters, I guess in reality TV land there is a competition for who is more popular and people are willing to put down some cash to advance in this race.
Twitter followers to increase your count is one thing, but can you pay for fake Twitter accounts to send out tweets defending you? It seems that you probably can! Yesterday we shared a video of Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black’s friend mocking, or impersonating (depending on who you believe), Marysol Patton’s mother, Mama Elsa.
In the video there was a loud cackle which sounds like Lea Black, but she denies that she laughed at her friend’s impersonation of Mama Elsa! Our AllAboutTRH Twitter account was instantly flooded with tons of messages from Lea fans, defending her honor and rejecting that she would ever laugh at someone mocking Elsa.
Things started to smell a little fishy when the tweets became excessive. Not even Gretchen Rossi fans flood our mentions like Lea Black’s “fans” do. Another red flag was raised when some of these tweets were exactly identical, down to the wording and use of punctuation marks! Check out what it looked like, below:
I was very curious, so I clicked on the Twitter pages of these people. Surely enough, they don’t seem to be RHOM fans, much less Lea Black fans because they DO NOT even follow her! They all follow a handful of random accounts and have less than 100 tweets on their page.
Before I receive a letter from Roy Black, I will leave it at that. You tell us, is Lea paying for fake bots to tweet on behalf of her “fans”?! There have been rumors suggesting that Housewives purchase fake Twitter followers to appear more popular than they actually are. While the reasons behind this may be unclear, it seems that in the world of reality TV, there is a competition for popularity, and some individuals are willing to invest money to gain an advantage.
It appears that it is possible to pay for fake Twitter accounts to send out tweets defending you. A recent incident involving Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black’s friend impersonating Marysol Patton’s mother, Mama Elsa, resulted in an influx of tweets from Lea’s supposed fans defending her and denying any involvement in the mockery. However, suspicions were raised when these tweets became excessive and remarkably similar in wording and punctuation.
Upon further investigation, it became evident that these Twitter accounts may not be genuine fans of Lea Black or even followers of the Real Housewives of Miami. They do not follow Lea on Twitter and have a minimal number of tweets on their profiles. This raises doubts about whether Lea is paying for fake bots to tweet on behalf of her “fans.”
Teresa Giudice is taking to her Bravo blog to talk about her feelings on this week’s Real Housewives of New Jersey episode. Teresa talks reuniting for dinner with her brother’s family, and meeting with Jacqueline for the first time alone.
Teresa first talks about having dinner with the Gorgas and reuniting the cousins (the best and only nice part of the show, to be honest). She writes:
I loved seeing my girls get to play with their cousins this episode. I love them all so much! Can you imagine me and Joey and Rosie and Kathy running around like that when we were kids? We did! Cousins are your first friends, and I think it’s important to get them together so they can grow up together.
I really am trying to let things roll off my back. I just want my family together and at peace, no matter what. Insult me, make fun of me, do what you will. I’ll keep being a “good little girl.”
It seems Teresa is not liking some of the things she saw. Did she have to quote “good little girl”? It seemed a little passive to me. She continues to talk about her sit down with Jacqueline. Teresa says that she never expected Jacqueline to turn on her, and that we have yet to see more of her journey with Jacqueline!
The sit-down with Jacqueline was intense. I was deeply hurt because we had been so close for so many years. I never expected her to turn on me like she did. I certainly never got any packet of information about Danielle’s past, but if I did, I wouldn’t have read it. I really don’t care about people’s pasts, and I don’t have time to go digging. I’m raising 4 kids and working! I’m not the gravedigger in the bunch, believe me!
Yes, five years ago, I flipped one table — the first and last I’ve ever flipped in anger. I’m a passionate person, but I have grown. I watched the scene on TV and I didn’t like what I saw. I don’t want my kids to see that, and I would never do that again. I’ve never physically attacked anyone, and you certainly haven’t seen me do that this season! I’ve learned from my mistakes. And I have no issues with Danielle anymore. At the time, she was attacking my friends, and I was defending them. Then she said things about me, and it made me mad. But that was a long, long time ago, and I’ve moved on. I’ve apologized publicly, and I wish her all the best. And I wish all the best to her gorgeous girls. She must be doing something right to have such great kids. (Kids that aren’t making fools of themselves on Twitter…)
You’ll have to see how it all plays out with me and Jacqueline. It’s far from over!

Caroline Manzo is taking to her Bravo blog this week to discuss the meeting on Real Housewives of New Jersey between Jacqueline and Teresa, which she helped orchestrate. Caroline is glad that both women met to get closure and hopefully get to a civil point.
Caroline believes that both women were hurt deeply by each other and she’s glad they met, saying:
I’m glad that Jacqueline accepted Teresa’s invitation to meet and discuss open ended issues between the two of them. I don’t care how many times I’ve heard that it was over and put in the past from each of them, I never believed a word they said. Now, some may wonder why I would ask for such a meeting when the animosity between the two is at a level 10. That’s exactly why! Look and listen and watch as they speak about one and other — it’s hurt masked in anger and resentment. The level 10 is based on hurt, not anger. I believe they both needed to have an honest conversation, and if nothing else, get true closure. I didn’t think they would come out of the meeting as best friends, but I would like to think that they could come to terms with their feelings and at least be civil towards one and other, nothing more. Mission accomplished… I think.
Another topic for Caroline this week was her marriage, and her son Albie being worried for his parents. Caroline insists that Albie needs to not worry, there is no divorce looming, and that Albie should make more time for fun.
Albie makes me so sad sometimes. I hated to hear him say he wasn’t ready to be happy. He’s such a serious kid, or man, I should say… I understand and agree that my children have a strong work ethic, and believe me, that’s something that Al and I instilled in the three of them from a very young age. However, a balance of work and play is very important for the mind. Albie is incapable of creating the balance. My husband Albert is the same way and he can’t see my point, therefore, we do disagree from time to time when it comes to the kids. Do me a favor, relax and don’t read too much into his attitude at the dinner table. Albert and I have been together for over 32 years and have had our fair share of ups, downs, and everything in between. There is no divorce hiding in the shadows or discontent with each other. It’s a simple disagreement between two people that have been together for nearly a lifetime. End of story.
When I stopped by Albie’s apartment to talk to him, he mentioned that he was worried about me and Al. Again, relax! I remember when Albie was younger, we would go into the city every now and again without Al for lunch, etc. This kid would actually hold my hand and look after me as if I was the child and he was the adult. All three of my kids are fiercely protective over me, and I love them for it. However, there’s a difference of being protective and living your life in fear of a “maybe.”
I’ve told Albie more times than I can count that God forbid his father predeceases me, there’s nothing he or anyone else can do for me. Al and I have always lived within our means, saved, and invested carefully. We have life insurance policies in place for each of us and a home that is nearly paid for. The bottom line is this — I will be a very wealthy woman with a shattered heart. Money can’t fix that. Having my children around me healthy and happy is what I will need then. Everything else has been carefully thought out and prepared for. Ugh, I hate this discussion, let’s end it.
I think that if Albie sees an issue with his parents’ marriage, there must be something that is off considering he has known them his entire life. I could be wrong though! Do you think Caroline is being honest about the status of her marriage?
Real Housewives of Miami has its own resident animal activist – Joanna Krupa. Joanna is extremely passionate about animal rights, but now her nemesis, Adriana de Moura seems to be following in her foot steps, stripping down and posing in a new campaign to raise awareness against marine animal captivity.
Adriana is the newest face of PETA’s campaign to save Lolita, an orca that has been in captivity in the Miami Seaquarium since the 1970’s. PETA seeks to raise awareness with Adriana to have Lolita taken back to her natural habitat in the Puget Sound.
“How would you feel if your child was taken away from you captured and used for entertainment?” Adriana asks. “Getting naked is not as easy as it sounds in front of everybody, but again I believe its for a good cause so if my nakedness can bring awareness to this appalling situation then I’m still in it literally in hot water.”

Lea Black was hanging out with her friend Frankie J. Grande when took a video of himself mocking Marysol’s mother, Mama Elsa. You could hear as Lea laughs in the background but she has since took to twitter denying it was her laughing. Lea says it’s a false accusation and wrong person but the photo below show’s otherwise. Check out Lea’s tweets and her friend posting a photo of the two before he made the video!
Marysol responded to the mocking saying, “Disgusting people!”

Season 5 of Basketball Wives is premiering on August 19th and we will get to watch as a lot falls part for one of the biggest stars, Evelyn Lozada. The season premiere will show Evelyn Lozada breaking down after losing both her brother-in-law Anthony Ochoa in the same week that she lost her husband Chad Ochocinco when they got into a domestic dispute.
Evelyn vents to her mother, Sylvia saying, “It’s just like the timing is crazy. It’s like two of my best friends just gone. Which feels f*cked up. You know?”
Evelyn begins crying and continues, “Why is this happening to my life? That’s my brother and then he dies right after the incident with me and Chad … Words can’t even explain how dark I felt like, this can’t be my life.”

I do feel absolutely horrible for Evelyn. She did lose the two most important people in her life and I can’t imagine how hard that must have been. I do think that this will help Evelyn be stronger and I’m actually interested in watching how she is going to cope. Will you be tuning in to watch season 5’s Basketball Wives?
William Saracino and Monica Chacon represented Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Joe Giudice’s former business partner when he sued Joe for fraud back in 2007 and it was recently revealed that Chacon got the ball rolling, leading the feds to charge the Giudices with 39 counts of fraud.
Now, Monica and her fellow attorney and husband William have appeared on Showbiz Tonight to talk about the indictment! Monica insists that this is not something personal, and that her client (Joe’s former business partner) deserves to have the truth come out.
To me, the way Monica has been speaking to Radar Online about “vindication”, now doing television interviews, referring to feeling “tortured” by Teresa, and saying that Teresa’s day is yet to come, DOES sound very personal. Is she pissed she was thrown out of a Christmas party?
Do you think Monica has a personal vendetta with the Giudices or is she really just being a good little attorney seeking justice?

It’s the news everyone is talking about, and Andy Cohen had to ask Caroline Manzo about it when she appeared on WWHL after this week’s Real Housewives of New Jersey episode!
In the first RHONJ appearance since Teresa Giudice’s indictment, charging her and husband Joe with 39 counts of fraud, Caroline tells Andy that she did send Teresa a message which she wants to keep private. Teresa did respond, but Caroline will also not share that.
Caroline had a very classy and diplomatic answer to the situation, but Andy asking her if she had any predictions about what would end up happening was a bit tasteless in my opinion. To put Caroline on the spot about something like if it were a producer-driven plot was not very cool. And this is coming from someone who loves Andy.
