Evelyn Lozada Pulled Out Of Basketball Wives Reunion Show And It Has Officially Been Shut Down!

With Basketball Wives season five coming to end, it is time to film the reunion! Except we may never see a reunion considering one of the biggest stars, Evelyn Lozada has pulled out!

According to TMZ, the show was set to tape earlier this month but Evelyn decided she was going to bail out and producers had no choice but to cancel the entire reunion show. That’s not all but it looks like taping will NOT be rescheduled.

So what was Evelyn’s reasoning on being a no-show? Apparently, Chad Johnson. It’s obvious a lot of the topic would revolve around her divorce to Chad Johnson and she is sick and tired of talking about him. Producers felt like the other wives didn’t have much to talk about for the hour of the reunion and that it could not be done without Evelyn.

Looks like Basketball Wives is coming to an end but Evelyn can be in a lot of trouble considering showing up to a reunion is in the contracts. Do you think Evelyn made the right move or is it not fair to the viewers who tune in and watch the show?

Don’t you ever wonder how Teresa Giudice or Gretchen Rossi were selected to be apart of the Real Housewives? I do too! Well Andy Cohen spoke to the Bravo head quarters and answered all of viewers questions regarding how Real Housewives are selected to be apart of the show.

Andy explains all the secrets revealing how much he’s involved, “I am involved in all of it. We have a team…we work with the production company to go over submissions for Housewives.”

And what about those who make a return? Andy says, “Typically, I’m at the forefront of trying to woo back formers to the show. If it’s a terrible idea, people will say to me, ‘It’s a terrible idea. For Orange County, I always wanted to bring Lauri back but Lauri didn’t want to come back.”

Lauri did however end up coming back on season 8 and I do think it was a terrible idea. Are you surprised with how involved Andy is?

I think it’s funny that the first thing Amy noticed about Gretchen was the fact that she was wearing “a ton” of makeup. And how annoying would that be to be sitting on a plane next to someone who all they did was talk on the phone about what beauty stuff they need to have done? Like Gretchen isn’t that important that she can’t wait to discuss that stuff when she’s off the plane.
