Brandi Glanville Explains That She Doesn’t Have Medical Insurance And Defends Lisa Vanderpump!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville hurt her hand on Monday’s past episode of the hit show and shockingly didn’t go to the doctor. Brandi blogs about the episode explaining why she didn’t go to the doctor and defends Lisa Vanderpump for not attending Yolanda’s party.

“I broke my hand on a Thursday. I had my friend who is a MMA fighter and boxer wrap it for me and was happy to go to Carlton’s party on Sunday. I did not go to the doctor for a few reasons. First, I barely had any time to — and second I didn’t have medical insurance at the time. I had been trying for the last year to get medical coverage, but had been turned down because of a pre-existing condition. I have two little boys to take care of and I didn’t want to waste my money on myself and have yet another reason to be turned down for insurance.

I now have medical insurance, and, yes, my hand did heal a little deformed. My best friend drove up from San Diego, thank goodness, because with my right hand broken I couldn’t really do my hair or makeup, and so I got a helping hand from my girls.

We all went over to Carlton’s for her very sexy party. I’ve never been to a party like that in town of Beverly Hills, but it was interesting and fun — and all about the company for me. Yolanda looked stunning and exuded elegance, without being stuffy like some of the other gals that refused to get in the pool. But to each their own!

I wasn’t there when it happened, but I thought it was a really nice gesture when Kyle gave Carlton the necklace she was wearing. Maybe these two can start fresh.

Watching Kim engage with her fans gave me a a sense of how her life must have been while she was growing up. It was nice to see her in her element. She seemed very happy.

Yolanda planned a day of painting in her lemon grove and that morning I woke up and my hand was worse then ever. I wasn’t sure if I could actually drive my car safely all the way out to Malibu, and I was honestly debated taking a cab to the ER. Instead I called Uber and headed out (with swollen hand, bad hair, and little makeup) to Yolanda’s. I’m generally on time and not one to flake, but I was a little bit late to this event.

The setting was beautiful, and as I painted my hand was throbbing so I had to switch hands — and I must say my painting was the least attractive of the group. Carlton brought up Kyle’s name, and I can honestly say that Kyle has never talked to me about Carlton. I don’t think Kyle would because she knows that I really dig Carlton. But I do feel the tension when I am around them.

As far as Lisa canceling at the last minute, it isn’t cool but things do happen.

Our parents always tell us never to talk about politics or religion because those conversations never end well — and guess what they are very very right. I was joking about Carlton putting a spell on Kyle and then Joyce chimes in with an insult about Carlton’s religion and the whole “My beliefs are better then yours, and my God can kick Wiccans ass” fight starts. I personally believe that we are all entitled to our own beliefs and no ones God is better then any one else’s beliefs.”

I don’t understand how Brandi doesn’t have medical insurance but has all types of nice things. How does that even add up? Isn’t her health more important then buying a Range Rover? It’s nice to see Brandi defend Lisa. I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve seen that. Thoughts on what Brandi had to say?

Kenya slammed both Phaedra and Apollo tweeting, “Losers never win. I have always seen through ppl and I was the first to tell you last season about these ppl and who they really are.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump was a no-show to Yolanda Foster’s painting party but had a good excuse that Yolanda was well aware of! Lisa took to her blog to talk about being in trouble once again and wishes the ladies understood the business pressures she’s under. Check out what Lisa had to say below

“We see Kim at her autograph signing, which was a poignant scene, full of memories from her past and embracing the people that came to support her. I liked to see that as having grown up in England I am not too familiar with her past.

When we witness Carlton preparing for the party, I loved the fact that we see a different side of her interacting with her children, and I wish we had more of that. Her girls remind me of Pandora when she was that age.

Carlton’s party was quite amusing really. I probably have seen most things, having had clubs in Soho and West Hollywood so it wasn’t that surprising to me. But for Beverly Hills it was a little risque, shall we say.

Normally gift bags are not from Hustler, but I love the fact that Carlton has the courage of her convictions and really doesn’t give a flying fig what others think.

Oh dear, here we go again. I am once more criticized for encouraging my “friend” to take her broken hand to hospital before the knuckle drops and it ends up deformed. I urged her girlfriend to take her as she was being so stubborn with me, but now it was up to her. Then viewing her calling me “motherf—er,” I get the point.

Regarding the Yolanda painting party, it was a bit of a fiasco. Yes, she was right when she said I didn’t tell her. I told the people that sent invitations for Yolanda. A car wasn’t sent for me. They were well aware that I had a meeting at city hall in order to obtain permits for my new venture. That is my reality, having to work all hours that God sends right now with little time, except at weekends to indulge in afternoon parties. I am trying to arrange my life so I soon will have the time to be a little more indulgent. I would never cancel at the last minute unless it was an emergency and it wasn’t. . .my text was to say that I was sorry I wasn’t there and hope they would have fun.

I would much rather be in a lemon grove painting than groveling to councillors for permits. It was a tough year coupled with too many responsibilities, trying to keep everything afloat. I said that to Kyle at the beginning of the season I was doing many things and none of them very well.

When you see restaurants closing and floundering you have to tighten the belt and step up your game. Sometimes that is a challenge in itself. . . You rarely see me on a red carpet at some benign event for the sake of publicity. I support my charities and my business and occasionally step out for a good time. I haven’t known Yolanda that long, just vaguely before last season, but I had spent many, many weekends with her children and Mohamed so there was an immediate connection. It’s a shame to question that.

I don’t think friendships should change because someone has pressures that can’t be avoided. Maybe if cameras had been following me in my pursuit of constructing this new restaurant some would have a better understanding. So there we have it once again I am in trouble!”

Yolanda Foster Says Lisa Vanderpump Is Just A Hollywood Friend; And A Strategic Player!

Plus, Yolanda also shares, why she was so hurt that Lisa canceled on her five minutes before her painting party. Check out what else she had to say below

Hello Bravo lovers! I just wanted to say thank you for being so loyal to our show and coming back each week to watch, read our blogs, and share your thoughts.

I like to see your different responses. Obviously, I love all the positive — but I also understand the negative comments as I know you are just judging what you see (which is only 25 percent of the whole story as everything gets edited down to a 45-minute show.)

I might be wrong but tonight’s show feels like the calm before the storm. . .

Anyway, these past two years have really changed who I am as a person and my view on people, particularly friends.

As a nurturer, I have always lived my life running for others trying to make everyone happy, even if I often overlooked my own needs. I do it because it makes me happy and fulfilled. Unfortunately, it also created a certain expectation within me that I have now learned to be unreasonable.

Anyway, in our home we have a wall with paintings made by all our children, family members and close friends. For Gigi’s graduation, I recreated that on a much smaller scale to fit her NY apartment so that she will always be reminded of everyone that loves her at home — a beautiful and important sentiment for me to give my daughter.

I hosted the painting/lunch because I thought it would be an intimate and meaningful way to bond with both old and new friends in this group. When the invitation went out, Kyle immediately responded that she had a meeting with the rabbi for her daughter’s bat mitzvah. But besides that I prepared food, etc. for six thinking everyone else was going to be there. I never heard from Kim, but I was much more sensitive to Lisa canceling five minutes before she was supposed to be at my house. It was hurtful because she supposedly is the closest to Gigi and I out of everyone in this group. If she truly had a business meeting should have called me the night before. Being a last minute thought on her mind showed her insensitivity, not only to me as a friend, but also a sign of disrespect to everyone else’s time who did make the effort to keep the commitment that had been on the calendar for three weeks. Everyone in this group has equally full business schedules that needed to be cleared — and small children at home on top of that.

I often wondered in the past 18 months while I was sick at home why Lisa (who calls me her good friend) only came to visit me once — but on the other hand never seemed to miss a star-studded event going on in our life. This incident only again confirmed my longtime suspicion that Lisa is an extremely strategic player and just another Hollywood friend to me. This absolutely does NOT make her a bad person or any less fabulous but it just puts her in a different compartment in my heart. I really gave her the benefit of the doubt because I wanted to believe that she was the friend she says she was but like my line goes: “Don’t tell me you are my friend, act like one.”

When the chips are down, life forces you to take inventory and reevaluate the people in your life. Quite a painful process while in it, but after it all it has been a freeing experience because it will now allow me to spend my time wisely and not run myself ragged trying to be engaged in too many relationships. Rather now I can focus on my love, my family, and the core group of friends that share the real story of my life.

It’s those that are not only there to share the glamourous, good times but more importantly those who are willing to be there for the bad that I proudly call my true friends.

Anyhow tonight’s episode might just be about another lunch to some, but it reminds me of a important lesson that I learned on that beautiful day last June.

I am writing this blog as I sit on Gigi’s couch in her apartment in NY, looking at the gorgeous wall of little paintings that shine bright in her warm little place called home.

I am excited about my double date with Andy and Stassi tonight, please tune in.

Brandi is so immature. Just because Yolanda didn’t say they were best friends on WWHL, this was her way of trying to punish her. Also, Brandi has stated NUMEROUS times that she doesn’t do social media when she has her kids, yet she’s ALWAYS tweeting when she has them. Thoughts on what Brandi had to say? Joyce Giraud Says She Is Not Scared Of Carlton Gebbia Or Her “Spells!”

Joyce Giraud is not happy about how her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Carlton Gebbia, keeps threatening her and Kyle with her “spells,” and she is taking time to explain in her blog, how Carlton is the most judgmental person she’s ever met, and that she is not scared of her. Hola mis amores. This week was very busy, as my big charity event is quickly approaching. It’s a lot of work but so worth it. I hope to see many of you there in March.

On this week’s episode we all see Carlton’s party. She invited us, and, frankly until I saw her interviews, I never knew she had a problem with me — so my husband and I went. When we arrived we gave David a nice bottle of champagne and he was sweet and welcoming. Carlton, on the other hand, wasn’t so welcoming and seeing the face she made when she said hello to me, I wish I would’ve politely declined her invitation.

The best part of the party was when Carlton’s friend AC sang; she sings beautiful. The worst part of the party was when one of the strippers got stuck to the pole because it was so hot in the sun. I felt so bad for her, it was humiliating for the poor girl.

Kim was very cute at her autograph signing. She’s fun!

Kyle was great at her Days of Our Lives appearance. She looked like she was having a really good time.

Yolanda invited us to her home to do a painting party for Gigi so she could take the canvases with her to NY. I thought it was a beautiful idea.

When I arrived, Yolanda and I had a very nice chat for about 30 minutes. Then Carlton arrived a bit stressed out and decided to attack from the beginning. First she says I’m “labeling” Brandi because I asked if we should leave the wine in the house. I didn’t exactly want to hike Yolanda’s steps carrying the heavy bucket of ice if no one was drinking it.

When we walked outside Carlton told me this confusing sentence: “I like you, but I didn’t want to like you, but I really like you!” WTF?!? I think Carlton needs to define herself and try to be true to herself. She claims I need attention, but I’m not the one desperately licking poles or trying so hard to showcase the very same things I criticize about others.

After hiking Yolanda’s steps, which by the way are GREAT! I wish I did those every day. That’s why Yolanda has such a great butt. LOL.

Brandi arrived and we were all having a nice time painting when Carlton’s paranoia kicks in. She says she had a dream that Kyle is talking s— about her. (This is just after Kyle gave her a beautiful necklace to try to start fresh with her…)

As I clearly said to her: if she has a problem with Kyle she should talk to her about it. Unfortunately Carlton would not let go of the subject. The entire painting party became about her talking about Kyle. Then Brandi says that Kyle is scared that Carlton will put a spell on her. That’s when I said: “Spells only get to you if you believe in them.” I respect every religion and have friends that practice a lot of different religions, including witches. But I still haven’t met anyone as judgmental as Carlton. I think she literally uses her Wicca for shock value and wants everyone to believe and be intimidated by her witchcraft. Guess what? I am not scared of YOU! And YES!!! My GOD is so powerful that protects me against any negativity you throw my way.

She basically threatens to “put a spell” saying: “Go home tonight and watch what happens.” I believe in life we create our own happiness; and the only bad energies that enter your world are the things you allow to come in. As I don’t believe in any of Carlton’s negativity, it doesn’t affect me.

What was shocking was to see Brandi crossing fingers hoping the hex would work. Brandi. . .watch it! What you wish for others comes back to you double.

My husband believes in energy and in surrounding yourself with positive people.
That night we went to dinner and I told him what Carlton said to me. He told me that even though I didn’t believe in any of it he hated the fact that she was threatening to put a spell on me. Then he got really sick.

Personally I think maybe he was going to get sick anyhow and the power of suggestion is such a strong thing that he allowed his thoughts to believe it was the hex.

We have a wonderful friend who is a Rabbi. I just love him and his wife. The next day they came right away and blessed our home against any negativity.

As you saw in the preview, in next week’s episode I confront Carlton about her threats.
