Kristen Taekman and her husband Josh have been all over the news ever since it was revealed that Josh had an account on Ashley Madison. Josh has since apologized for his account. Kristen’s co-star, Ramona Singer, is speaking out on the scandal.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Ramona said she does not think Josh would actually cheat on Kristen. “I don’t believe Josh has ever cheated on Kristen,” Ramona said. “I see them as a really loving couple. Every couple has problems — I don’t care who you are. And I think through the show they actually worked through a lot of them problems.”
Ramona even revealed that Kristen and Josh renewed their vows during this season of The Real Housewives of New York City, but the footage was cut out. She continued, “They cut the scene out, but they did the most gorgeous scene at Tavern on the Green, where they celebrated their wedding anniversary and she actually put on — and I get the chills — her wedding dress from when she was married to Josh. And you could see the love. He just looked at her with love. So, I believe they’re really in love and I believe he really is faithful to her.”
In a statement about the scandal, Josh said that his account on the site was a mistake he made with his friends. Ramona then said she thinks he would do something foolish like this. “People do silly things,” Ramona said about Josh’s statement. “I can believe that Josh did something really silly.”
While Kristen and Josh are beginning to work on their marriage, Ramona knows Kristen will be okay. She concluded, “I think Kristen will be OK. You know what, she really is a strong woman — she’ll be OK. She knows I only wish her the best.”
