Cynthia Bailey States That Divorce Made Her Feel Like a Failure!

Many wondered how the beautiful Cynthia could stay with a shady character like Peter (I’m one of those that was curious!) The less than stellar marriage eventually fell apart to the surprise of no one; however Cynthia stated that it still made her feel like she failed.

Speaking with Bravo, Cynthia commented on her divorce stating: “You kind of feel like a failure because it didn’t work out. And then you feel like you have to be strong, but some days you don’t really feel like it. Some days, you’re just like, ‘Look, it is what it is.'”

We all saw their lack of chemistry, Peter’s wandering eye and Cynthia’s unhappiness. Cynthia states it wasn’t one moment but rather a lot of little things that added up, letting her know when it was time to end their marriage:

“There’s always things, whether it’s little things or big things. Sometimes, those little things become big things. There’s always signs, there’s always that unrest inside of you that feels like, ‘Hmmm, I wonder if this is for me. It’s hard.”

Proving that her divorce will be between Ramona’s and Bethenny’s (aka not super quick but not drawn out over years) Cynthia states that they are working on getting things finalized:

“It’s not completely finalized. However, we have agreed on all of the terms. There’s a couple things that we’re working out. So it’s just a matter of days at this point. It’s gonna be over soon.”

I’ve always thought Cynthia was sweet and gorgeous – I’m sure she will have no trouble finding a new man. Personally I think she is much better off without Peter.

Do New Texts Prove That Porsha Williams Hit on Kandi Burruss??

We all know that Porsha is accusing Kandi of liking the ladies and even accuses Kandi of inviting her for some “fun” with her and Todd. Kandi has denied this; however are new texts proving that Porsha was the one trying to get in on the fun?

Reports state that the group was partying it up at a club called Queens when Porsha came in for a kiss with Kandi! Later Porsha texted Kandi, apologizing for the incident. Radar Online has the texts below:

The texts don’t paint the entire picture but it’s obvious that SOMETHING happened at the club. Both ladies seem to want to forget the entire thing happened but unfortunately it will play out this season and someone will be caught in a lie.

From the looks of the texts it does seem that Porsha may have came on to Kandi. Kandi has even stated that Porsha kissed her (not the other way around.)

As for that threesome invitation? If everyone had enough to drink memories could be cloudy so who knows what happened there. Either way you know we are going to hear about it this season. It looks like the two made a pact to not discuss whatever went down; however Porsha seems to have broken that promise. If that’s the case you know Kandi is throwing her gloves off!

Jacqueline Laurita Proves She Was Asked Back To RHONJ For Season Six!

Let’s spill some behind-the-scenes tea!

During season 6 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, many fans assumed that Jacqueline Laurita wasn’t a Housewife because Bravo didn’t ask her back and instead demoted her to a friend of the Housewives. However, Jacqueline has always maintained this rumor wasn’t true and claimed that was asked back for season 6 but turned it down.

This rumor was FINALLY put to rest in a never aired scene from the season 7 reunion when Andy Cohen backed up Jacqueline’s claims and confirmed she was in fact asked to come back for season 6.

Despite clearing up this rumor at the reunion, Jacqueline wasn’t satisfied and took to Instagram to make sure all her fans and haters heard the truth loud and clear.

Jacqueline wrote, “Just wanted to clear this up to the people (especially the nasties) who thought I had been fired last year. It was my choice to leave and my choice to come back. So there!”

Honestly, we all know why Jac came back for season 7 and it has a lot to do with dollar signs. I think Jacqueline had hoped she’d play a bigger role on Manzo’d and decided not come back to RHONJ but then needed the money. I’m curious if Jac will be back for season 8. I honestly don’t know how they can have both her and Teresa come back because it will be the same old drama yet again.

Andy Cohen Reveals Texts He Has Received From Housewives! Which House Husbands Text Him As Well?

It must be a pain to deal with so many divas on a daily basis – just ask Andy!

In honor of his new book Superficial being released, Andy has dished some dirt with Bravo on what it takes to be him on a daily basis.

“I think what people don’t realize about me is that I really have a constant going with the Housewives and very random Househusbands on my phone. So, yeah, Slade Smiley will text me every so often.”

Poor Andy. If I were him, Slade is a number I would definitely block!

Andy also reveals some of the random texts he gets from the ‘wives and you know this probably isn’t even the annoying stuff he deals with.

The most recent housewife to text him was Tamra who thought he looked good in his CUT Fitness tee. Vicki had texted him to complain (of course) of something that was written about her on social media. Andy reveals his sage wisdom by telling Vicki to ignore social media (something he has told her to do for more than a decade. Apparently she hasn’t learned yet!)

Andy learned that often times he has a love/hate relationship with the ladies as when they are happy it’s all good, but when things don’t go their way they love to contact him to complain. You can view the video and Andy’s comments below:

Personally I love watching the housewives but you know being their boss would get old real quick. I’m sure many are annoying and I can’t imagine the amount of texts he gets from certain househusbands.

As the husband of a Real Housewife Chris Laurita has witnessed a lot of drama on the Real Housewives of New Jersey but the “frustrating” season 7 reunion takes the cake in his opinion.

“I think all the reunions have been difficult for one reason or another. This one was difficult as well. I really feel like Jacqueline was kind of on her own island,” Chris revealed to Bravotv.com

Chris said that he felt Melissa and Joe Gorga went after his wife Jacqueline Laurita especially hard at the reunion even insinuating that the duo had a plan to attack Jacqueline. “I was really surprised to see Joe and Melissa going after her because they were the ones who kind of made us hate Teresa. They said so many things to us over the past few years that really put us in a place where we can’t possibly trust her. And then all of a sudden, we get to this year’s reunion, and it’s a whole different ballgame. Now we got Joe and Melissa against us, especially against Jacqueline, and Teresa’s jumping on the bandwagon. And it’s kind of like they had a plan to attack her, and that’s what they did.”

As for Teresa’s claims that Jacqueline set her up and called the IRS, Chris calls the accusation “ridiculous.”

“That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life. I’m sorry, but first of all, we have never called anyone on anyone for anything. And we certainly had no involvement with that whatsoever. That was all going on before we even really got to know them,” Chris explains.

While Chris attempted to explain his and Jacqueline’s side of the story during part two of the reunion, Teresa continued to claim that Jacqueline was still somehow involved, which Chris saw as Teresa’s attempt to deflect responsibility.

“It’s really, really simple. All I was trying to say was take responsibility for your own actions. At what point do you take responsibility? Stop blaming everybody else. At the end of the day, nobody did those things but you. So just take responsibility. We don’t care. We’re not gonna hold it against you. But just stop blaming everybody. Last year, she was blaming her brother. This year, she’s blaming Jacqueline. Who’s next? It’s just ridiculous,” Chris said. “I think it’s all about owning what you’ve done and saying, ‘Look, I screwed up’ and ‘I’m sorry’ and move on. It’s that simple.”

Chris goes on to say that despite all the drama there still may be hope that Jacqueline can reconcile with Teresa and Melissa.

“Anything is possible. She’s not afraid to tell you what she’s thinking or tell you how she’s feeling. But if you have a conversation with her and you tell her, and she tells you, ‘OK, I got everything out. It’s off my chest. Let’s move forward,’ she will 100 percent move forward without looking back. But that’s who she is. I’m just not sure if Teresa is capable of that. Or Melissa,” Chris said.

Will Chris Laurita Remain Friends with Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga?

It’s never easy being the husband of one of the Real Housewives, especially in Jersey where the men always seem to get sucked into the drama more often than not.

Chris Laurita is no stranger to dealing with the drama between his wife Jacqueline Laurita and her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars, but it seems that this season the drama between the ladies has taken a toll on Chris’ friendships with both Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga.

In a new interview with The Daily Dish, Chris reveals that it hasn’t been easy watching Jacqueline’s intense interactions with her co-stars.

“Yeah, it’s been a very difficult season. Jacqueline is very big on people being truthful with her, and if you’re gonna try and establish or re-establish a friendship with her, she just needs to know that it’s real. And the second that she feels like it’s not, she gets really discouraged, and she puts her guard up,” Chris explains. “Obviously, I’m her husband, and I sleep with her every night. I’ve seen what she had to go through this year, and it was a very tough year for her because you find yourself, you always find yourself in a defensive position because you have to defend the truth. You kind of got to speak the truth, and when you speak the truth, sometimes people don’t like to hear it.”

While many fans have accused Jacqueline of intentionally stirring the pot during season 7, Chris has another theory saying that he believes Melissa and Teresa made up and made a pact to “back each other up no matter what” and “go after whoever got in their way” which turned out to be Jacqueline.

“Jacqueline was the one that was being attacked, especially in Vermont. We honestly went to that dinner that night thinking we were gonna have a nice conversation or thinking at least have an opportunity to let Jacqueline tell her side of the story. That is not what happened. We walked in, and she was immediately under attack. It wasn’t a very good place for us to be. That’s why we left,” Chris said.

Despite the drama between the ladies, Chris believes that he and the Joes have been able to navigate the their friendships while remaining loyal to their wives. “Well, I think for guys, it’s a lot easier to talk it out. It doesn’t take as much time to talk it out. Within 20 minutes, you kind of said what you had to say, and you move on from it. I think it’s different for the women. I think they hold grudges. It’s kind of like the guys can just tell you what time it is, where I think the women on this show kind of tell you how to build a watch. And it’s two different approaches.”

However, Chris does admit that this season’s drama has caused rifts in his friendships with the Joes. “It definitely has impacted my relationship with both Joes. There’s no question about it. But it’s not because I walked away because I had to. I walked away because I wanted to. I walked away because I didn’t like the way they were treating us, nevermind just my wife. It was a decision that I made for my own reasons.”

Chris does hope that he can be back on friendlier terms with the Joes one day. “I never say never. If you look at what happened with Joe [Gorga] and Teresa, their relationship was rockier than I think anyone’s relationship has ever been on the show. It actually got violent between the two Joes, and look at the way it is now. If that can turn around, then anything can turn around.”

“It’s very, very simple. It all comes down to people taking responsibility for their actions. And people being able to talk about it and truly mean what you’re saying and then move on. That’s all it takes. But I just don’t think that there are people on this show that have the ability to do that,” Chris explains.

I was so sad during the season when Joe Giudice and Chris were put in the middle of their wives drama again. I think these two have a genuine friendship and affection for each other. Hopefully they can eventually be friends again, even if Teresa and Jacqueline can’t be.

Jersey Girls stick together! Jersey Shore alum, Sammi Sweetheart shares a podcast with Siggy Flicker called Just Sayin’ and on it they have a wide array of subjects, including relationships. When it comes to personal relationships, Siggy won the gold as she is deeply in love with her husband Michael Campaella. As we’ve gotten to know Siggy on RHONJ, we know that she LOVES to give advice to her friends, so what exactly has she shared with Sammi regarding love?

Speaking with Bravo, Sammi reveals: “Oh my God, she gives me advice all the time. I always listen to advice. I don’t always take it. She tells me to keep your heart open, get out there, ’cause I’m single now. She’s like, ‘Just date and have fun.'”

As for how the two Jersey Girls met each other? Sammi reveals: “We met, actually, at an event one night through our publicist. We have the same publicist and we just hit it off and became friends. I love her so much. It’s weird seeing her on TV right now.”

Their friendship is a two way street, as Sammi also gave advice to Siggy when she joined RHONJ. Speaking from experience, Sammi advised: “I was like, ‘It’s going to be crazy, so just make sure you’re strong and you have a good attitude about it and you’ll be fine.'”

Personally I love to see women supporting women so I’m happy these two have a friendship.

When we hear the word ‘overweight’ Gigi Hadid (daughter of former RHOBH Yolanda Hadid) is probably the last person that comes to mind. So why are there rumors that designer Tommy Hilfiger made remarks about his muse’s weight?

During an interview with Yahoo! Style, Tommy Hilfiger described the famous Bravo daughter turned model as an “all-American girl next door with an exotic twist.”

So that’s not too bad but what Tommy said next had everyone scratching their heads!

“Our casting director said: she doesn’t really fit, because she’s not quite as tall as the other girls; she’s not quite as thin. So, they put a red, white, and blue poncho on her, which covered a lot of her body.”

Naturally Tommy’s statement caused upset; however Gigi quickly came to the defense of her fashion mentor stating:

“Tommy was rooting for me, and regardless of what the stylist of that season said or what he put me in, Tommy wanted me in the show…Tommy loved my curves. The next season, I wore a bikini on the same runway with the same stylist of the show that had previously put me in a poncho.”

While it’s sweet of Gigi to defend Tommy, I think this proves that the fashion industry is still guilty of unnatural and unhealthy standards of beauty. The fact that someone on Tommy’s team even mentioned Gigi’s size is disturbing. I think this is further proof that although designers may publically say they loves curves, behind closed doors there are still some serious issues with the female form.

We were lucky about to interview the fabulous Heather Dubrow on her new home and dropped some not so subtle hints that we would love to see the inside of her closet. Looks like the wait is over as Heather is showing off her closet on her YouTube series, Heather’s Closet, making girls everywhere green with envy.

In the clip we see the infamous Champagne doorbell (and yes it actually works) her amazing collection of designer bags, and even hidden drawers and doors for special items. One of her more special items is her wedding dress which she still keeps in there (and it even still fits!)

Her closet goes with her modern home with clean lines and a monochromatic color scheme.

I think it’s safe to say that being the wife of a top plastic surgeon certainly pays off! I can only imagine the worth of her purse/shoe/jewelry collection.

While I am beyond jealous of her closet, part of me is still surprised she is comfortable showing this off considering what just happened to Kim Kardashian in Paris. Heather had mentioned she thought Kim’s robbery would affect the housewives as it shows the very dark side of publically flaunting your wealth.

RHOA Recap: House of Shade and Dust!

Atlanta fans rejoice – a new season is upon us!

We start out with Kandi in her happy home with her son Ace and husband Todd. Ace is the poster child of a happy baby and Kandi seems to be in her element in the wife/mother role.

Over to Moore Manor, Kenya is still working on the construction of her new home. Kenya’s home is modern and looks beautiful (so far) but is still far from completed. Kenya reveals she and Matt are no longer together and claims she dumped Matt. Matt apparently ‘lost it’ in Mexico when checking Kenya’s phone and got violent. No word on what was on her phone that made him angry, but it’s clear his reaction was out of line.

A hop, skip and jump away is Chateau Sheree in all of it’s 10,000 sq feet glory. Sheree admits it’s over budget, but it’s quite spectacular and I’m wondering if she can actually afford this (time will tell.) Sheree admits that she and Bob are still friends and are still in a great place. Sheree doesn’t exactly say ‘never’ regarding a romance with Bob; however states he has a lot of work to do. What she is sure of is that her son has been getting a LOT of attention from RHOA and she is sure all his good looks are a result of her genes.

Phaedra is still besties with Porsha and the two are hanging out in Phaedra’s beautiful home. The two single ladies discuss their divorces and giggle over the possibilities of what may be in store this season as the two are unattached. Phaedra is officially divorced but isn’t interested in online dating as they are full of ‘crazies’ and ‘murderers’ and that’s including Christian mingle! While hanging in the kitchen, a mystery man appears at the door in a horse and carriage to invite Phaedra to the grand opening of “Moore Manor.” The only requirement for guests is that dates must be ‘hot’ and not ‘THOTS.’

The Atlanta ladies are having trouble in love as Cynthia is also filing for a divorce from Peter (to the surprise of no one.) Peter is living in Charlotte and as Cynthia is still in Atlanta, both are obviously going in two different directions. Cynthia claims she doesn’t want alimony and is adamant that there was no infidelity. She wants the house but other than that, Peter can go on his merry way. Cynthia admits that saying you want a divorce vs. actually filing for it makes s*it real. For some reason, Cynthia’s exit from her lawyer’s office gets some seriously intense music to accompany it, the scene was a bit odd.

Back to Porsha, we find out that she made good on her promise to Andy and is attending anger management sessions (because she didn’t want to get fired from the show.) Porsha tries to take some of the responsibility but also states that ladies are labeling her as dangerous or aggressive. Porsha also reveals pain from her past, being made fun of for her looks and admits that insecurity still bothers her today. Her therapist points out that Porsha needs to take responsibility for her behavior (specifically going crazy at a party) and I’m glad her therapist isn’t a pushover.

Kenya and Sheree are picking up on their drama from last season without skipping a beat. Kenya throws shade by stating Sheree didn’t get a horse/carriage invite to her party as Sheree doesn’t have a permanent resident to deliver it to. Sheree admits it was a shady invite and thinks Moore Manor should be rolling out the red carpet for She by Sheree.

It’s pretty clear that Cynthia’s storyline this season will be her divorce with Peter as all her scenes revolve around this. Cynthia Facetimes Peter and finds out he’s with his new girlfriend. Despite the new woman, Peter says he misses Cynthia’s face and Cynthia hints Peter would have stayed in the marriage if she would have been willing to as well.

On to happier scenes, Kenya is getting ready for her housewarming party and her house is far from ready. There are men working on renovations, trash laying about and Cynthia is shocked Kenya is having a party in these conditions. One thing Kenya does have going for her is that Matt is attempting to apologize and sent her balloons and gifts. Kenya seems to miss him as the home reminds her of him (as he helped build it) but can’t forgive his behavior.

Kenya’s party seems to be a hit and seems to attract a number of random guests. Sheree arrives and is judging the home left and right. It’s clear we are going to get a lot of Moore Manor vs. Chateau Sheree this season. I have to comment that it’s funny that Kenya didn’t want any “THOTS” or short dresses at her party but basically wore a ill fitted bra to her own party.

Porsha rolls up in her Rolls Royce as the plus one to Phaedra much to the surprise of Cynthia. The two have a violent history and in a preview we see that Porsha attempts to make well with Cynthia.

Overall I thought the premiere episode was boring but I know it was used to set the stage for the remainder of the season. Hopefully it gets more interesting from here on out.
