With some of the Real Housewives franchises struggling, it would make sense that some new cities may be in the works. Nashville has long been rumored to be one of those cities as it’s full of bars, music, celebrities, and money. With cameras filming many prominent Nashville ‘wives, the rumors have been hotter than ever – so is there any truth to it?
According to Country Now, rumors started to fly when known names such as Brittany Aldean and Jana Kramer were spotted filming in the Nashville area. Kramer is actually a friend of Teddi Mellencamp and even admitted to auditioning for RHOBH previously but never heard anything back. At the time, Us Magazine reported that Kramer “never heard anything. I mean, once Teddi [Mellencamp] got let go, that was pretty much [it] because I was going to come on as her friend.”
Flames were fanned when Jana then posted a cryptic post on her Instagram Page asking fans to guess what she was doing when it clearly looked like she was filming a confessional:
In addition to Kramer and Aldean, other names such as Jenna Perdue, Kasi Wicks, Alexis Allen, and Sabina Rich have been thrown around. Full disclose: I do not follow the Nashville scene at all, so I couldn’t tell you anything about any of these names without Googling them. Although it may seem that this is a done deal, Aldean took to social media to deny that she was joining ‘RHON‘ however admits that it would be entertaining:
Although nothing has been confirmed, rumors have been speculating that there will be a ‘Nashville ‘Wives’ type show, although it may not be affiliated with Bravo. Speculation is that it could be on E! or Peacock and will not have the coveted ‘Real Housewives’ title. According to TMZ, something is definitely in the works, but it could be a ‘Country ‘Wives’ type show and could go on several networks, not necessarily Bravo:
I can see a ‘Nashville ‘Wives’ show being a huge hit; however, I think it may be a better fit for E! vs. the traditional ‘Real Housewives’ setup. Either way, something is definitely in the process, so stay tuned for further details.
