Teddi Mellencamp's Rockstar Father John Mellencamp Watches RHOBH And Wishes She Wouldn't Fight With Dorit Kemsley!

With a new housewife, comes new viewers. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is the newest housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she’s bringing in a new demographic of viewers! Teddi’s father, John Mellencamp, is definitely in her camp and corner. The famous rock musician is proud of his daughter for being who she is on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and yes, he actually does watch it! Who thought rockstars don’t watch Real Housewives? He’s not like other dads, he’s a cool dad!

Teddi said on Watch What Happens Live, “Well, he actually called me today and said, ‘I don’t know what my life is coming to, because I had to call my assistant to go ‘what time is the housewives on?'” According to Teddi, he has been watching all season long. Although, he had never watched any of the Real Housewives franchise prior to this season. However; he is enjoying it and is really getting into it.

John also tells Teddi often, “I wish you wouldn’t argue with that Dorit, she seems nice.” All drama aside, her father is really supportive of her and her decision to be in the cast. Teddi explained, “He’s always like, ‘You’re being who you are, so I’m proud of you.'”

Why did she join RHOBH in the first place? “I just have this feeling, I want to do it, I think there’s a lot of fun to be had. I think there’s a lot to learn. If I’m true to who I am, I can’t really have anything to lose.”

I’m so glad that Teddi joined the cast of RHOBH, because she makes it entertaining. I think it’s awesome that John Mellencamp watches the show. I too, hope that Teddi and Dorit will stop all of their arguing. LOL! We will have to see what the future has for those two ladies, but we know that John will be tuning in regardless.

Teresa Giudice Says RHONJ S8 Was Her “Hardest Season” And Comments On S9 Casting!

Now that this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has ended, everyone is talking about the reunion and casting for season 9. Bravo’s The Daily Dish even discussed all of this with Teresa Giudice on The Daily Dish podcast. With the departure of Siggy Flicker, rumors have been swirling about who will fill her slot. A lot of the storylines this season revolved around Siggy, including the infamous cake-gate. Surprisingly, the one housewife who wasn’t involved in much drama this season – was Teresa Giudice. That doesn’t mean it was a good season for her though.

“This was the hardest season for me, because I lost my mom. You know, which sucks, it really does,” Teresa said. Her mother sadly passed away in March of 2017 at the young age of 66. In that aspect, it was really hard for her. In terms of meshing well with the cast, it was good. “I got along with all the girls this season. It was little things here and there, but really, it didn’t bother me at all.”

What got her through the loss of her mother? “I have to say if it wasn’t for the girls, they helped me get through it. When I lost my mom, I didn’t want to work, I didn’t want to film, I didn’t want to do anything. But you know, they did, they were there for me. Her advice is to just keep going when you’re mourning or have a lot of stressful situations occurring. She said, “Listen when you keep busy, your mind just keeps going.” Because of RHONJ and the girls in the cast, she was able to push through and keep on going strong. “I’ll never forget that, I’ll never forget all of them. They helped me get through a rough time in my life.”

Throughout the seasons of the show, we have been able to see Teresa interact with her family. Does she feel lucky to have footage from the show of moments spent with her mom? “Yes, you know, I am grateful for that.” In particular, she likes the part of the show that showed viewers her photo shoot for the cover of her cookbook. “I’m grateful to see the happy moments with my mom, and one of my favorites is that I was able to do my second cookbook, Fabulicious!, and my mom’s on the cover. So it’s three generations, my mom, my daughter, and myself. So that’s one of the best things from being on the show. That I was able to do cookbooks and all my mom’s recipes. We shared that together, that’s something so special to me.”

Does she want someone new to be cast for next season? “I hope so, yeah, definitely. I love meeting new people. I think it’s great.” She admitted she enjoys making new friends and would love for a new woman to join the show. “I don’t mind it, I like meeting new people, I really do. I enjoy it, I’m not the type like ‘I don’t want to make new friends.’ I’m not like that, I enjoy people. Especially if they’re a good person, and good vibes and you get along with them.” Would she want any former Real Housewives to come back? Of course not. Only Dina Manzo!

I agree that someone new needs to join the show! RHONJ is in need of some fresh meat. I do think that the ratings will increase, if there are new storylines with new people. Viewers got sick of the storylines this season and want some good drama like in the earlier seasons of the show. Remember when Teresa famously flipped a table? If all else fails, she could always do that again. Teresa is always the star who carries the entire show! I feel so bad for Teresa losing her mom, especially with everything else she is dealing with. She’s been through a lot, but always comes out on top. You got to give her credit for Standing Strong!

Bravo Says the $30 Million Lawsuit Against Andy Cohen and Melissa Gorga Belongs in Arbitration

Not so fast!

NBC Universal isn’t going down without a fight!

The parent company of our beloved Bravo is pushing for the $30 million defamation lawsuit against them, Melissa Gorga, and Andy Cohen to be moved to arbitration, where they claim it truly belongs.

As previously reported, Melissa Gorga’s former business partner Jackie Beard Robinson is suing NBC, Andy, and Melissa for defamation and intentional emotional distress after she claims they made her look like a criminal on the Real Housewives of New Jersey and Watch What Happens Live.

The Blast now reports that when Jackie agreed to appear on RHONJ, she signed two separate contracts, which require claims like Jackie’s lawsuit to go to arbitration.

So, what is arbitration?

According to Google, “Arbitration, a form of alternative dispute resolution, is a way to resolve disputes outside the courts. The dispute will be decided by one or more persons, which renders the ‘arbitral award.'”

Basically, it will probably save NBC a whole lot of money!

NBC is asking for Jackie’s lawsuit to be dismissed and moved into arbitration. If that doesn’t happen, NBC would like to see the case moved from Flordia to New York or entirely dismissed.

I hope this case gets dismissed and Jackie doesn’t get a penny. Jackie knew what she was getting into and knew what she was doing by getting into bed with Kim D after leaving Melissa high and dry. Jackie is looking for a payday, and this was probably part of her plan from day one.

Jacqueline & Chris Laurita Are Raising More Awareness For Autism!

Jacqueline Laurita and Chris Laurita, may be off of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that doesn’t mean their platform to raise awareness for autism has vanished. Right now the married couple are on the cover of (201) Family magazine for the education issue. Jacq took to her social media to share about it. She said thank you, “for the opportunity to highlight such an important cause in 201 Family.” She shared some of the photos from the magazine spread; of her, Chris, and their son, Nicholas. Current RHONJ cast member, Dolores Catania, commented, “Aww god bless u and all u do.”

There has been a lot of speculation about if Jacqueline will return to RHONJ. With the departure of Siggy Flicker, there is an opening. Jacq hasn’t given a straight forward answer on social media, but sometimes her remarks seem like she truly is in the process of actually returning. There is a lot of drama still surrounding her and Teresa Giudice. Recently Teresa and Jacqueline’s daughter, Ashlee Holmes, were going back and forth in the press. Ashlee tweeted nasty stuff about Teresa, and Teresa spoke about it in an interview, and stated she didn’t want to give the Laurita’s or Manzo’s any press by even discussing them. Teresa also told E! she “could give two shits” if Jacqueline and Caroline return.

Well, just a couple of days ago, Jacqueline posted a quote on Instagram that said, “Narcissists have no boundaries. They feel entitled to say whatever they feel is true, and litter their opinions, whether it’s rude, hurtful, or not true at all. They will then get angry when you defend yourself and blame you for causing “drama.” Jacquelien captioned it, “Do you know anyone like this? Just keep into perspective that these people are not happy in their lives and look for ways to blame others for their reality instead of taking accountability for what got them to this point, learn from life lessons, evolve, and grow as a person. Pray they find peace within themselves, know your truth, and then go about your merry way.” Hmm, could Jacq be hinting this at Tre? In the comments Jacqueline wrote, “it’s SO funny to me how everyone is assuming this post is about Teresa. Lol”

Before that she also posted a photo that said, “You can’t do epic shit with basic people.” Kathy Wakile and Kim DePaola both liked the photo. Perhaps they are referencing this season of RHONJ? It’s been reported the cast has been told they need to make it more entertaining or it’ll be cancelled.

I honestly have no idea if Jacqueline will return or not. Sometimes it seems very likely, as she has a lot to hash out with Danielle Staub. That would be SO entertaining. On the other hand, sometimes it seems like Bravo wouldn’t bring her back. I think Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga would strongly oppose the idea. However; Bravo may do it for the drama. I definitely think Jacqueline would come back if given the opportunity, for the money. Plus it’s a platform for her to keep raising money for Autism. I think it’s fantastic that Jacq does so much for Autism awareness. Kudos to her and Chris for being great parents, I know they go through a lot. But as far as Real Housewives drama, I think Jacqueline should keep it off social media. That has always gotten her in trouble.

Bethenny Frankel Opens Up About Her Current Status With Luann De Lesseps And Jill Zarin

Bethenny Frankel is one of the OG cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City. She recently opened up about two cast mates who were also originally on the show – Luann De Lesseps and Jill Zarin. Her friendships with the two ladies have been up and down over the years. However; since Luann De Lesseps went to rehab and Jill Zarin lost her husband Bobby Zarin to cancer – she has been getting closer to the two. This has fueled a lot of conversation in the media.

Bethenny stopped by Watch What Happens Live and, of course, was asked about Luann and Jill. She commented, “Luann is great. I mean Luann is actually, you know I can’t say I’m surprised, because Luann, we’ve talked about this, is the most resilient, strong, woman I’ve ever met, maybe. She hit the wall going 90, and the way you handle something when something bad happens, is really character building. It shows a lot about a person. She’s taking care of herself, she’s taking it seriously. She’s not delusional about where she is and she’s sort of on a path. She’s in a good place.” She added, “I mean, she’s very honest about exactly where she is and what happened. And about what her goals are. We spent time in a spa, and I’m honestly impressed.”

Bethenny also addressed her relationship with Jill Zarin, which people have been discussing since Bobby’s funeral. They had that special moment at the funeral and have been in touch a lot ever since. That has sparked people making assumptions that the two are bestfriends again. Then people thought Bethenny didn’t truly want to be BFF again, based on some of her interviews. However; Bethenny opened up about it on WWHL and said, “I went over to her house, I took my daughter out of school early to kind of just explain to her what sitting shiva was and a little bit about death and how you kind of support someone. We went over to her house. No one was there except Jill and Ally. I was actually there before Jill got back, she was going to the bank. She was probably going to the bank to cash all Bobby’s checks he left her. She was coming right back, and I surprised her. We had a nice conversation. She said to me, the first thing when she walked in, she said, ‘I begged Bobby to fix it. Fix it with Bethenny. Call her Fix it.’ And Bobby, who never said no to her, said, ‘No Jill. You have to figure it out yourself. You have to learn the lesson because you were wrong.’ So it was amazing that she kind of said that to me.”

She summed it up, “We had a really nice conversation. It was nice to hangout with Ally. It was nice for Bryn to meet Jill. It was all really nice and I knew it was making her feel really good in a difficult time. So it felt really, just positive.”

I think it’s really compassionate of Bethenny to be supportive of both Luann and Jill. She has had good times with these women, but there have also been feisty feuds. Bethenny could easily throw all of this in Luann’s face, and gloat, but she doesn’t. You don’t judge people when they are down and going through a hard time. The way people deal with tough situations is what truly defines them. I’m hoping that Bethenny and Jill will head towards that super close friendship they once had. I loved when they were besties in the earlier seasons. I definitely think it will take time, but it is totally possible.

Watch the Ladies of RHOBH Try and Prepare for a Potluck!

Out of all of the franchises, RHOBH has by far the poshest of ladies. LVP and Dorit are two of the most luxury loving housewives from any of the cities, or seasons for that matter!

New girl Teddi Mellencamp has had a hard time fitting in as she describes herself as a ‘laid back chick’ who would drink beer out of a red solo cup instead of dissecting a champagne glass vs. a wine glass. For this reason, when Teddi invited the ladies to her Dana Point beach house, she came off as a bit self conscious even offering a nearby hotel if the ladies would be more comfortable.

It didn’t stop there though. Not only does her beach house have – gasp! – twin beds but she even proposed a good old fashioned potluck dinner. Imagining these caviar loving ladies lugging their crock pots to a potluck is pretty funny in my opinion, and luckily we will get to see it next week!

In a Bravo sneak peek, we get a preview of the BH divas getting ready for Teddi’s potluck and it turns out just how you would expect: No one brings anything. My favorite is Erika who she mentions that she left her Jell-O salad at home. You know – the one with the tiny marshmallows? View the clip below and let us know what you think:

RHONJ Recap – Secrets Revealed!

It’s time for secrets revealed my friends – and I’m hoping it’s finally revealed why this season was so bad (kidding – not really.)

We start off at the reunion (oh joy) with a viewer calling Joe Gorga out on his misogynistic view points. We find out the difference in parenting styles between the sister in laws is because Tre wasn’t allowed to do anything while Melissa was allowed to do everything. For that reason Tre is more lenient while Melissa doesn’t want her children to make the same mistakes that she did.

We see a flashback with the Gorga and Giudice children dying Easter eggs and it’s pretty cute. I love seeing the fun family events and wish this past season had more of this fun/family vibe vs. toxic arguments. We move over to Siggy’s family and a celebration for her father. Siggy is the queen of cakes and makes an amazing cake for her father including some of the books that he has written. I love Siggy’s parents and have so much respect for her fathers work.

Back to the reunion and Andy gives a special shout of to the OG of the Garden state. Tre reflects on her difficult year and states that all of the ladies were there for her and helped her through everything. In the flashbacks we get a taste of the ladies gossiping about dating along with ‘pleasuring’ themselves. Yeah – thanks for that girls!

Keeping on with that theme, the ladies apparently went salsa dancing to help Tre with her ‘frustrations.’ I’m not sure why the ladies were so obsessed with Teresa’s sex life this season but it seems to be a reoccurring theme. Moving on to the ladies who lunch we see Siggy defending Dolores boyfriend who is constantly MIA. Dolores claims to be in love; however her statement seems forced (because she is still in love with Frank.)

On the reunion couch Andy asks Dolores and Siggy if they ever fight which they claim they do. Without a doubt the two are ‘thick as thieves’ however some viewers think they have each others back a little too much. I get always wanting to support your bestie but I do think it’s okay to disagree once in awhile. Dolores claims she calls out Siggy, especially with social media and I have to agree that it’s too much. Melissa states that the haters on social media will destroy your life and that’s the understatement of the season. It’s also pointed out that Siggy and Margaret both refer to themselves in the third person and that the two may have more in common than they realize.

The two even had a few moments including Siggy’s photo shoot for her 50th birthday. It’s almost weird to see them getting along and I think the show would have been more fun if the two actually remained playful with some fun banter. The two are extremely loud/unspoken females that always ‘go there’ so it’s a shame we never got to see that.

On to the Gorga’s restaurant and the infamous sex scene that didn’t make the cut (but AllAboutTRH exclusively broke!) I’m shocked this didn’t make the season considering #CakeGate made the freaking cut. Apparently the ladies think this is normal minus Dolores who thinks it’s gross (and I agree.) If I ever go to Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza I will NOT be using the bathroom. Yeah..no thanks! Keeping on the restaurant themes we see Joe Gorga and Frank having a beer and talking about Frank moving back in with Dolores. Joey can’t believe the two live under the same room with no benefits as Tarzan no comprende. Frank says some great things about Dolores and I wish the two would just get back together. They seem a better fit that Dolores and her current beau.

The ladies are back on the couch talking about sex and Siggy spills that her 18 year old is doing it and that she buys him condoms. I’m sure poor Joshua is cringing and probably gave his mom an earful after announcing that to millions of viewers. Tre states she wants to be as open with her children and we see a clip of her and Milania on vacation doing some mother/daughter bonding. Tre shares a letter from Joe and she tears up thinking about her hubby. Gia looks forward to her father returning and I think Joe will come out a changed person.

Back in the Garden state, Dolores and her mother are having a healthy lunch as Dolores worries about her mother’s health. Dolores is trying to get her poor mother on board with the most up to date health trends and it’s apparent her mother is very old school and uncomfortable. On the other side of town Melissa and Joey are working at their restaurant trying to find a hostess. Melissa wants to hire a hostess but Joey wants to hire a hot-ness. Joey couldn’t be happier with his pick of finalists as it looks like a NJ bikini competition. If I were Melissa I would hit him upside the head but that’s just me…

We get a little glimpse into Danielle’s engagement and find out that she’s having a huge bridal party and that Teresa will be one of her maids of honor (her daughters being the other two.) Not trying to be skeptical over here but do you think she’s having the cast of RHONJ in her wedding to secure a full time place on RHONJ next season?? We also get to see her engagement which is sweet and I’m also shocked this didn’t make the official cut. Once again…we spent a season arguing about cake but an engagement is left out??

Last but not least we get a little convo about the craziest places that the ladies have ‘sealed the deal.’ For Melissa it was a crowded movie theater (not sure how you can pull that off) and Tre’s was in Punta Cana on the beach which is where Milania was conceived. Marge was apparently part of the mile high club which was apparently pretty technical due to being such a tight space. There’s a great visual for ya!

Well that’s a wrap Bravo fans! Personally I thought the scenes that were deleted where better than the entire season.

Is Brandi Glanville Returning to Reality TV to “Wreak Havoc on a Few People??”

Brandi left RHOBH after it was rumored that other cast mates refused to film with her – so is she coming back?

Well, good news for Brandi fans as the B is coming back to reality TV – just not RHOBH! Brandi will be joining the cast of Celebrity Big Brother in addition to Omarosa Manigault, Shannon Elizabeth, Mark McGrath and others. Brandi may have a leg up on the competition as she formerly competed in the U.K.’s Celebrity Big Brother last summer.

Despite getting a new gig, Brandi still has her eye on holding that Bravo Diamond as she hinted she would like to return to the popular show. While promoting the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother show, Brandi answered “absolutely” when asked if she would like to return to RHOBH.

“If I’m asked back to Housewives, I would definitely go back and wreak some havoc on a few people. “ Glanville said to TV Guide.

Although she didn’t specify who she would be wrecking havoc on I’m thinking it’s LVP and Kyle Richards as she seems to talk about them whenever she can.

Despite her desire to come back, I don’t see it happening, especially due to her response. Reportedly Bravo felt that Brandi was starting drama to secure her place on the show and wanted something more authentic. By saying she would come back for the sole purpose of ‘wreaking havoc’ doesn’t exactly scream authentic.

Welcome back to the 9021-oh!

We start off this episode with Erika and Kyle shopping Pretty Woman-esque. Erika informs us that that her hubby is healing nicely which is great as he is the Richard Gere to her Julia Roberts. PK’s party comes up and Erika admits she is enjoying Dorit despite their issues last season (well that’s one friend for you Dorit!) Over at the Hamlin/Rinna estate, Lisa is looking at her acting options including returning to Days of Our Lives and guest starring in The Middle. Rinna hustles like no hustler has ever hustled, including selling Dusters on QVC and wearing adult diapers. Apparently hustling is stressful as she can’t think of adding a puppy to her plate.

Over with the Beverly Hills equestrian club we see Rinna and Teddi bonding over their horses. The ladies lunch which includes Ken the Butler bringing food on a tray. The hellish spa day comes up which was so bad that no she doesn’t want to invite the ladies to her Dana Point Beach House. Teddi is still pissed that Dorit complained about her champagne glass but for some reason won’t tell LVP which lady it was. Spill the tea Teddi!

Speaking of Ms. Pretentious herself, we are moved over to watching Dorit look at venues at PK’s party of the year. Between the caviar and the helicopter we hear that Dorit plans on singing at the party (because she totally wants to be Erika Jayne.) The topic of the champagne glass comes up and LVP is trying to pretend she is NOT stirring the pot (yeah keep telling yourself that.) Dorit thinks Teddi may not be on the same social level and if that’s true I’ll take Teddi’s social status any day.

Kyle and Teddi are dining with their hot Latin husbands and Kyle was really testing her friendship with Teddi as she arrives late. Teddi tells a cute story abut her husband meeting her father (John Effing Mellencamp) and the two couples really seem to bond. Both Mauricio and Edwin speak Spanish and both of their wives find it sexy. What else do you need to bond over?

Back at Casa Richards/Umansky Kyle is freaking out as her very expensive renovations aren’t being done correctly. Rinna comes over and they discuss Teddi’s invitation to her beach house which was an awkward invitation at best. Teddi is obviously intimidated by the wealth of some of these ladies and I don’t blame her. Between Rose Gold Bentley’s and private planes I wouldn’t feel like I fit in either. Remember – her dad was just a good ol’ Indiana boy from the heartland and there’s nothing wrong with that!

Dorit is practicing her ‘Fever’ routine and who better to help her out with her Cabaret act than Mikey and Erika Jayne. Erika gives Dorit some good advice (because girl needs it) and I’m loving Mikey and Boy George in the mix as well. We get a flashback scene as apparently Mikey has helped Gretchen Rossi and all I can say is I would take Dorit over Gretchen any day (and that’s saying something!)

Dorit and PK are getting ready for his surprise 007 birthday and I’ll I’m noticing is Dorit’s boobs. Did she get them ‘enhanced’ after last season?? The party is beyond extravagant as it involves two yachts, a helicopter and surprise British guests. Despite Dorit planning the most expensive party on the planet she didn’t plan to have a walkway that ladies with heels can comfortably navigate. The entrance is very complicated but the surprise is well worth it. I’m no PK fan but seeing him tear up at the sight of his parents was heart warming.

Dorit and her boobs are nervous about singing and I’m nervous for her. There is nothing more uncomfortable than watching a terrible singer try to perform. Erika gives her some good advice and I’m actually really liking their friendship. The moment of truth is here and it’s okay….not great but not cringe worthy. Luckily she has Boy George’s vocals to carry her through it.

The party is pretty spectacular with entertainers, champagne (in the right glasses) and casino games. Things are going great….too great…so Bravo has to shake things up. Dorit grabs Teddi to talk outside about glasses…freaking champagne glasses. If I’m Dorit and I spent this much money on a party the last thing I would do is ruin it by picking a fight. Kyle and LVP smell an argument and come over to investigate. LVP backs Dorit then Kyle is Team Dorit. We are arguing about glasses at an amazing party so I think it’s proof these ladies are spoiled with too much money.

All in all I think Dorit looks beyond crazy and good luck to her at the reunion trying to justify it.

Kenya Moore Celebrates Her Birthday With A Trip To Egypt!

Kenya Moore just got the best birthday present ever!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently celebrated her 47th birthday, with a whirlwind trip to Egypt. What could be better than seeing one of the seven wonders of the world? Nothing! Kenya posted a photo on Instagram, of her posing with her husband, Marc Daly, in front of the historically famous pyramids. The two lovebirds went sight seeing in Cairo and, of course, had to see the Great Pyramid, the Great Sphinx of Giza, and King Khufu’s tomb in person. She wrote, “Never in a million years did I think I’d actually visit Egypt . I’ve long romanticized about visiting this historically rich country-which is the first wonder of the world- and with my husband. Thank you for the most amazing birthday gift of my life!”

She called her vacation to the desert the “trip of a lifetime.” It was a trip suited for royalty.

Kenya won the title of Miss USA back in 1993, and she is still being treated like a Queen. Before she revealed the location of their exotic vacation, she posted a photo of flowers, balloons, and a birthday cake. Just a few of her sweet birthday gifts! She captioned it with a teaser, “Where in the world am I?”

Egypt is on my bucket list, just like it was on Kenya’s. I’m so glad that they got to travel there. It’s the perfect way to celebrate another year of life, in my opinion. Plus, being that Kenya and Marc just got married this past summer – I think it’s a great trip to embark on as newlyweds!
