Let’s Discuss! Was Bethenny Frankel’s Cinco de Mayo Photo Offensive??

RHONY’s Bethenny Frankel may have made her millions by selling margaritas; however she’s definitely no expert (and frankly a little tone deaf) when it comes to celebrating the Mexican culture.

Bethenny recently celebrated Cinco de Mayo as, naturally, the Skinnygirl loves herself some tequila. Unfortunately for the B, she decided to dress up with accessories that stereotype the Mexican culture and many found offensive. Bethenny’s Cinco de Mayo gear include a large fake mustache, an over sized sombrero, maracas and even had her dogs taking part in the photo shoot:

Many fans found the photo offensive with comments including that she should take it down and that for someone who claims to be so sensitive to other cultures, she was being a hypocrite. We all remember how hard she was on Luann for her Diana Ross getup, don’t we?

Bethenny must have seen their side as the post has since been removed. For someone who loves to give others a hard time and who has visited Mexico numerous times you think she would have known better. My main issue with Bethenny is that she has a ‘holier than thou’ mentality, yet still is tone deaf with a lot of her posts. This isn’t Bethenny’s first offense as she was previously criticized for wearing her daughters Brynn’s pajamas (something which she claimed she didn’t understand the hoopla surrounding it.) Hopefully by taking down the photo Bethenny is admitting that she doesn’t really “know it all!”

The Real Housewives of Potomac were in the house! Karen Huger, the fabulous and glamorous star of the show, graced the Bravo clubhouse with her presence. The stars of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Karen Huger, and Candiace Dillard stopped by Watch What Happens Live to dish on RHOP with Andy Cohen. The RHOP can get a little crazy, and they always bring the sass. What can I say – they are outspoken? Andy didn’t hold back, he asked them very personal questions and they answered. They were spilling the tea, and sipping the tea. Candiace is engaged, and we know how she feels about her fiance from the show. What did Candiace’s future husband think of her talking about his masculine parts? She said back, “He’s used to the extra-ness that is Candiace. So it was just par for the course.” Candiace added, “He got over it.” They are planning a wedding, and I’m sure we’ll be hearing about it a lot on the show. Recently there has been a lot of gossip about Karen Huger’s finances. Apparently, they had issues with taxes and they were in debt. Karen had called her husband the “black Bill Gates.” However; their personal finances have been under scrutiny lately. So, is she still loaded? Karen said, “Thank God I’m still debt free and loaded in gifts of many ways.” She joked, “First coins, wallet, chicklets, you name it. I got it.” However; she is still not close with Gizelle Bryant. In fact, they think she has “issues.” Karen thinks that she’s waiting to stab everyone she calls a ‘friend’ in the back. However; although Karen said she doesn’t love Gizelle – she said she actually does like her. Perhaps these two will become great friends one day. Stranger things have happened. In the meantime, Karen and newbie Candiace are really hitting it off. She referred to her as “fun” and “fabulous” on Instagram.
Did Candiace feel ‘betrayed’ by Monique Samuels for not prepping her better for RHOP? No! Candiace explained, “No, I think Monique did the best she could to prepare me for this group. There’s only so much that you can say. You just kind of have to go through it.” Candiace made it through though. She added, “I came out, I’m still here.” I think people either love or hate RHOP. I happen to like it! I think they are entertaining and I’m excited to see what they bring to the table in the future. We’ll have to stay tuned! Watch this clip of Karen & Candiace discussing RHOP:

RHONY OG’S: Are Bethenny Frankel & Jill Zarin Still Keeping In Touch?!

Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin are the OG Real Housewives of New York!

During the debut and earlier seasons of The Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin were the best of friends. They were pretty much inseparable and were always allies. Then they hit some bumps in the road and the timing was always off when they wanted to reconcile and apologize. Now on the current season of RHONY right now, Bethenny and her new RHONY BFF, Carole Radziwill, are having a shift. However; Bethenny is back in contact on a regular basis with her former BFF – Jill Zarin.

So have they still really been keeping in touch? “We have, and it’s nice,” Bethenny revealed on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The two got back in contact when Bethenny showed her support for Jill at the funeral of Jill’s late husband – Bobby Zarin. The two ladies had things put into perspective, and it mended their relationship big time. Bethenny explained, “I mean, she’ll text me, and we have a nice sort of interaction. It’s clean, which is what I wanted it to be.”

It’s not just Bethenny that Jill is keeping in touch with from RHONY – she also got closer to Ramona Singer again. Plus, she’s always been close with the Countess – LuAnn De Lesseps. As far as the original cast goes, these Bravo beauties are all getting along great these days!

I’m genuinely happy to see that these two are keeping in touch. I liked their friendship during the earlier seasons of RHONY. It was a bummer when they couldn’t make up for a long time. I truly like both Bethenny and Jill. I hope we start seeing more of them together on the show. Time heals all wounds and I think that they are on the right track back to a solid friendship. Right now they are both at peace – which is exactly what they both need!

Erika Girardi is baaack on The Young and the Restless!

Erika Girardi AKA pop star Erika Jayne is going to be reprising her role on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless. She first appeared on the soap opera back in 2016, thanks to her former RHOBH costar – Eileen Davidson. Eileen just won her second daytime Emmy award for her role on the long running soap. Now we get to see Erika and Eileen back in Genoa City, during the iconic soap operas 44th season. Erika is going to be appearing as her character, Farrah Dubose, the sassy and sexy realtor.

Erika Girardi's Returning To 'The Young And The Restless' This Summer!

According to E! viewers can expect Erika’s role as Farrah to interact with some of the show’s most notable power players when she’s hired to help someone in town find a new bachelor pad. Her episodes are set to air on Monday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 6. She will be appearing in two episodes.

I cannot wait to watch Erika back on the soap opera! I’m super excited that Erika and Eileen get to reunite and work together again. I’d love it if Eileen made her return to RHOBH next. (Although it was nice that she made an appearance this season.) Since they aren’t in Beverly Hills together on RHOBH anymore, at least we get to see them together in Genoa City. I’m sure Erika will be as fierce as ever! Woohoo we have something to look forward to in June.

Bethenny Frankel Responds To Carole Radziwill’s Comments!

The Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill saga continues!

Bethenny Frankel recently appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, and had the chance to respond to Carole Radziwill’s comments that Carole made on an earlier WWHL appearance. Carole claimed that everything Bethenny says about her is “not true.” The two have had a shift in their friendship this season on RHONY. Andy Cohen, of course, played the video clip for Bethenny to watch so that we could get her live reaction. Bethenny seemed to be very surprised.

Bethenny responded, “Well, I think saying ‘everything Bethenny says about me is not true,’ I think this audience would disagree with that – because everything I say is always true.”

“I hadn’t really been talking about Carole in my interviews. I said there was a shift, and there was. When you come onto a show, and you have so many people involved in it – it becomes bigger,” Bethenny explained. She added, “I wanted it to dissolve and it got more intense.” Apparently it’s going to get even more intense as the season goes on. Bethenny also discussed that she feels that the way you react to something, is as important as the initial something that it was about.

Plus, Bethenny revealed that she actually did invite Carole to stay with her at her house in the Hamptons. Carole ended up staying with Tinsley, which was fine because Bethenny had her daughter and Dennis staying with her at her home. Bethenny doesn’t have cameras around when her daughter is there and her daughter isn’t allowed to film for the show. (This is due to the fact that Bethenny is going through a lot of drama with her ex-husband.)

Bethenny summed up, “So we had a shift, that I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. But everything I said, was what was going on. There had been a little bit of a shift.”

I do agree with what Bethenny said about their shift being bigger because they are on a reality television show together. There are a lot of people invested in the relationships and friendships of the ladies, because cameras are often rolling. I don’t think that the shift is a big deal, I think it’s a natural part of life. Sometimes that happens when you’re going in a different direction, and are evolving as a person overall. I do think that Bethenny and Carole will remain friends. I don’t think the shift this season will be long term. We’ll have to stay tuned!

RHOBH: Kyle Richards Asks Fans To Help Find Her Stolen Property!

Kyle Richards went through a traumatic and emotional experience, when there was a huge break-in at her mansion in California back in December while she was on vacation with family in Aspen. Over $1 million dollars in jewelry was stolen, along with all of her designer handbags. Kyle has recently revealed that none of the stolen items have been recovered. She shared at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, “Everything except what I had on my body” was taken.

According to Bravo, Kyle also shared that none of the stolen items have been recovered. Recently fans suggested on Twitter that Kyle should look in places like local jewelry shops in case her stolen items are being sold there, she agreed and asked fans for help. Kyle tweeted, “If anyone happens to recognize something of mine, please let me know.” She added, “Could be online, pawnshops, resale shops.”

Kyle explained that “what hurts the most” about the burglary is that many of the items that were stolen were passed down to her by her late mother, Kathleen Richards. “I wanted to pass them down to my girls,” Kyle said. It’s more emotional for her because these were family heirlooms. Kyle’s niece, Paris Hilton, also experienced a home burglary a few years back – that resulted in her family jewels being stolen as well. That incident, and the press coverage surrounding it, inspired Sofia Coppola’s film ‘The Bling Ring.’

Kyle revealed at the reunion that she is still very shook up about the invasion, so much that she is not sure if she and her family will remain at their new house in Encino. Kyle shared, “After we were burglarized, it really rocked my world, you know, having things taken from me. Hopefully, I’m gonna get past it and it’s gonna be amazing. I have spoken to so many people who were burglarized who have been burglarized, and they get over it and are fine and it’s a beautiful house. We’ll see, but I don’t know yet.”

I feel for Kyle. I hope she gets her family heirlooms recovered. It’s very sad and emotional when things that belong to your loved ones are taken and you don’t know where they are – it’s hard. I’m glad Kyle is staying strong for her family. Their new home is beautiful! Sending you lots of love, Kyle!

Furthermore, Kandi says it’s not fair to blame Andy for all the shade the Housewives throw at each other.

Even though Kandi does admit that Andy is one of the best at knowing when and how to throw shade.

According to Kandi the shade and the drama are all part of the game and everyone involved is willing to play.

Vanderpump Rules: Did Jax Taylor Take That Job In Florida?!

Vanderpump Rules just aired the season 6 finale this week and in it we saw Lisa Vanderpump let bartender Jax Taylor go!

According to Jax, though, he needed to leave SUR. Although he loved his time filming Vanderpump Rules, he explained to Bravo, “We are family at the end of the day. We’ve all been friends for 10, 15 years. So yeah, it’s gonna suck not going to work every day and not seeing my friends because it wasn’t like work. I enjoyed going. I liked going.” Jax feels like life will be a lot less stressful now, though. Jax said, “At the same time, it’s less stress because now I don’t have to deal with any of this, the murmurs, the noises, and I don’t have to hear about it.” He added, “I can start fresh, which I need to do.”

One of the biggest questions all season long had to do with Jax Taylor’s job offer in Tampa, Florida. According to Jax, that offer “was 100% real.” He didn’t take the job though, due to the death of his father. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Jax said, “The only thing that stopped me from doing it was the timing. I just lost my father, and the reason I was going to Florida, the main reason, obviously I love the hockey, and I got the opportunity, but the main reason was to be closer to my father. Once he passed away, I just didn’t want anything to do with Florida.”

On the bright side, even after the cheating and drama – he still has his beautiful girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, by his side. Jax beamed, “I am blessed enough to have the most amazing lady in my life along with great friends.”

Condolences to Jax! I have to say, I think that Jax and Brittany make a cute couple. She seems super sweet and down-to-earth. I can’t believe he cheated on her, but hopefully he doesn’t do anything like that ever again. It seems like he’s committed now and she’s willing to give him another chance, so hopefully all goes well. I can’t picture him not bartending at SUR but we’ll have to see what happens. Stay tuned for the Pump Rules reunion!

Jersey Girls: Danielle Staub Says Friendship With Teresa Giudice Is “Stronger Than Ever”

Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice are on the best of terms!

Back in the earlier days of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, these two Jersey Girls had a roller coaster ride of a friendship. They started out friendly and had a good time together. However; things quickly changed and Danielle and Teresa became enemies. They had shouting matches and didn’t see eye to eye. Season one ended with the infamous table flip by Teresa Giudice – which became an iconic ‘Real Housewives’ moment. Teresa was upset with Danielle for upsetting her best friend, Dina Manzo. Teresa was also upset with the things Danielle had been saying and doing. Danielle on the other hand, was mad that the women were bringing up a book she’s mentioned in that highlights her troubled past. Danielle ended up leaving RHONJ after two seasons. However; she is back on the show now and Teresa and Danielle are the best of friends!

In 2016 Teresa and Danielle started doing yoga together. Everyone was shocked to see the photos that proved that these two had reunited and were better than ever. Talk about being zen! That was when everybody started questioning if Danielle was making her return to the garden state.

According to Daily Mail, Danielle stated, “We speak more than once a day. We’re legitimately friends, it was something that was worth salvaging and has turned into the relationship it should have always been.” Apparently Danielle feels that it was people on the show who got in the way. (Presumably she is referring to Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo.) Danielle explained, “When people got in the way of it, we’re not letting people get in the way of it no more. 100% It’s a lot stronger.” Danielle feels that nobody can come between them ever again. She added, “I pity the fool who tries to come in and tear us down. We would welcome that challenge. I don’t think anyone wants to see me and Teresa take opposite sides. I think the world wants to see Teresa and I standing side by side, showing people what a real friendship looks like because we’ve been through the f***ing storm and back.”

They first started to reconcile when Teresa’s mother was ill. Danielle said, “I genuinely was reaching out multiple times a day sending nothing but love, light and friendship, a shoulder, prayers.” That is what true friendship is all about! Danielle explained, “You have to really be there if you care for your friends. You know who your friends are in those times and I don’t drop that ball ever, it’s too important to me.”

Danielle was adamant that the fallout with Teresa was because of other people, and that neither one of them knew what they were even fighting about. Danielle questioned, “Was is it really because of each other, or was it because of other people? We realized now that nobody can take that away from us. She’s really important to me and to the rest of my journey. I genuinely love her and care for her family.”

I personally am very happy that these two are back to being friends! They had a rocky road but it looks like from here on out – it’ll be smooth sailing. The earlier seasons of RHONJ were super entertaining to watch because it was craziness, but it’s better to see these two getting along. I’m glad they are both being strong women and supporting one another. I’m glad that Danielle is back on RHONJ. I hope we get to keep seeing her friendship with Teresa played out on the show. Plus, Teresa is set to be in the wedding and it’s likely that the wedding is being filmed for Bravo! We’ll have to watch it then loves!

Bethenny Frankel is ready to say buh-bye to Real Housewives of New York, according to OK! Magazine.

It turns out that Bethenny is ready to dump RHONY and the feeling is mutual.

Insiders claim that Bethenny threatens to quit the show every year but this time she’s being real about it.

In the past producers have scrambled to keep the Skinny Girl mogul on board but they and the other Housewives are sick of her diva attitude and are ready to let her walk away.

Yikes.

I don’t see Bethenny going anywhere on RHONY. The B is staying put.
