Were only two episode into this season of the RHONJ and already friendships and relationships are floundering. So what’s going on? Let’s recap!
First up NJ OG Danielle Staub and former friend (and newbie to NJ) Margaret Josephs.) It started out as the calm before the storm; with Danielle describing how she felt that she and Dolores are not meant to be friends; however then did a classic Danielle 180 when Margaret revealed that the two were now buddies. Danielle turned into a 12 year old basically telling Margaret that if she didn’t like Dolores, Margaret can’t either. Danielle then turned back into ‘season 1 Danielle’ and really hit below the belt bringing up Margaret’s affair – ouch! Watch the clip below and see for yourself:
That wasn’t the only drama in episode 2 as we saw Papa Gorga throw back some drinks and tell his son what he really thinks (honestly I loved it!) Nonno believes that his only son should be around more after losing his mother and while his brother in law is “away.” Personally I think Joe should be helping out more as well and spending more time with his father more; however Joe Gorga just laughed it off which will be a sore subject between Tre and her brother and sister in law. Taking it one step further, Teresa’s eldest Gia ended up getting involved and let her uncle Joey know that he needed to man up and make one designated day for Nonno per week. While this sounds reasonable, Joe Gorga didn’t seem to grasp that his father actually wanted to see him and thought it was just Teresa bitching at him. Even when his niece stepped in, Joey basically said he was too busy for his elderly father. Am I the only one who was appalled at this scene with the Gorgas??
