Well there’s no love lost in the OC between Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd!
The episode came to a fever pitch when Kelly revealed how much Vicki’s coke allegations affected her and in her turn her daughter as people in the OC talk!
While asking Jolie to be the face of skin care products geared towards children of divorced parents (that product needs a blog post of it’s own – I can’t get into it now) the conversation turned into Jolie revealing the social media bullying she received after Vicki’s allegations:
Kelly naturally was infuriated that these allegations were out there and got back to her daughter and refused to talk to Vicki at Tamra’s party as a result. Vicki, in her delusional world, thinks that because Kelly commented on her looks it would be okay for her to throw drug use accusations out there as in Vicki’s world that’s equivalent. I don’t think it’s okay to criticize women’s looks; however drug allegations (especially for a mother) are serious and can have consequences. I also find it funny that out of everything Vicki has been accused of over the years (lying, cancer scams etc) it’s comments on her appearance that really seem to set her over the edge.
The two acted like two school girls in a fight with Tamra trying to make peace between the two however Kelly wouldn’t budge. Take a look for yourself then tell us what you think:
I do think both are in the wrong and both know how to go way below the belt so there are no winners here. Kelly criticizing Vicki’s looks is mean and juvenile; however Vicki accusing Kelly of drugs could have serious consequences. At the end of the day I think the reason the two of them don’t get along is because they are both alike and therefore know how and where to hit.
