RHOBH Reunion Part 1 Recap!

Well made it to the reunion ladies and gentlemen! It’s been quite a season and I think we’re all ready to hash it out (what else do we have to do during quarantine?)

The ladies all look fab but Dorit gets my vote for best dressed. She may be in quarantine but she never fails to disappoint!

Garcelle is first in the hot seat and the main focus is her relationship with Kyle which takes front and center. Apparently Kyle is the only one who didn’t realize her and Garcelle weren’t BFF’s despite Garcelle making it clear all season. Garcelle clarified the WWHL comment was a drunk and innocent quip; however sticks to her story that Kyle glazes over her comments which the other ladies agree with. Kyle then retaliates accusing Garcelle of not paying her charity bid; however Garcelle denies it so adamantly that I believe her. Garcelle discusses being the first black housewife in Beverly Hills and admits that the ladies were probably afraid to argue with her as they didn’t want to appear racist and that she felt a lot of pressure to represent her community in a positive light. All in all, I’ve enjoyed Garcelle in her freshman season and hope she returns. Garcelle also gets a gold star from Erika as she was the first woman to reach out and ensure that her police officer son was doing okay during the riots – props to Garcelle as that was an amazing outreach and she has known Erika for the least amount of time.

Sutton joins the group and hashes out her differences with Dorit who attempts to apologize; however Sutton seems to not be having it until changing her mind suddenly and accepts Dorit’s apology out of nowhere. At the end of the day, the ladies like to be friends with Sutton as she gives amazing gifts, has amazing gift bags and invites the ladies on private plane – so if she has a faux pas you know all will be forgiven in time. All the ladies seem to have grown warm to Sutton, minus Teddi who is still upset that she insulted her black romper and called her boring. Sutton admits that she tried too hard at the beginning but felt more natural towards the end and I have to agree that by the end of the season I was a Sutton fan.

We (finally) get to Denise Richards who should get the MVP award of this season as 90% of the drama revolved around her. Andy goes in hot on Denise calling her out on lies and is it just me or are Denise eyes really red for the reunion? Either she is constantly on the verge of tears or she needs some Visine. Erika then goes in on Denise for pulling her aside and singling her out for being crude at the family BBQ. Erika then deflects her comments regarding Denise’s daughters having threesome stating it was about teenagers in general and not her daughters (which I’m not buying for a second.) I thought the comment was awful and the fact that Erika didn’t apologize for it is not cool. I feel bad for Denise as she is getting is pretty bad and fortunately Kyle jumps in to say that she understands why Denise didn’t want her daughters to hear those comments. Thank goodness she has some nice allies as between Erika and Rinna are brutal. Yikes. Wow.

Kyle Richards Shows off Her Abs in Sexy Bikini Shot!

Four kids later and Kyle Richards still has it going on!

The brunette beauty of RHOBH was feeling herself in her latest Instagram post – and if I looked like that during quarantine, I would be posting it too!

Kyle took to Instagram stating: “Felt cute, might delete later …” while wearing a white bikini and shades in a mirror selfie photo. Obviously she decided against the latter as the bombshell photo was still up, most likely due to the positive feedback and encouragement that she received. Take a look at the snapshot for yourself:

I don’t know what Kyle has been doing during quarantine but mine has involved a lot of Netflix and carbs. Clearly Kyle has a different plan that seems to be working for her much better than mine is. Kyle’s fellow housewives thought the same as Dorit responded with three of the ‘fire’ emojis while RHOC’s Shannon Beador commented, saying that she looked “amazing.”

Hopefully Kyle carried that same confidence into the reunion, as from the looks of the previews, it’s going to get brutal.

The RHOBH part one reunion will air this Wednesday at 9/8 CST on Bravo.

Let’s Discuss the RHOBH Season 10 Finale Episode: Denise and Desist!

We’ve made it to the finale of RHOBH and what a season it’s been! We’ve had rumors of some girl on girl action, Roman rumbles and now we have a cease and desist. It’s been a roller coaster ride so how will we cap it off?

Like any good ending to a season of housewives, we have the obligatory party, this time around it’s being thrown at Dorit and PK’s home. We all secretly know that PK volunteered his home so he can secretly get a front and center seat to all the drama. You know if there were a real husbands show – he would be front and center holding that diamond:

 

With the night of Dorit’s party among us, Garcelle and Chocolate Michael are going to pick up Denise Richards; however poor Garcelle is stood up. She almost looks like a high school girl at a homecoming dance going to pick up their date then getting stood up when she’s all dressed up. I’ve been fair, and even defended Denise all season, so to see her back out like this is disappointing. She’s not doing herself any favors by lying to get out of a party unless she really has something to hide. Garcelle seems to know this as well as she knows how this is going to look for Denise and is sad for her friend:

 

It turns out it was for the best that Denise didn’t come as spoiler alert: Brandi attended (to the shock of absolutely no one.) We all know that Brandi showing up was just as planned as her being in the car when Kim stopped by Kyle’s. I do have to give props to Dorit who was a gracious hostess even to Brandi who was incredibly rude to her when they met. Maybe Kim should have read the room and brought a different plus one?

Sutton tries to give Brandi some good old southern charm lessons by telling Brandi to do what she wants but be discreet; however, Brandi isn’t having it. Lesson learned? If you don’t want something to be on reality TV, don’t have anything to do with Brandi because she lives for this:

 

The climax of the entire episode is when Denise and Rinna meet face to face to discuss their dysfunctional friendship and Denise’s shady behavior the previous night. Denise admits that she lied about a family emergency as she didn’t want to see Brandi and have it turn into a Jerry Springer moment. I do agree with Rinna that at this time the cover-up is worse than the crime. If Denise did hook up with Brandi at this point admit it was a mistake and move on. After uncovering her lie, Rinna brings up the cease and desist and the look on Denise’s face says it all: she thought she could control this entire season and she is just now realizing that she can’t. Rinna then gives one of the most memorable lines of the season saying “oooh you’re soo angry.”

 

For how much they promoted a juicy season I thought it was pretty lackluster and the editing in the finale seemed choppy and off. I will say that the reunion, despite it being virtual, looks 10x better than the finale so at least we have that to look forward to.

The RHOBH reunion will air next Wednesday at 9/8 CST.

Below Deck’s Captain Sandy Defends her Firing of Hannah After being Heavily Criticized on Social Media!

Forget the charter guests, the real drama is behind the scenes this season of Below Deck.

On a recent episode of WWHL, Captain Sandy defended firing Hannah after being attacked on social media for how she handled the situation. To give you a refresher, Hannah had a panic attack (which we’ve seen before) to which she was prescribed Valium. Being on a yacht under maritime law, Hannah needed to prove she had a prescription (which she did not) and declare it with the boat (which she did not.) Hannah also had a weed pen; however many have argued that it wasn’t the same as having weed and firing Hannah seemed a bit extreme. Hannah’s fans argued that Malia was a snitch and Captain Sandy should have given Hannah a warning as she had given previous employees warnings for smelling of alcohol while on watch.

While she didn’t address the alcohol incident, Sandy tried to silence her critics by saying that she has had charter guests with drugs in the past, but it wasn’t the same: “Sure, clients have had drugs and I’ve addressed that. I take it to the primary and go, ‘I don’t care -you can do drugs your whole life. It’s not my business. What you can’t do is have drugs on board and you need to remove them.'” Sandy continued by saying, “If my crew are doing drugs – big difference because we’re liable and that’s the bottom line. People smoke pot all over the world and people are prescribed Valium. Hannah didn’t check that in. Hannah can’t do Valium and have a job onboard – that’s not allowed because the minute you take that pill you are now my liability. You are no longer my asset and my crew are my asset in case we have an emergency.”

Sandy has been making the rounds and also recently appeared on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef where she discussed chefs and why ‘good’ just doesn’t cut it in this industry. We all know the chef situation has been a hot mess this season with fan-favorite Kiko getting fired for serving fried food which was deemed to ‘kid-like’ only to be replaced by Tom which is a disaster. Many fans thought Kiko deserved another chance as even chef Mila (aka the worst chef of all time) seemed to get a pass for more than one meal. According to Sandy:

“We’re competing with that boat and that boat – we have to compete for clients. If you just wanted to be served food in a restaurant – go to a restaurant. This is a superyacht – it has to be visceral, it has to be a theme. You have to have white-glove service. There’s so many different types of service you want the client to experience at the table to be beyond anything they’ve ever experienced. That’s really what we have to do on a superyacht to justify the kind of money they spend and they do critique us. The charter clients go back to the charter broker and say ‘never book that crew again’ or ‘I think that crew is amazing.'”

I felt for Kiko and felt that he deserved another chance. He wasn’t familiar with Vegas and only did was Hannah instructed, plus many of his past meals were a hit. As for Hannah – I feel if Sandy gave a previous deckhand a warning about alcohol it seems inconsistent to have no tolerance with Hannah. I’m not a Captain of a Super Yacht so perhaps we will get more clarification at the reunion.

RHONY Recap: Century Sonja

Hola Nueva York fans! We’re still in sunny Mexico, but it’s anything but sunshine. The ladies are supposed to be on vacation but the only thing they can talk about is who has the most anger issues. Spoiler alert: they’re all pretty unhinged.

Ramona starts things off by sending off an explosive group text trying to get Dorinda to admit that she has anger issues (which she does.) Lu tries to smooth things over; however no one wants to be lectured by Luann as let’s face it – she has no room to talk. Fortunately the ladies settle down in time for their Mexican feast; however unfortunately for the staff they have to serve Ramona and there isn’t a tip big enough in the world to make it worth it. After debating on the proper temperature on red wine, the ladies take petty to a whole new level as Leah is offended she was off the anger management text. Does she really want to be on it? I’m thankful for all the group texts that I’m left off of.

The ladies are heading back to the city the next morning and Leah wastes no time in getting back to work. I’m not familiar with Leah’s brand, MTTM but it seems to be successful so good for her! Leah admits that when she got a taste of success she thought she was going to be bringing in a million dollars; however despite changing expectations she still thinks the skies the limit for her clothing company.

While Leah works on her business, Ramona works on herself as she is seeing a psychiatrist (who just happens to be an attractive man) and Ramona can’t help but flirt with him while trying to work out her issues with men. Am I the only one who thinks that she would have more success with a female psychologist? Fortunately her therapist is patient and remains professional as Ramona unloads her various issues with men and self-sabotaging ways.

Across town, Lu is doing what Lu does best: rehearsing for her Cabaret. Apparently Sonja was supposed to be there as well; however wasn’t informed. Maybe if Lu paid her more she would have made more of an effort to be there? Also working through their issues are Leah and her mom who seem to have one of the most complicated mother/daughter relationships that I’ve seen. Leah is stuck in her teenage years trying to impress her mom and it’s clear that those years had a severe impact on their dynamic. Fortunately there is enough love between them to get through their issues; however Leah’s mom maintains she will never support Leah drinking.

The night of Sonja’s launch is here and the ladies are representing Sonja by Sonja Morgan, even Leah who was sent a dress vs. sweats and a pimp hat. No one is happier about this big night other than Sonja who is ready to prove everyone wrong, as many (myself included) never thought we would see this day. In the spirit of being a good sport, Lu shows up despite being stood up earlier; however wonders if Sonja should stay in her show. Sonja gives a speech on her line and gets emotional when talking about her journey and her girls and I can genuinely say I’m happy for her. Get it Sonja!

Movin’ on up!

Teddi Mellencamp is upgrading her living situation in a major way.

On Sunday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she and her family are in the process of buying a new mansion in Encino, CA.

The RHOBH star and her hubby Edwin Arroyave unveiled their new home to their three oldest children, Bella, 10, Slate, 7, and Cruz, 5 and gave them, and fans, a quick look at their soon-to-be home-sweet-home. The couple also shares a 5-month-old daughter named Dove.

The new construction, 8,550 foot Modern Farmhouse boasts 7 bedrooms, 8 baths, and a three-car garage.

The home also features an “elegant bar, temp-controlled wine room, game room, theater, office, magnificent chef’s kitchen.”

Teddi’s new digs include a backyard oasis that consists of a “50′ pool, spa, cabana, waterfall, massage room, putting green and basketball court.”

On top of all of that, Teddi’s new master suite boasts a “sitting room, built-in bar with fridge, incredible walk-in closet, soaking tub, and terrace.”

The Encino home is being sold by George Ouzounian and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency.

Teddi, Edwin, and their kids currently live in a $4M Hollywood Hills home that they purchased in January 2018.

Let’s Discuss RHONY: Hitting all the Wrong Cenotes

Happy Friday New York fans! We’ve made it to Friday but can the the ladies make it through Mexico? If you’re Dorinda, maybe not.

Poor Dorinda is having some bathroom problems (and we will leave it at that) and isn’t making it too far out of her bedroom and restroom area. Despite Sonja’s generous offer to get her diapers, Dorinda is down for the count. Is anyone else getting Cartagena flashbacks?!?

 

Fortunately Dorinda is able to go on an excursion and the ladies are lowered into a cave for a Mexico adventure. I’m jealous as I’ve always wanted to do this; however its the youngest and the most wild of the bunch (Leah) that seems to be the most freaked out. This is the type of scene that I love about housewives: laughter, fun and Sonja yelling out ‘You’re living the dream!’

The adventures continue as Leah and Lu meet some Canadian bachelors and invite them in for a visit. Lu and Leah are single and ready to mingle; however they are putting themselves at risk by inviting them in as Ramona can smell an eligible bachelor from a mile away. First a pirate then a French Canadian? Lu sure knows how to party while on va-cay:

It’s not all fun and games as Leah gets serious and continues to prove how bizarre she can be as she makes some revelations of her past. Let’s just say it involves an ex, a crystal egg, a bruja and sage. I’ll let you connect the dots, but in case you missed it – Ramona’s eyes say it all:

 

Personally I thought this was a fun and light episode of RHONY and enjoy to see the laughs and ridiculousness. What were your thoughts?

RHOBH Recap: That’s not Amore

Ciao bellas! We are still in Rome, and while it may be a fabulous trip Denise is on standby for the next flight out, so let’s get the scoop while we can!

The ladies are trying to determine who slept with Brandi Glanville and who is BSing. In Denise’s corner we have Garcelle and Dorit and in Brandi’s corner – we have the rest. Garcelle is the voice of reason as she questions why the ladies are believing Brandi (who loves the limelight and is not friends with the group) vs. Denise who is a supposed friend to the ladies. At this point I don’t know who to believe as Denise swore on her mother (which is sacred) although in her talking head she clarifies that she just agreed with what Brandi said vs. saying it herself (technicalities.) I don’t think Denise is being 100% honest but I’m sure Brandi is twisting the truth or exaggerating as we’ve seen it before.

Since things are bad, let’s make them worse by bringing up Rinna dancing on Instagram and how that affects her daughter Amelia and her eating disorder. I don’t think Garcelle was accusing the dancing of being the cause of Amelia’s body issues, but I think she was trying to question whether it helped or hurt the issues that were already there. The ladies are left in tears as the trip has turned very dark between Denise, Brandi and Lisa Rinna. For a Roman holiday this is pretty bleak – can we just all go back to Dolce & Gabbana and buy some crowns?

The next morning the ladies pair up depending who is getting along with who to nurse hangovers and repair relationships. Denise and Rinna meet to discuss their failing relationship and for once Denise holds her ground and stands up for herself. Rinna seems taken aback that Denise is coming for her and ends up in tears after hearing how hurt Denise is. I’m honestly shocked that ‘own it’ Rinna is breaking down in tears for being a sh**ty friend. Clearly there are larger issues here and maybe Rinna has something she needs to get to the bottom of inside herself.

To cleanse the sins of this horrible trip, the ladies decide to go to mass on Sunday while Kyle and Denise see the city on a vespa. Garcelle, Rinna, Sutton and Denise all have some Catholic roots so while in Rome how could they not see St. Peter’s square? Despite the fact that these ladies are major reality stars, at the Vatican they don’t pull a lot of weight and unfortunately are not able to get in as they thought they would be able to. Maybe Sutton should have planned this trip vs. Rinna as she seems to have the planning down to a science.

The ladies reunite for dinner, and Denise is coming guns blazing as she has prepared a speech for the ladies to tell them what she really thinks. Denise thinks that the group has done nothing but attack her and apparently she has waited until tonight to let the ladies know her true thoughts, which is that she thinks this group is nothing more than a group of mean girls. Rinna feels that this is a cheap shot as the ‘Fab Fox Five’ was labeled this last year, however now that it’s out in the open both Garcelle and Denise decide to exit stage left. I have to wonder what made this change in Denise – my thoughts are that she spoke with Aaron who gave her an earful but that’s just my speculation.

We then break the fourth wall again as production begs Denise to stay and warns her that leaving will be a huge mistake. Production is the voice of reason as she begrudgingly returns and the ladies vow to move past this (which will never happen.) Rinna tries to call a peace truce for enough time to enjoy their pizza and shockingly it works. Pizza fixes everything – doesn’t it?

Ashley Darby Reveals She’s On Monique Samuels’ Team in Feud with Candiace Dillard; Says Candiace ‘Has No Decency’

Ashley Darby is letting everyone know that she’s Team Monique Samuels when it comes to the Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 drama between Monique and Candiace Dillard.

“I’m definitely there for Monique. I check on her,” the 32-year-old tells Daily Mail Australia.

“I’ve always made it clear to Monique that I really value the woman that she is. We’ve had some issues in our friendship in the past, but when the time was really rough for me, Monique was always there for me,” she continued. “So, during that difficult time, even now, I have her back 100 percent because she really showed her loyalty to me, so I’m reciprocating that, and I am 100 percent loyal to Monique.”

Meanwhile, Ashley reveals that she’s reconciled with co-stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon after years of feuding.

However, Ashley says the same can’t be said for her ongoing feud with Candiace.

“Candiace is a woman who just doesn’t necessarily know when to stop,” she said.

“I’m not just talking in relation to what happens in the show. But also sometimes she can be persistent on social media. She doesn’t really have the instincts of when enough is enough, and it can be overwhelming for anybody,” Ashley continued.

“She really tested me last year when I was giving birth to my son on a Sunday when the show was airing, and she was just saying these horrible things about me, literally as I’m pushing a human out of my body. Like, you have no decency.”

When Ashley was giving birth to her son Dean last year, Candiace was spouting negative and nasty comments about her on Twitter.

Speaking of drama, Ashley says RHOP fans will see her stir the pot, as usual, this season, but adds that they will also see a different, more mature side of her as well.

“I always have my spoon in my back pocket just in case I need to work it out, but I did have my baby in July last year, so more so [you’ll see] my motherhood journey,” she explained.“We started filming the show when I was two months postpartum, so I was still going through it being a first-time mum.”

“I’ve been on since season one, and I’ve grown a lot as a person, and our relationships have evolved so much,” she continued. “With some new dynamics to our group, the dynamics are really interesting … We will certainly not disappoint!”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Rumor has it a new Housewife is in the mix for season 11 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

According to a recent report from the Real Housewives Franchise Instagram page, Michelle Pais will be joining the season 11 cast of RHONJ.

She was recently spotted filming with RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice.

Michelle describes herself as a “Luxury Real Estate Broker -TV personality.” She is also the CEO of the Michelle Pais Group, a luxury real estate firm in NJ.

The rumored newbie is married Jonathan Steingraver, a real estate broker. The two share a newborn baby girl named Madison Rose.

Michelle will join Teresa, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, and Jackie Goldschnider as the 7th housewife for season 11 of the RHONJ franchise.

While Michelle may be new to RHONJ, she is quite connected to several longtime cast members. Her Instagram shows that she has been friends with Teresa, Melissa, Joe, and Dolores for quite some time now.
