Bethenny Frankel Says the Real Housewives of New York ‘Became Not Who I Really Was Anymore’

Bethenny’s bashing continues.

Bethenny Frankel continues to bash the Real Housewives of New York nearly two years after leaving the franchise.

The Skinnygirl mogul appeared on the latest episode of Paris Hilton’s  “This is Paris” podcast, where she insisted she was playing a character on RHONY and that it was not who she was “anymore.”

“It became not who I really was anymore … it’s just not what I wanted to be doing anymore,” Bethenny confessed.

She then elaborated, saying, “I didn’t want to be arguing about things that didn’t really matter anymore. It’s changed. I was there in the beginning when it was something that none of us really even knew what it was.”

“And now it’s something that … people have a preconceived notion about it, and they know what’s going to happen.”

“I mean, how many charity events can we go to?” she continued. “How many friends can we not support on vacations, and how much drama do we want to avoid and then go right into the drama on the vacation. So … the time had come.”

According to Bethenny, she initially joined RHONY  because she was “broke and didn’t have anything to lose.” She then returned for season 7 after Bravo tossed a lot of money her way to come back to the show.

A source previously noted that Bethenny had “one foot out the door” during negotiations with Bravo for season 9, which is when she tossed out an out-of-this-world salary request to see if the network would bite – they didn’t. Bethenny then announced her exit from the show so quickly that producers weren’t even aware of the news until they saw it on social media. Yikes.

I LOVE Bethenny. She’s one of my favorite Housewives, but I don’t get why she continues to bash her time on Bravo – no one was forcing her to do the show. Doesn’t she have anything else to talk about?

REPORT: Amelia Hamlin Is ‘Not Bothered’ by Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s Relationship

Amelia Hamlin may be nearly two decades younger than boyfriend Scott Disick, but she’s reportedly not concerned about his close relationship with ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian.

“Amelia’s not bothered by Kourtney,” a source told Us Weekly on Friday, April 9. “Scott and Amelia have been enjoying spending a lot of time together and hanging out with their friends. Their relationship has been heating up, and you can totally tell they’re serious.”

The 19-year-old model and KUWTK star were first spotted together at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party in October 2020. They became Instagram official on Valentine’s Day 2021.

Scott previously dated Kourtney for years before calling it quits in 2015. They share three children Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, and remain extremely close.

The closeness between Scott and Kourtney contributed to the end of Scott’s relationship with his most recent ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie.

According to a source, Scott’s romance with Amelia has little to nothing in common with his past relationship.

“Scott’s relationship with Amelia is different from his last in that he’s spending more time with Amelia and not Kourtney,” the insider said. “Sofia got jealous of his relationship with Kourtney, and this time around, it’s not an issue.”

A second source notes that Kourtney’s relationship with Sofia was rocky from the start.

“Tension between Kourtney and Sofia got weird toward the end of Sofia and Scott’s relationship,” the insider noted. “Sofia was getting mad that Scott was spending so much time with Kourtney.”

However, Scott’s relationship with Sofia did prepare him for his romance with Amelia.

“Scott’s dated Sofia, so age isn’t really an issue for him,” the original source added. “Despite their age difference, they have more in common than people would think. … He sees himself as being younger than he is. Amelia is really mature and acts older than she is, so they get along pretty well.”

“Scott and Kourtney still split parenting responsibilities — nothing’s changed as far [as] co-parenting goes,” the insider said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 11 in mid-2021.

RHOSLC Cast Is Reportedly ‘In Shock’ And ‘Still Stunned’ About Jen Shah’s Legal Drama; Source Reveals ‘Production Is Going Forward As Normal’

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast had “zero idea” about co-star Jen Shah’s alleged telemarketing fraud scheme.

According to a new report from HollywoodLife, the Salt Lake City Housewives “believed everything” Jen claimed about her business and finances because she was confident and people “respected her privacy.”

“The ladies on the Salt Lake cast had zero idea about Jen and were completely in shock,” a source told HollywoodLife. “They still are stunned. When it came to her money and lifestyle, they believed everything that Jen ever said because she’s such a confident and secure with herself woman, but they also respected her privacy, and nobody ever pushed back on what she said, Andy [Cohen] included.”

“He straight up asked her at the reunion and he believed her,” the source continued. “The cast is being button-lipped right now over the situation.”

Jen’s legal situation won’t affect production on season 2 of RHOSLC as no one on the show knew about any of it.

“NBC Universal and Bravo had zero idea about any of this,” the insider explained. “Production is going forward as normal right now.”

“The defendants both Stuart Smith and Jennifer Shah are really at the highest level of the scheme as it’s charged. The government’s view is that Shah and Smith together controlled no less than $5 million in crime proceeds that passed through just that one entity account. And there are other accounts in the name of other shell companies,” Assistant US Attorney Kiersten Fletcher, said in a statement.

Jen and Stuart “allegedly generated and sold ‘lead lists’ of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam. In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims’ money,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss added in a separate statement.

RHONJ Recap: Pineapple Puss

Greetings Jersey fans! Who here has Googled pineapple or eaten more pineapple since this season of Jersey has started? If so, you’re in luck as this episode is apparently all about that sweet nectar. The ladies are suspicious as Tre can’t stop talking about tasting sweet and is conveniently MIA, which makes the ladies question who she is trying to stay juicy for: hint – it’s not Juicy Joe.

While Tre is acting like a horny teenager, Dolores is dealing with grown women sh*t and is having a biopsy after getting a mammogram done. To the surprise of absolutely no one, her ex husband Frank is more supportive towards her then her boyfriend David. Our ever strong Jersey girl Dolores is dealing with this all on her own, and I don’t care if Dolores is strong or not: her boyfriend should be there for her in times like this and the fact that Frank is the one that is there for her speaks volumes.

Tre is having a ladies night with a psychic and hopefully none of the ladies are hungry as the spread is pretty skimpy. The Marge is first up and either the psychic is really good at the art of Google or she’s the real deal (it’s probably the first one.) Michelle the realtor is here and she is less Google-able and the Gina Marie is still spot on for her. Perhaps I was wrong and Gina Marie is legit? Can I get an appointment with her?! Proving me wrong again, the psychic can pretty much tell Dolores’ family history, and unless she has the premium package to Ancestory.com, I’m actually pretty impressed with her reading on Dolores. Melissa the skeptic is up next, and I have to say her reading is a little less personal (and more public knowledge) so I’m less impressed with this one. #JustSaying. While Jackie’s reading is less than stellar, Jennifer’s is pretty interesting as we find out that she has holy lineage; however the best reading is Tre’s as even the other world knows Tre is hot and heavy with a mystery man. Well now we know why there is so much damn pineapple in that house!

Trying to spice up their relationship is Melissa and Joe who are having a date night at what seems to be the only restaurant in Jersey: Rails. Melissa and Joe are at a rough point in their relationship as Melissa is ready for some her time while Joe still wants that traditional stay at home wife. Melissa has raised three children and has a business, not to mention that her children are nearly grown. Joe needs to let this 1950’s housewife go and embrace their new chapter as this story line is pretty stale (considering they have been talking about it ever since they joined the show.)

Someone who needs a date night even more than Melissa and Joe is Jennifer’s parents who seem to bicker non-stop 24/7. The two are clearly miserable together, so perhaps they can forgo Turkish culture and officially get divorced? I understand that we have to see these ladies’ real lives but I’m not particularly interesting in seeing grandparents get divorced on live TV #HardPass. Considering Jennifer’s children have a painful reaction to seeing their grandparents argue, I know I can’t be alone in this thought.

RHONJ airs Wednesday nights at 9/8 CST on Bravo.

Real Housewives of Nashville? Not so Fast!

With some of the Real Housewives franchises struggling, it would make sense that some new cities may be in the works. Nashville has long been rumored to be one of those cities as it’s full of bars, music, celebrities, and money. With cameras filming many prominent Nashville ‘wives, the rumors have been hotter than ever – so is there any truth to it?

According to Country Now, rumors started to fly when known names such as Brittany Aldean and Jana Kramer were spotted filming in the Nashville area. Kramer is actually a friend of Teddi Mellencamp and even admitted to auditioning for RHOBH previously but never heard anything back. At the time, Us Magazine reported that Kramer “never heard anything. I mean, once Teddi [Mellencamp] got let go, that was pretty much [it] because I was going to come on as her friend.”

Flames were fanned when Jana then posted a cryptic post on her Instagram Page asking fans to guess what she was doing when it clearly looked like she was filming a confessional:

In addition to Kramer and Aldean, other names such as Jenna Perdue, Kasi Wicks, Alexis Allen, and Sabina Rich have been thrown around. Full disclose: I do not follow the Nashville scene at all, so I couldn’t tell you anything about any of these names without Googling them. Although it may seem that this is a done deal, Aldean took to social media to deny that she was joining ‘RHON‘ however admits that it would be entertaining:

Although nothing has been confirmed, rumors have been speculating that there will be a ‘Nashville ‘Wives’ type show, although it may not be affiliated with Bravo. Speculation is that it could be on E! or Peacock and will not have the coveted ‘Real Housewives’ title. According to TMZ, something is definitely in the works, but it could be a ‘Country ‘Wives’ type show and could go on several networks, not necessarily Bravo:

I can see a ‘Nashville ‘Wives’ show being a huge hit; however, I think it may be a better fit for E! vs. the traditional ‘Real Housewives’ setup. Either way, something is definitely in the process, so stay tuned for further details.

Brittany Cartwright gave birth to her first child with husband Jax Taylor on Monday, April 12.

On Tuesday, April 13, the former Vanderpump Rules couple announced their son Cruz Michael Cauchi’s birth on Instagram.

“Yesterday, April 12th at 1:51 pm, our lives changed forever in the absolute best way possible. Our beautiful son Cruz Michael Cauchi was born, and we have never been more in love,” she posted via Instagram. “He is the most precious gift, and I am so blessed to be his Mommy. ? We are soooooo so happy; he is a dream come true!! ???- Both Mommy & Baby are doing great!”

Jax then shared his own announcement on social media. In the post, Jax praised his wife for her strength and for being the “rock” of their family.

“Yesterday, April 12, at 1:51 pm, our lives changed forever; we welcomed Cruz Michael Cauchi into the world. I’ve never in my life thought it was going to be like this…it’s 10000 times better. Dad mode just kicks in. I don’t think I have ever been as happy as I am right now; everything else in life seems so insignificant now. I am crying just writing this message. I have the most beautiful son a man could ask for; he’s an absolute blessing from god. I just want to say how absolutely amazing my wife has been through this whole process, it has not been an easy pregnancy for her, but she did an absolute amazing job all the way till the end. I have always been in awwh [sic] of Brittany, but I fell in love with her all over again. She is our families [sic] rock. We are so in love,” Jax shared.

It’s unclear when Pump Rules will return for season 9.

Kyle Richards isn’t a fan of Scott Disick’s relationship with c0-star Lisa Rinna’s teenage daughter.

In the trailer for season 11 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle was stunned to learn that the 37-year-old KUWTK star was dating nineteen-year-old Amelia Hamlin.

“He’s too damn old!” Kyle exclaimed to Lisa and their castmates Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff.

“I know!” Lisa replied.

“And he’s got three kids!” Kyle added, referencing Scott’s three children Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, that he shares with ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian.

The trailer also included a scene of Amelia telling her mom that she’s hanging out with “my friend Scott,” which she whispered into the phone.

Lisa finally addressed Amelia and Scott’s relationship on Instagram last week. Something tells me we will be hearing Lisa’s true feelings on the romance during season 11 of RHOBH.

“Welp, we both seem to share a love of bucket hats,” she quipped in an Instagram Story while sharing side-by-side photos of Scott and her both wearing bucket hats.

The 19-year-old model and KUWTK star were first spotted together at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party in October 2020. They became Instagram official on Valentine’s Day 2021.

Sources insist that Scott and Amelia have a ton in common despite their age difference and enjoy spending time together.

Bethenny Frankel is on a real estate selling spree!

The former Real Housewives of New York star is not only selling her Soho apartment but also her newly purchased $3 million Connecticut home.

Bethenny recently listed her 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo for $6,995,000 with Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant. Per Reality Blurb, Bethenny initially purchased the property in 2017 for $4.2 million.

The Skinnygirl mogul purchased the home last year and performed a ton of renovations on the property before putting it back on the market.

The 4,700-square-foot house features five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, three fireplaces, and a master bedroom with a huge walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom. The property also boasts an outdoor pool and a huge backyard.

REPORT: Melissa And Joe Gorga ‘Love Each Other Immensely’ Despite Their Marital Problems Airing On RHONJ

Joe and Melissa Gorga are madly in love with each other despite their current marital woes playing out on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“At the end of the day, they’re like Bonnie and Clyde — they’re a package deal and have to be together to be for the show,” an insider told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 1. “They do love each other immensely, but they’re finally just sharing with viewers that they have issues they have to work through. … They’re not a perfect couple.”

The source notes that the RHONJ couple have grown not only as a couple but individually since tying the knot in 2004.

“They got married when they were in their early 20s, and it’s obvious that they’ve both changed. He’s certainly not thrilled about all of her ‘extracurricular activities’ and spending a lot of time working on her store, Envy,” the insider noted. “He’d prefer her cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids. He takes the traditional approach when it comes to marriage and expects her to be the average housewife.”

In February, Melissa got candid about her marital issues with Joe.

“He likes things to stay the same. I’ve been with him since I was 24 years old. So I’ve changed, and I feel like this is a scary part of marriage. Either you’re going to grow together, or you’re going to grow apart. And I think we’re fighting really hard to grow together,” she explained to Us Weekly in February. “This season, it’s very raw. It’s very real. It’s very different this season for Joe and I…We’ve done very good for 11 years. We’re a great couple.”

RHONJ airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on BRAVO.
