Kary Brittingham Divorcing Husband Eduardo After 12 Years of Marriage

Another Real Housewives marriage has fallen victim to the reality TV marriage curse.

During part two of the Real Housewives of Dallas season 5 reunion, Kary Brittingham announced that she was divorcing her husband Eduardo Brittingham after 12 years of marriage.

During the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked Kary about her rude behavior throughout season 5: “When you watched yourself this season, what was your reaction?”

“This was a really tough season for me and watching it back, I realized how much hurt and how much I was struggling in my life,” Kary explained, before breaking the news that she and Eduardo were divorcing. “As I watched that I realized how much in pain I was. My marriage was falling apart and I didn’t want to admit it. After the show finished, me and Eduardo had a real heart-to-heart talk and we decided we needed to go our separate ways. We just told our kids right before coming to the reunion.”

She admitted she was “really scared,” and “was trying to mask what I was going through,” while filming season 5.

“Obviously, I’m very ashamed of my behavior. My kids saw that. I really regret that,” she said while fighting back tears.

Following part 2 of the reunion, Kary opened up further about her divorce on Instagram and in an interview with PEOPLE.

Kary Brittingham Divorcing Husband Eduardo After 12 Years of Marriage

Throughout season 5, Kary received a lot of heat from fans and her RHOD co-stars for her nasty behavior. Kary now says she was trying to mask the “pain” she was going through at the time.

“I think that I was just trying to have fun and just kind of like, push it down,” she told PEOPLE. “At the end of the day, I was clearly hurting so much. I guess I wasn’t talking to anyone about it. I’m like, a huge person that needs to talk things through and just, I need that. I think I was just suppressing it so much that that was just really a big thing and with the pandemic and the kids — and we were just in such close quarters. I guess it emphasized so much more of what our issues were and just how not happy we were.”

“So, obviously, I definitely was a little more wild this year and drinking a little bit extra,” she added. “It was my big 50th birthday and everything that I was going through. And the last thing I wanted to do is to have a failed marriage. I wanted to really figure it out and make it work. But at the end of the day, I just had to be honest with myself and I was just not happy. He was not happy and we just needed to face that.”

 Kary and Eduardo married in 2009 in Careyes, Mexico. They share one daughter Isabella. The RHOD star also has three children, daughters Olivia and Sofia, and son Alex, from her previous marriage.

The now-former reality TV couple officially split in January 2021 after a neighbor offered to purchase their Dallas home. This offer forced the couple to have a serious talk about the future of their marriage, which is when they decided to go their separate ways.

“That night they gave us an offer that we couldn’t refuse,” she said. “That was kind of like when I couldn’t sleep all night and I was really thinking about everything. I had a talk with Eduardo the next day after we got the offer. I said, ‘Listen, we need to talk about everything. Because if we sell the house this is a time to sell it and not move to the same place. It’s like, is it time to talk about our issues so we can kind of make the big decisions?'”

“I knew that I hadn’t been happy and I was just trying to pretend I was,” she added.

Kary has previously been open about her issues with being financially dependent on her husband but now she says she’s excited about her next chapter.

“I am not going to lie that I’m definitely very scared,” she said. “It’s a very scary time. In January, I literally would drive around in my car and just start bawling, crying. And I’m not a big crier. It was so obvious that I had so much inside of me. I was just really scared because I’m like, I don’t want to fail at this marriage. I didn’t want to fail at anything. And I’m scared. I mean, I am so lucky that I have my jewelry. And I had so much support from that. That has been amazing.”

“I just have to really keep working hard and prove it to my kids and three daughters, especially, that no matter what age, no matter when you can still figure it out and make it, just keep thriving,” she added. “I guess now more than ever, I’m having the drive to really make it happen. I’m determined to show everyone that I can do it.”

She concluded: “I feel like when you’re happier and when you’re happy with yourself, you’re just a better person.”

Part 1 of the Real Housewives of Dallas reunion airs on Tuesday, May 4 at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Erika Girardi and estranged husband Tom Girardi are unloading their Pasadena mansion. This comes amid their myriad of legal troubles and pending divorce.

The 74,914 square-foot estate, built-in 1928, features four bedroom and nine bathrooms, a library, a chapel, and a guest suite. The property also includes a pool, pavilion, multiple patios, and a beautiful rose garden.

Per the listing, the home boasts “old world opulence” and is a “rare opportunity to own a true piece of Pasadena history.”

The funds from the sale of the home will reportedly go towards paying off the massive amount of debts the famed lawyer owes since filing bankruptcy in 2020.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been living at another home in Los Angeles since filing for divorce in November 2020.

“Erika has been living in the house for a while. She’s made it her own space and loves it,” a source told PEOPLE. “She’s doing well and is happy.”

In the months since Erika filed for divorce, Tom has been slapped with various lawsuits. The famed lawyer is accused of embezzling millions from his clients over the years.

Tom was recently diagnosed with dementia and late-onset Alzheimers and is under the care of his brother, Robert Girardi, who is currently acting as his conservator.

Margaret Josephs Doesn’t Regret Yelling At Her Husband Joe Benigno on RHONJ: ‘I Hold Everyone Accountable, Even My Husband’

Margaret Josephs has no regrets about publicly fighting with her husband Joe Benigno during a cast trip to the Jersey shore.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star dished to Page Six on her solid eight-year marriage despite the few hiccups she and Joe endured during season 11.

“He is the best husband. He gets me. We get each other,” Margaret said of Joe.

In the March 24 episode of RHONJ, fans saw Margaret yell at Joe after co-star Jennifer Aydin claimed Joe also heard the rumor that Evan Goldschneider cheated on his wife, Jackie Goldschenider. Jennifer then insinuated that Joe had heard the rumor before Teresa Giudice revealed it at Evan’s birthday party.

Jackie and Evan denied the rumor while Joe insisted he didn’t believe there was truth to the gossip.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you screamed at him. He’s a baby,’” Margaret said. “What did everyone want him to do? Scream in my face if I’m having a temper tantrum? What do you do when someone has a fit? Any normal husband is going to address it later. Just like if he was very upset about something, I’m not going to start screaming at him. I’m going to diffuse the situation and then react later.”

Margaret says that while she loves how well the RHONJ husbands get along, their guy’s night gossip session was a “bad game of telephone.”

She also quipped that RHONJ, in general, is notorious for being a game of who-said-what.

Despite the backlash Margaret received from some fans, she has no regrets about how she acted at that moment.

“I think I hold everybody accountable, even my husband,” she said. “I didn’t even care. Everyone’s like, ‘You spoke to your husband so poorly!’ My husband behaved so poorly in a scenario that was unacceptable to me. So, yes, I was a bitch about it. I’m not going to lie. Am I sorry? No.”

It turns out the Big Daddy of Bravo didn’t listen to those who told him to fire Teresa after her fraud conviction and prison stint.

As any OG Real Housewives of New Jersey fan knows Teresa served a nearly year-long prison sentence for multiple counts of fraud before returning to the series for season 7.

It turns out Andy, and Bravo, don’t care if Housewives are involved in criminal and legal issues as long as they are onboard for discussing them on-air.

“There were people who said, ‘You have to fire her,’” Andy tells Vulture. “And it’s like, ‘Look, she’s going to jail. We’ve invested all this time.’ This was something that her friends were accusing her of for years, and she was running from it. I’d rather see her grow as a human being than kill her off.”

The aftermath of Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice’s legal issues created drama for season and season. In fact, it still drives the plot on RHONJ nearly 6 seasons later.

According to her new book ‘Give Them Lala’ which was featured by Page Six, Kent was in an “alcoholic fog” at the time and constantly provoking fights with Emmett. Fortunately Lala is now lving a sober lifestyle as she proved just now nasty (literally) she could get when drinking. “After one argument during a trip to Miami, the Bravo star admits she took Emmett’s clothes, shoes and toiletries and tossed them into a pool “before taking his toothbrush and putting it in my a–hole for a minute.” When Rand was later brushing his teeth and asked why Lala was laughing she replied “That toothbrush was just in my a–hole. I’m sad to say that was not my lowest point.” When asked which side it was, Lala replied “Oh honey, if I’m putting your toothbrush in my ass, I’m not half-assing it, no pun intended. We’re going with the side that you’re putting in your mouth. I’m such a d–k when I drink. Thank God I stopped.” Lala no doubt is a better person sober and I’m sure her man Rand agrees. Lala is now committed to a life of sobriety and recently welcomed her daughter Ocean into the world. I’m sure reliving moments like this are cringeworthy and are a solid reminder as to why she stopped drinking. Kent will still be appearing on the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules; however I think it’s safe to say she will be giving us a much different version of Lala this season.

Lisa Vanderpump Reveals She Fell Into A ‘Depression’ After Leaving RHOBH; Says ‘I Found It Very Difficult’

Putting herself first!

Lisa Vanderpump knows the importance of putting herself, especially her mental health, first.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star reveals that while filming season 9 of the show, she fell into a deep depression which untimely led to her leaving the show for good mid-season.

According to Lisa once she realized she was battling depression she decided to walk away from the show and put herself first.

“I found it very difficult, a dark hole to walk out of,” Lisa told HollywoodLife. “Grief does take a while but you do get through it and things start to get better and even on Housewives. All of the fighting, it’s just not something I kind of look for and wanted to do with my life.”

Lisa’s final season of RHOBH centered around a dog adoption gone wrong, which ultimately left the entire cast divided. Dorit Kemsley infamously adopted a dog from Lisa’s Vanderpump Dogs rescue center however when the puppy did mix well with Dorit’s kids, she and hubby Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley decided to rehome the pup. Instead of simply returning the dog to Vanderpump Dogs they rehomed the pup to a family they eventually turned it over to a shelter.

Not surprisingly, Lisa was NOT happy with this news. The drama started when the news of Dorit’s dog disaster broke in the press. The RHOBH cast accused Lisa of leaking the story to the press, a claim the Pump Rules star has vehemently denied.

By mid-season, Lisa had a major fallout with BFF Kyle Richards and was only speaking to co-star Denise Richards. Things got so ugly that Lisa stopped filming with the cast and skipped the season 9 reunion altogether. She then announced her official exit from the franchise.

Lisa now reveals that fans didn’t see nearly half of what she was going through behind the scenes.

Initally Lisa thought she could push through filming season 9 after her brother Mark Vanderpump committed suicide however she quickly realized the loss was taking a toll on her mental health.

“When my only sibling committed suicide, to me that was just devastating,” Lisa added. “And that radiated so many feelings because all of the survivors to suicide think, ‘Oh, maybe I could’ve spoken to them that day.’ Maybe you couldn’t have changed the path.”

While Lisa was able to walk away from RHOBH she still couldn’t just take the time to focus on herself as she had her spinoff show Vanderpump Rules to film.

“Mine [depression] was circumstantial grief really because of something that happened,” Lisa said. “So for me, I really needed to be proactive with it. I sat there and then I had to start doing Vanderpump Rules and I was committed to that. I was running on four cylinders. I wasn’t really where I should be.”

“I took antidepressants after my brother died and I sought grief counseling just briefly, but it really helped,” Lisa explained. “I think reaching out to people. Not necessarily a grief counselor, but someone you can connect to is so important. For me, I also think that when you’re isolated, even if you can do FaceTime to connect with people, that’s really important. We’re supposed to be with people and integrate. I think exercise is one of the keys to having structure in your life. Getting out of bed, getting exercise.” 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo Wednesday, May 19, at 8 p.m. ET.

Jackie Goldschneider Says She’s Open To New Cast Members Joining RHONJ As Long As They Aren’t Friends with Teresa or Jennifer

Hell maybe freezing over because Jackie Goldschneider is agreeing with co-star and frenemy Jennifer Aydin.

According to Reality Tea, Jennifer said that Bravo should keep the current Real Housewives of New Jersey cast intact and add some new blood into the mix for season 12.

Oddly enough, Jackie completely agrees with Jennifer’s take and she explained why in a new interview with Access Hollywood.

“We need new energy. I think that Teresa is at her best when she’s going at it with somebody and it’s can’t just be me. So I think we definitely need somebody to come in who’s not Teresa or Jennifer’s friend,” Jackie confesses.

Jackie added that she wouldn’t mind having more friends within the group.

“The more energy the better,” she said. “And this cast is so amazing, but I don’t want it to get stale. And I don’t want it to be made-up things, either.” 

I’m all for Bravo keeping the current RHONJ cast as is but I’m always down for a new Housewife or two joining the mix. However, I think Bravo would be smart to bring back an OG cast member like Caroline Manzo. Caroline paired with a new Housewife would be amazing but if I had to chose I’d rather see Caroline return than anything else. I want to see some of the ladies try to take on Caroline and see what drama gets stirred up in the process.

Lisa Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin are reportedly fed up with their 19-year-old daughter Amelia Hamlin’s relationship with Scott Disick, 37.

A source tells OK! Magazine that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple have had enough of the romance. The line in the sand came when Amelia was spotted with bruised lips, which often occurs after getting lip filler.

“Harry and Lisa drew a line in the sand,” spills the source. “They’re concerned that Scott’s convincing her to mess with her appearance, especially since she’s talking about boob and butt surgery to keep his eyes off other girls.”

Ever since Amelia and Scott started hooking up last October, “Harry and Lisa have been sitting back and hoping that Amelia would come to her senses. But it’s clear she’s in way too deep now and that they need to make their feelings known,” adds the source.

“The worry is that Amelia will be pregnant before she knows it, so Harry and Lisa are ready to take the bull by the horns before Scott ruins their daughter’s life.”

“Amelia’s young and in love, but her parents are hoping they can get through to her,” says the source. “They don’t want her world to revolve around Scott.”

The 19-year-old model and KUWTK star were first spotted together at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party in October 2020. They became Instagram official on Valentine’s Day 2021.

PHOTOS: Lala Kent Flaunts Her Post-Baby Bod After Giving Birth to Baby Ocean

Lala Kent is making the transition from BumpRules back to Pump Rules look super easy!

The Vanderpump Rules star showed off her post-baby body on her Instagram Stories. The picture comes a little over after Lala gave birth to her daughter Ocean on March 15.

Lala struck a pose inside her closet while wearing a black one-shoulder bikini top and high-waisted bottoms with cutout details.

Days later the reality TV star flaunted her post-baby bod again while out on the town with her fiancé, Randall Emmett. The two were spotted having dinner at West Hollywood hotspot Craig’s. In the photos, Lala can be seen donning black short shorts, a long-sleeved top, and strappy heels.

Lala and her VPR co-stars are set to begin filming season 9 of Pump Rules any day now.

Stars Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Maddix, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss will all be back for season 9 along with Lisa Vanderpump, the owner of SUR.

Some new cast members may be added into the mix to replace the seven stars who have left the show since season 8.

Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni, Kristen Doute were all fired by Bravo in June 2020 because of past racist behavior.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their exits from the show in December 2020. Season 8 newbie Dayna Kathan confirmed in April 2021 that she would not be returning for season 9.

The Vanderpump Rules cast is currently filming season 9.
