Melissa Gorga reveals that she wants former co-star Caroline Manzo to return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“I always just say that the only one [I’d like to see return] — if I had to pick somebody — would be Caroline Manzo,” she said to HollywoodLife.

She continued, “I just, I really loved her and her family. I just thought they were funny, and they were great and Caroline’s like a voice of reason. I always loved the Manzos.”

Melissa’s confession comes at an interesting time considering Caroline is currently making headlines for supporting her sister Dina Manzo’s ex-husband Tommy Manzo amid his arrest. Tommy has been linked to two attacks involving Dina and her current husband, Dave Cantin. He was arrested on May 11 and charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, and stalking.

Meanwhile, Caroline is also involved in a long-running feud with Melissa’s sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, who also happens to be BFFs with Dina.

Teresa previously accused Caroline of calling the feds on her and her ex-husband Joe Giudice. Caroline has denied the claims but Teresa continues to insist that Caroline was involved.

Filming for season 12 is set to begin in early June so if Bravo has any plans to bring Caroline back they need to act fast.

The RHONJ OG almost returned to the series for season 10 but turned down Bravo’s “insulting” offer after they asked her to come back as a friend of the Housewives.

“They wanted me back to see how I blend with the women — that’s an insult,” she said at the time. “I helped build that show. I wasn’t the cause of that success, I was part of that puzzle. A very, very important puzzle. Point is, you don’t insult me like that. You don’t insult me like that by saying, ‘Let’s see how you do.’ You know how I’m going to do. You know how I’m going to blend, and you know what I’m going to bring.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo for season 12 in late 2021 or early 2022.

Not everyone is thrilled about Teresa Giudice’s new romance with boyfriend Louie Ruelas.

During part two of the season 11 reunion, the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG revealed that her ex-husband Joe Giudice was devasted by her new relationship.

This surprising news came up when Andy Cohen noted that Joe and Louie met during a vacation in the Bahamas.

Teresa explained, “[My daughters] went on their own, and then I had to go pick up Audriana because she had to be back at dance on April 5th. And then Louie reached out to Joe and said, ‘Can we have dinner in the Bahamas?’”

Andy then asked if it was weird, to which Teresa admitted it wasn’t.

“My kids just said, ‘Mom, make sure there’s not too much [PDA]’ because him and I are all over each other always,” she said.

She then added that it turns out not everyone felt good about the dinner.

“[Joe] did tell Gia, ‘Seeing your mom with someone else broke my heart into a million pieces,’ and I did feel bad, and like I said, I’m not trying to hurt him,” Teresa admitted before breaking down into tears.

Teresa also revealed that her daughters Audriana,12. and Gabriella, 17, “are good” with her divorce from Joe; however, the same can’t be said for Gia and Milania.

“Gia and Milania, they still have deep issues about it,” Teresa confessed before revealing that Gia, 20, started seeing a therapist over it, and Milania, 15, will soon follow.

Even Teresa has started seeing a therapist to better help her daughters handle the divorce.

“When your kids are going through it’s important for you to know how to speak to them. I can’t just tell them to get over it and to be strong,” Teresa explained.

As the reunion wrapped, Louie surprised Teresa and brought her a cocktail. The two exchanged “I love yous” before he went back off-stage with the rest of the husbands.

Lexi Manzo is taking a page out of her mom, Dina Manzo’s book, and isn’t staying silent any longer.

The 20-something former reality TV staple shaded her Aunt Caroline Manzo on Instagram earlier this week.

This came after it was revealed that Caroline wrote a letter vouching for Dina’s ex-husband Tommy Manzo’s character following his arrest.

As we previously reported, Tommy has been linked to two attacks involving his ex-wife and her current husband, Dave Cantin.

Tommy has been accused of hiring reputed Lucchese crime family associate John Perna to beat Dave outside a strip mall in 2015.

He is also reportedly involved in the 2017 home invasion that left Dina and Dave bound, beaten, and robbed.

Tommy was arrested on May 11 and was charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, and stalking. A week later, Tommy was released from jail pending his trial.

In court on May 21, Tommy’s lawyer, Amy Luria, highlighted several letters written vouching for her client’s character. The letters were written by various notable figures, including Dina’s sister, Caroline.

On Instagram, Lexi shared a meme of Caroline and Tommy that read “thick as thieves.”

She then added her own two cents, saying, “LITERALLY.” 

But Lexi didn’t stop there; she then shared another meme calling her Aunt Caroline “a bad sister.” 

“Dina Manzo sitting back watching the Bravo fans realize what a bad sister Caroline Manzo is,” read the meme.

When this news broke, Dina’s good friend and former assistant, Luke McKibben, blasted Caroline in a post on Instagram.

“For years, I have sat by and watched Dina take the high road over and over. Staying silent for many reasons but mainly out of respect for family. There’s a million things I could have said throughout the years and spoken up to defend her. She would forbid me to say a word. But I can’t stay silent while others continue to talk to help keep their relevance. You will reap what you sow. And I find this extremely fitting after all; they are your most famous words,” Luke wrote alongside a photo of Tommy and Caroline with the words “Thick as Thieves” written above it.

Shockingly, Dina commented on Luke’s post, writing, “Normally Likey I would ask you to take this down but ya know what? I’m starting to think some just expect us to stay quiet while they continue to hurt others…that’s what gives them that “power.” I’ll say it again…it’s not ok to take kindness for weakness. Plus, if I don’t laugh at this point, I’ll just continue to cry. I love you.”

Part two of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion airs on Wednesday, May 26, at 9 p.m.
