Elizabeth Lyn Vargas Addresses Exit From RHOC; Says Being An OC Housewife Was An ‘Extraordinary Experience’

Another one-season wonder!
Elizabeth Lyn Vargas is addressing her exit from the Real Housewives of Orange County. Bravo did NOT ask the season 15 newbie back for a sophomore season. Fellow OC Housewives Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke were also let go by the network.

“I would like to thank NBCUniversal and Evolution Media as well as all of the producers, film crew, staff & my manager @sirdavidweintraub for the opportunity to participate in season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Elizabeth wrote on Instagram. 

She continued, “COVID 2020 was a very unfortunate and tough year for all of us during filming, but we made it happen, and I’m very proud of what we accomplished as a team. Despite filming during COVID and not really getting to know all the ladies fully, this past year has been the most extraordinary, amazing, and beautiful experience of my life. I am so proud of the work we have done and the friendships we were able to build.”

Elizabeth then thanked fans for their “support and love” and took the opportunity to plug her Vargas Vodka brand.

“To the Fans …I can never ever thank you enough for the outpouring of love, support, and the kindness you have shown to me. Thank you for a memorable season and helping me to launch my new Vargas Vodka in which a percentage of every bottle sold goes to help save the animals!” she said.

Lisa Rinna raised eyebrows when she compared her husband Harry Hamlin not supporting a friend who was accused of rape to her not supporting Denise Richards. Rinna implied that neither she nor Harry blindly support their friends; however many fans and friends of Denise were appalled that she would compare her former friend to a man accused of rape.

Garcelle Beauvais was one of those friends as she recently appeared on Danny Pellegrino’s podcast ‘Everything Iconic’ and was asked about the comparison. Garcelle naturally defended her friend Denise and made her thoughts on Rinna once again known. When asked by Danny what Rinna was thinking when she shared that story, Garcelle responded with:

“I have no idea – it was so insane, it’s like what?!? I saw a lot of memes that were spot on with that. Are you kidding?! Get out of here with that story – don’t ever tell that story again!’

When asked if we missed something because it made absolutely no sense, Garcelle confirmed that the scene was not edited by responding with a simple ‘nope.’

I was shocked that Lisa Rinna would even share that story, let alone use it as an example as to why she did not support Denise. I’m with Garcelle: never tell that story again!

Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke Comment on Their RHOC Exits

Breaking their silence!

Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd have been kicked to the curb by Bravo. The two OC Housewives were not asked back for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Now, the two departing Housewives are commenting on their exits and reminiscing about their time on the Orange County Housewives franchise.

“I’m incredibly sad to not be able to come back to The Real Housewives of Orange County next year. I loved every moment of being a Housewife and am so proud of my time on the show – the good, the bad, and the in-between,” Braunwyn told PEOPLE in a statement.

“It feels revolutionary to say, but I was able to get sober and stay sober on reality TV. That is something for which I will forever be grateful. And I came out, becoming the first gay Housewife in the franchise’s history. What an incredible honor to look back upon, especially during Pride Month,” she continued.

“I know I may have been too much for some, and that’s okay. I am real, and I am happy being me. I’m so grateful to those who have stood by me,” she added. “There is a lot more to my life, and I hope you’ll stick with me on this journey as I move forward in my next chapter.”

Kelly, on the other hand, posted a short and sweet message on Twitter.

“The last five years have been an amazing experience. The next five years will be even better. I am so grateful for all the love and support and so excited about the future,” she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Kelly “celebrated” her departure with friend and now-former co-star Shannon Beador on Tuesday night. Shannon and boyfriend, John Jansen, bought Kelly over a parting gift as news of her exit broke in the press.

Season 16 of RHOC will star returning Housewife Heather Dubrow as well as current Housewives Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson. The franchise will also add one or two new Housewives into the mix.

RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.

Kyle Richards Calls Amelia Hamlin And Scott Disick’s May-December Relationship ‘Strange’; Says She Wouldn’t Be Happy If One of Her Daughters Were Dating Scott

It’s no secret that Kyle Richards disapproves of Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick’s May-December romance.

In the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 trailer, Kyle shared her unfiltered thoughts on co-star Lisa Rinna’s 19-year-old daughter dating the 38-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

“He’s too damn old, and he’s got, three kids!” Kyle exclaims in the trailer.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kyle reveals why Scott and Amelia’s relationship rubs her the wrong way.

“Listen, I’m a mother of four daughters, so I wouldn’t be happy with that situation,” she confesses.

“I just wouldn’t, but I also know that Rinna’s daughter’s an adult, and it’s not like she’s going to listen to what Rinna says anyway, but that doesn’t stop me from voicing my opinion about it,” she continued.

She also notes that she is sure Scott and Amelia aren’t fans of her opinion about their romance.

“I’m sure that she and Scott don’t love that I said that, but that’s how I feel,” she added.

“It’s kind of funny to me also because I know Kourtney [Kardashian], and I know Kourtney and Scott as being together, so it’s all kind of strange for me anyway when I see that,” Kyle notes.

Despite the opinions about their relationship, Scott and Amelia seem to be moving along with their relationship.

The couple celebrated Amelia’s 20th birthday over the weekend. Scott gifted Amelia a diamond cross necklace.

Throwing shade and spilling the tea!

Danielle Staub appeared on Hulu’s The Housewife and the Hustler which dived deep into the legal and financial issues facing Erika Jayne and her estranged husband Tom Girardi.

During the special, Danielle threw a ton of shade at Erika and her career as a pop star, which is rich considering the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star can’t hold a tune herself despite putting out her own music.

“Erika Jayne, I have seen on the show, and I also worked with her on Watch What Happens Live one or two times. Didn’t get the best vibe from her — I know a lot of fake people, and it turns out, she’s just one of them,” Danielle said in the opening moments of the documentary.

Speaking of Erika’s career in the music industry, Danielle said, “I liked that even though she can’t hold a tune, she sang. She entertained. She’s entertaining.”

“She wasn’t afraid of her body, her sensuality,” Danielle added.

As for Erika’s lavish lifestyle, Danielle said most Housewives have a habit of flaunting and living a lifestyle beyond their means.

“The ladies, they have a tendency to always, and still do, flaunt well beyond their means,” she said.

Danielle might not be a fan of Erika’s singing or her flashy lifestyle however she does appreciate what Erika brought to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“She was very good casting,” Danielle confessed. “Probably the best since me. They wanted girls who could really get in there and entertain yet hold their own.” 

She also revealed that she and Erika worked at the same strip club in New Jersey.

“Erika and I worked at the same strip club,” Danielle explained. “Shakers is located in Carlstadt and it is one of the clubs next to the Bada Bing club, which was on The Sopranos. A lot of girls have been wheeled through there. I was just one of them and one of many.”

This isn’t the first time it was revealed that Erika and Danielle both worked at Shakers. Erika acknowledged the connection on an April 2020 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen but admitted she didn’t know Danielle through the club.

Jim Edmonds recently shaded his ex-wife Meghan King’s new relationship with “friend turned boyfriend” Will Roos.

The former MLB player commented on one of Moxey Blonde‘s Instagram posts about Meghan and Will’s romance, saying, “Poor guy.”

He later deleted the comment but not before the account captured a screenshot of it.

This shady comment comes less than a month after Meghan confirmed that she finalized her divorce from Jim.

“I feel the same as I did before it was finalized,” she admitted to Us Weekly in May 2021. “I think it’s, like, an energetic closure, which is important, but I mean, I’ve been learning how to be independent ever since we separated, ever since the divorce was filed, and so that’s almost, I guess, a year and a half now.

“So it just — it feels good,” she continued. “It feels good to put that behind me and just look to the future. I want to spend my life with a partner. I’m a loyal, monogamous individual. I’ve been having a lot of fun dating, but I’m really hoping to settle down and find that partner.”

Meghan and Jim split in October 2019 after five years of marriage. They share three children: daughter Aspen, 4, and 2-year-old twin sons, Hayes and Hart.

In May 2020, Meghan went Instagram official with now ex-boyfriend Christian Schauf. The two split in the fall of 2020, but the two remain friendly.

Meghan then moved on to her current beau, Will.

“For now, we’re just friends. And by ‘friends,’ I mean super close besties who also kiss and hug. Ok, so I don’t mean ‘friends’ at all. Life is funny… @willroos,” Meghan shared on her Instagram story in January.

RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.

RHOBH Recap: The Divided State of Erika

Hello 90210 fanatics! We were in for a double doozy this week as not only is Erika announcing her divorce this episode, but Hulu premiered the Housewife and the Hustler this week which has alll the gossip sites talking. So will we learn anything new this week? Let’s Dive in.

Well we start with what every single person watching this season wants to know: What is going on with the Girardi divorce? Erika starts it out by admitting that there are many layers to her divorce and that it’s complicated (understatement of the season.) Erika is going to be MIA at Kyle’s election party as she is definitely not in the mood to celebrate, considering her life is falling apart. Despite all the drama surrounding Erika, the attention turns to Dorit and Kyle who are having a snag in their relationship. The two are fighting over who talks too much and spoiler alert: they both do.

Kyle does her best to be a good party host but it’s uber awkward between Crystal/Sutton and Kyle/Dorit (and all the really bad and tacky fashion.) Despite the election results rolling in the ladies are most shocked about Erika’s divorce and are surprised that no one in the Fox Force Five club had any idea. While the ladies gossip about the divorce, the men do their own gossiping (RHONJ husbands they are not) and PK does his best to try to stir the pot and insert himself into the gossip.

The drama continues as Kyle and Dorit slip away to discuss their issues and from what the clip showed, it doesn’t seem like such a big deal – so why make this a whole thing? Note ladies: we already have enough front and center drama, we don’t need these side feuds. This conversation is deja-vu from last season and personally I’m over Kyle interrupting and Dorit giving monologues, in the words of Taylor Armstrong “Enough!” Kyle gives Dorit an ultimatum which comes off as a friendship threat and Dorit pulls an Erika by saying that she’s ‘good’ then sauntering away. Is this the breakdown of the Fox Force Five Four?

We get a fantasy scene (finally) as Sutton and Garcelle go car shopping for a new toy for Sutton. I enjoy Garcelle and Sutton’s friendship as it seems sincere and not competitive, as Garcelle genuinely has fun shopping for Sutton with no green eyed monster in sight. Sutton chalks up her new Bentley due to a mid-life crisis and I do feel she is going through some sort of internal crisis, so hopefully retail therapy is the cure for whatever ails her.

Over at Sutton’s store the ladies discuss her upcoming Parisian party, and of course: Erika. To the shock of everyone Erika is coming to the party and you know the ladies are going to have their questions ready to go. Living a more simple life are the Hamlins as Harry is gardening, preparing for doomsday, and I can’t think of anything worse than being stuck in a bomb shelter type scenario than with Rinna: no thank you. Harry is certainly taking this emergency preparation to the next level as he also has an inflatable pool in case of fires, so in case of emergency we’re all running over to the Hamlins!

Sutton’s exquisite Parisian party is upon us (name cards and all) and everyone is dressed to the nines, especially Crystal who has the best accessory of all: a $95K Herrmes bag (I kid you not.) Crystal makes my cute little designer bag look like a Wal-Mart special; however I have to say I’d take my bag over the mini store front any day. Kyle isn’t just envious of Crystal’s bag, she’s also seeing green that Sutton is living in her old house and it’s making her want to move back in. I do feel Kyle’s Bel-Air house always suited her more than her current Encino home so I can definitely see her moving back in some day.

While all ladies are dressed to impress, Rinna and Kyle are a little too on trend as they show up in the exact same dress (which is giving me serious Julia Roberts/Pretty Woman vibes. Despite the fashion hits and misses, the only thing I want to see is Erika’s entrance and it doesn’t disappoint. Yes ladies, she makes a grand entrance, and with the crucifix in the background it has even more creepy vibes than I had anticipated. Yikes.

RHOC Casting Shakeup: Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn, and Elizabeth Departing, Heather Dubrow Returning For Season 16

Buckle up because a major casting shakeup is coming to Orange County!

Variety reports that Bravo is shaking things up for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Kelly Dodd will be departing the franchise after six seasons on the show.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who was on the show for two seasons, and newbie Elizabeth Lyn Vargas will also not return for season 16.

A Bravo spokesperson confirms that their contracts were not renewed for season 16, which is set to begin filming next month.

Their exits open the door for some new Housewife blood and the return of former cast member Heather Dubrow.  The actress and mother of four starred on RHOC from season 7 to season 11.

It has long been rumored that Heather would be returning to the franchise. Just last week, rumors popped back up again. Former star Tamra Judge and Heather’s good friend kept her lips zipped about Heather’s possible return to RHOC. However, she hinted that IF Heather returned to RHOC, she’d love to appear as Heather’s friend.

Current OC Housewives Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson will also be returning for another season of drama.

One or two new Housewives will also be joining the mix.

Fans have long called for a major casting shakeup on RHOC, and it seems that Bravo has finally answered their prayers.

In January, Bravo superfans Evan Ross Katz and Meghan McCain called for Bravo to cancel RHOC. Andy Cohen clapped, saying, “I think you mean reBOOT.”

And a full re-boot is just what the network has done. Bravo, Bravo!

Kyle Richards Denies There Ever Being Gang-Ups on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills; Insists ‘There’s Never A Plot To Take Anyone Down’

Kyle Richards denies that there have ever been gang-ups on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The RHOBH OG chatted with Entertainment Tonight about the claims that the Beverly Hills Housewives plot and gang up on their fellow co-stars.

Kyle confessed that she was shocked when she first her the allegation of gang-ups on RHOBH.

“First of all, there’s never ever a plot to take anybody down. Things unfold, and then we go with whatever is unfolding, what’s happening in people’s lives at the time,” she said.

She continued, “I think people don’t like that there’s a bond between the five of us and that all stemmed from the season where there were all these big fires in Malibu, and Camille [Grammer] and Denise [Richards] were not able to make it to Provence. That was the season [Lisa] Vanderpump had stopped filming with us, so we just went, the five of us, and we really bonded. There’s a lot of trust between us.”

Kyle also addressed complaints from Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais about them being left out of the Fox Force Five, which is a group made up of Kyle, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, and Dorit Kemsley. The group started following the season 10 reunion when the five ladies attended a dinner at Kyle’s house to celebrate the end of the season.

“When new girls come in, Garcelle made a comment, or Sutton, that we got together after the [season 10] reunion, and they came to my house, and they’re like, ‘It was kind of rude.’ I’m like, ‘Welcome to the Housewives!’” she said.

“There’s never been a reunion in all of these years where every single person gets together. It doesn’t happen. These are relationships we’ve had for many, many years now, and these are newer girls, and there’s stuff going on. There’s no trying to exclude. Garcelle and Sutton have dinner, and we’re not invited. No big deal,” she continued.

REPORT: Teresa Giudice’s Friends Are ‘Worried’ That She’s Moving Too Fast With Boyfriend Luis Ruelas

Teresa Giudice is head over heels in love with her boyfriend Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas; however, her friends are worried that she may be moving a little too fast with her new relationship.

According to a new report, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is “more in love than ever before,” but her friends would like to see her “do her own thing for a while.”

A source says pals are “worried” because Teresa “would marry Luis in a heartbeat.” Instead, they think Teresa needs to slow down, considering she just finalized her divorce from ex-husband Joe Giudice, after 20 years of marriage, in September of 2020.

“Her friends have never seen her like this before. He’s very different than Joe,” the source told HollywoodLife. “But some friends are worried that she’s so in love that she’s blinded by certain things like his past and working with him too soon. They’d like to see her do her own thing for a while and spend more time getting to know him. He seems to treat her right, but they are just very protective of her after all she’s been through.”

“She’s more in love than ever before,” the insider continued. “Those two always have their hands on one another. They do everything together. She brings him on work trips, too, and never wants to be away from him. She’s totally smitten. They’re like teenagers in high school. He’s very supportive and even helping her with her career.”

As we previously reported, Louie has made it publicly known he has every intention of popping the question soon.

“Oh, yeah, for sure,” Louie told TMZ earlier this month when asked if wedding bells are in his and Teresa’s future.

Season 12 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to premiere on Bravo in early 2022.
