Throwing shade!
Andy Cohen wasn’t a fan of the recent HULU documentary, The Housewife and the Hustler, that detailed the ongoing fraud scandal involving Erika Jayne and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi.
To start Andy told one Real Housewives fan that he didn’t think the documentary would affect Erika’s position or popularity on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I don’t think that documentary will affect her future on the show,” he said.
However, the fan noted that watching the documentary made them “not want to watch [RHOBH]” and that “seeing her life of opulence” and “knowing that money was stolen money made it a little bit icky.”
The Big Daddy of Bravo also found it odd that producers featured former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub and RHOBH friend Dana Wilkey as experts in the documentary.
“I will say the idea that Danielle Staub and Dana Wilkey are the experts in this documentary about Erika is questionable at best,” he confessed. The two former Bravo staples have been outspoken about Tom and Erika and have “publicly feuded” with the RHOBH star, according to Page Six.
Danielle called Erika “fake” and a “bitch” in the documentary before advising the Beverly Hills Housewife to “shut up, sit down. Pay attention to what’s going on in your case and don’t worry about TV.”
“So I kind of realized I wasn’t going to learn anything new from them about Erika,” he added before admitting, “The Tom Girardi stories continue to be deeply disturbing, and we have to see how this plays out.”
Meanwhile, Dana responded to Andy’s comments and called him out for being jealous he didn’t get the scoop first.
“I have this to say to @radioandysxm Don’t take out your anger on me because @abcnetwork beat you to the punch … It’s petty,” Dana tweeted.
Dana previously attempted to expose Tom and Erika.
“There is no money,” Wilkey asserted on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast in January. “I mean, let’s just be really clear. At no point did Tom go to Erika, ‘Listen, there’s no way I’m going to get away with what’s happening to me.’”
“There’s no way he was like, ‘I’ve got this Swiss account somewhere that I’ve got, you know, hidden my assets,’” she continued. “When you’re at this level of problems with litigation involving companies like Boeing, your bank statements will be scrutinized in every facet to a degree. Again, I fathom there is no moving money. Like an imaginary TV show, ‘CSI,’ whatever to, to get away from that.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
