Rumors of Erika Jayne’s alleged “secret boyfriend/sugar daddy” have been running rampant since the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed for divorce from her husband Tom Girardi in November 2020.
During season 11 of RHOBH, Erika denied rumors that she was ever unfaithful to Tom during their marriage.
She called rumors linking her to Scooter Braun and Gleb Savchenko “silly as f–k.”
“I haven’t seen either one of them in four and a half, five years,” she added.
However, now a new interview with Erika’s former image-maker has many thinking the RHOBH star wasn’t telling the entire truth.
Troy Jensen appeared on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast and spilled quite a bit of tea about the reality TV star.
When asked if Erika ever had a “little boyfriend” on the side during her marriage, Troy replied, “Oh, God. I’d rather not comment on that. I take the fifth on that.”
Troy also noted that Erika was “very different” when he first met her and that her style was much more “conservative.”
While working with Erika, Troy got an up-close and personal look at Erika and Tom’s marriage. He claims their relationship wasn’t romantic and felt more like “an arrangement.” He added that the former couple was “competitive” with one another.
“I remember one time when they were together, and we were maybe getting ready for a show or whatever, and he came in and was like, ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ And she goes, ‘How was your day, dear?’ And he goes, ‘Oh, I made $3 billion today, how ’bout you?’ And she said, ‘Oh, I sang in front of 3 billion queens today.’ It kind of almost felt a little competitive,” he recalled of one instance between Tom and Erika.
Meanwhile, a clip from Erika’s appearance at Ted Talk Pasadena recently resurfaced and is causing some stir on social media. The clip makes many fans wonder if we’ve ever seen the real Erika Jayne/Erika Girardi on the show.
In the clip, Erika talks about how her Erika Jayne “character” on RHOBH is the “greatest bamboozlement” of her life.
“When I joined a reality TV show, overnight, I took Erika Jayne from nightclubs to people’s living rooms. And they ate it up because TV land is really into sparkly over-the-top characters,” she quipped. “I was nailing it.”
She continued, “But what happened that I didn’t expect was that people thought this Erika Jayne character was totally and completely me. This art project that I had created to get back to what I love the most in the world was all I was ever allowed to be. It’s the greatest bamboozlement I’ve ever accomplished because Erika Jayne nearly erased Erika Girardi.”
