Oh, the shade!

It’s no secret that Candiace Dillard knows how to pop off. It’s even less of a secret that her husband Chris Basset isn’t always a fan of his wife’s antics especially when she crosses the line.

Chris came to Candiace’s rescue once again when she got into a verbal spat with Ashley Darby that crossed so many lines. He told his wife to “shut the f–k up” in an effort to save her from herself.

However, not everyone in the Real Housewives of Potomac cast was a fan of how Chris spoke to his wife.

On the Real Housewives of Potomac After Show Mia Thornton and Karen Huger discussed Chris’ behavior and his marriage to Candiace.

“Let me tell you what I remember. I remember her husbanger getting up from the table telling her to shut the f–k up,” Mia said.

Karen chimed in and recalled how Chris physically restrained his wife, noting, “I don’t understand it, but they’ll be fine.  I hope.  There is hope.”

However, Mia disagrees and hints that she doesn’t think Chris and Candiace’s marriage will last.

“No, I don’t know if I agree with that,” Mia quipped while Karen continued to hold her ground saying, “I can hold out hope Mia, I can hold out hope.”

Mia added, “I don’t know.  I’m sorry but no manager, husbanger, husband ever wouldn’t dare be able to say shut the f–k up to me.”

“Never,” Karen said in agreement.

Oddly enough, producers insert a flashback clip from the couples’ trip when a drunk Gordon Thornton tells Mia to “shut the f–k up.”

“I don’t get many chances to tell you to shut the f–k up,” Gordon told Mia.
