Vicki Gunvalson Calls Ex Steve Lodge ‘Vain, Self-obsessed’; Says He’s a ‘Narcissist’ Who ‘Craves the Spotlight’

Vicki Gunvalson isn’t holding back!

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is slamming her ex Steve Lodge amid the news of his engagement to Janis Carlson, which broke in the news earlier this week.

“As Everyone is asking me for my comment on the fast ‘engagement’ that was personally fed to the press by his own vain, self-obsessed craving for the spotlight, excessive admiration and attention… seems to have hit the wires,” Vicki told Celebuzz. “I’m not sure why this is even news as this person was in my life for almost 6 years, but he was and is NOT a celebrity or known to anyone prior to dating me.”

“Good news is my future is bright, and I am moving on with my life in a positive manner,” she continued. “Those who follow me can see that I am currently living my best life in MY Puerto Vallarta vacation home and enjoying every minute of it. I’m not bitter or wallowing in a corner and would never allow this news to affect my life. I am a strong woman who owns 2 homes, a successful business at Coto Insurance, and will certainly not let this NON-news worthy information affect me. I consider myself fortunate to no longer have to deal with this person’s narcissistic personality. “

The OG of the OC continued to bash Steve in an interview with E! News.

“Only a narcissist would move out of my home in September and be engaged in December,” Vicki said. “At this point, I can only thank God for tearing me away from the lies, the mind games, manipulations, being used, and I am finally set free to heal.”

She continued,  “It’s important to remember that I’m only mourning the person I thought he was, not the cruel manipulator he really is, and that is what gives me peace. I now see this as a blessing because if he did this now, God only knows what he would’ve done years down the line if I would’ve stayed with him.”

“I’m not an evil person, so I won’t wish him anything bad; I can only wish for him what he deserves in life…whatever that may be,” she added.

However, Steve says Vicki’s timeline of their breakup is “skewed.”

“I was very clear with Vicki in December of 2020. I told her in writing and verbally many times that I did NOT want to be in a romantic relationship with her anymore and ended it,” he told E! News. “We have not been in an intimate relationship since September of 2020, and that was few and far in between.”

Vicki’s rep then ended the back and forth between the exes and made it clear Vicki would no longer be commenting on Steve’s engagement.

“Mrs. Gunvalson is ending all comments and statements here,” her rep Dominique Enchinton said. “She is moving on with the next chapter of her life, which includes many exciting new projects and ventures in the works. She has no more time for this nonsense, nor is she giving any more life to a person whom is no longer relevant in her life.”

Meanwhile, Vicki told Celebuzz she’s optimistic about the future of her love life.

“As I continue to move on with my life, I have faith that there will be a truly honorable, successful, God-fearing man out there to be my life partner. While marriage may or may not be in my future, I will continue to surround myself with quality people who have my best interests in mind. “

“As relationship research shows, it takes at least 18 months to really get to know someone. This marks this person’s 7th engagement,” she added.

REPORT: RHOBH Cast Irked Over Kathy Hilton’s Season 12 Pay Raise

Kathy Hilton made a boss move and held out on returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 12 until Bravo agreed to pay her more money – and it worked.

The 62-year-old reportedly received a generous pay raise for season 12, and it turns out her co-stars are less than thrilled about it.

Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Minkoff, and Sutton Stracke are reportedly green with envy over Kathy’s hefty raise.

“The reason for all the jealousy is that Kathy is still considered a ‘friend’ of the Housewives,” a source tells Life & Style. “She’s not an official regular. Not yet anyway.” 

While Kathy’s sister Kyle Richards isn’t upset about her raise, the rest of the ladies in the cast are fuming.

“The Housewives are furious and stirring up a fuss,” spills the source. “It caused major salary snooping investigation in the 90210.”

The insider adds, “Every other cast member wants to know what Kathy’s making this season, and if they find out that it’s more than what they’re taking home, there’s going to be hell to pay over at Bravo.” 

RHOBH is expected to return for season 12 in Spring 2022.

Kelly Dodd Claims She Could Star On Future Seasons of RHUGT; Says Heather Dubrow Was Part of the Reason She Was Fired From RHOC

Kelly Dodd thinks she still has a future within the Real Housewives sphere despite being fired from the Real Housewives of Orange County earlier this year.

Kelly claims she’s on good terms with Bravo and Andy Cohen in a new interview.

“I don’t have a bad relationship with Bravo or with Andy Cohen at all,” she revealed during the latest episode of David Yontef’s “Behind The Velvet Rope” podcast.

Because of this, Kelly believes she could appear on future seasons of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip spinoff show.

“So I think it’s possible. The network has love/hate for me. They do. They know that I’m a hard worker. They know how dedicated I am and how I’m never late. I’m easy to work with. If they tell me to shut up, I typically do,” Kelly explained.

When it comes to her being fired from RHOC, Kelly insists Heather Dubrow’s return played a part in her being let go from the show.

“Tamra told me 100%. Tamra told me and Tamra’s friends with everybody. So Tamra said that she had, 100% had something to do with it,” Kelly claimed.

While it’s no secret that Kelly made some controversial comments during her last year on the show, Kelly says she doesn’t understand how she was let go, but people who committed crimes still have jobs on Bravo.

“You know, people that have been involved in the law that have committed real crimes, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, they can be on there, but somebody who has an opinion and who doesn’t fit their narrative [gets fired],” she quipped.

The Countess isn’t being uncool about ex-husband Tom D’Agostino’s recent engagement.

Luann de Lesseps tells Page Six that she has nothing but well wishes for Tom amid the news of his engagement to Danielle Rollins on New Year’s Eve.

“I’m not somebody who dwells in the past. I’m not a big reminisce, and sometimes I would like to be, but I’m just not that person. That whole story’s behind me,” the Real Housewives of New York star explained. “I’ve moved on, and I only wish Tom the best.”

In 2016, Luann and Tom said ‘I do’ on New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach, Florida; however, their happily ever after was short-lived.

Seven months after tying the knot, Tom and Luann ended their marriage. He later moved on with Rollins. The two have been together for four years.

Despite moving on from Tom, Luann admits she sometimes thinks about what her life would be like if her and Tom’s marriage worked out.

“There’s still a part of me that wishes it worked out. I’d still have my penthouse; I’d have a place in Palm Beach [Fla.]. And maybe I could have avoided a lot of problems,” she admitted. “But things happen in life, and I look at them as learning experiences.”

However, Lu believes that her split with Tom was the catalyst for her successful career as a cabaret performer.

“I don’t know if my cabaret would have been such a big success if I didn’t go through all that drama in my life,” Luann noted. “People are so supportive of me that they wanted to come and see me rise like a phoenix.”

She added, “What I did was I took lemons, and I made lemonade and a cabaret career. And that was so unexpected. You just have to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and keep it moving. That’s what I try to do with my life.”

When it comes to the type of man she’s searching for, Luann says, “I really want somebody who completes the situation for me and completes the package for me. I have a great life; I have beautiful children, I have beautiful homes, I have a career. I’m busy. I’m looking for somebody who’s like-minded, who I can travel with, who has my back, who I can trust, who’s handsome. And somebody who adds to my life and doesn’t take away from my life.”

Over the years, fans have watched the highs and lows of Luann’s romantic life play out on Bravo. Fans have seen Lu be married, divorced, single, dating, and more on RHONY; however, she admits she’s down to date someone who isn’t willing to film.

If her next beau is willing to film for RHONY, Luann says she’ll think twice before introducing him to viewers.

“It just really depends on the person, I think. That’s a bridge I’ll cross when I get to it. It’s like bringing somebody home to meet my kids,” she explained. “Unless I’m confident and I know that this person is around to stay and I know that I can trust him and I know that I want to bring him around my kids, that’s how I feel about bringing him around the show.”

Meredith Marks Denies Being in Cahoots With Mary Cosby; Insists She Didn’t Have Anything to do With Jen Shah Getting Nabbed by the Feds

Not so fast!

Meredith Marks is shutting down Whitney Rose and Heather Gay’s theory that she was in “cahoots” with Mary Cosby and that they both had something to do with Jen Shah’s arrest.

On Sunday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney and Heather had a major gossip session about Mary and Meredith’s recent thick as thieves bond.

Whitney claims that Mary told Lisa Barlow, “See what happens when you mess with my church, you wind up in jail,” when the two discussed Jen’s arrest.

This tidbit of info made both Whitney and Heather believe that Mary had something to do with the feds arresting Jen.

“That’s what it frickin’ sounds like, right?” said Whitney. “Either she really is God, or she knew something. She wasn’t on the bus that day with us.”

The two also found it suspicious that neither Meredith nor Mary joined them on the bus ride to Vail, Colorado.

“It’s not crazy that Mary might have something to do with Jen’s arrest,” Heather said. “There’s no way she’s over all of the horrible things they went through last year, Jen mocking her marriage, being relentless on social media. It wouldn’t surprise me if Mary still had residual anger.”

“Meredith and Mary are tight. Meredith has Mary’s back, and those two are in cahoots completely,” Heather said before Whitney speculated, “If you go on this theory that Meredith perhaps knew something — she hired a private investigator — what if the private investigator came across something and Meredith had some sort of suspicion or knew something was going to go down and she told Mary. And that’s why Meredith and Mary were not on the bus with us.”

While this theory is super interesting, it couldn’t be further from the truth, according to Meredith.

Meredith tweeted, “The only thing I’m in “cahoots” with is my ice.”

“While I appreciate the notion that you think that I have the power to influence a decade-long FBI investigation — I had a cyber specialist investigate threatening texts sent to my son and Heather. I shared the info with H every step of the way,” she continued. “A specific person wasn’t investigated; the threats were. I doubt that a cyber specialist would be able to break into a decade-long federal investigation.”

Steve Lodge Engaged Three Months After Vicki Gunvalson Breakup; Andy Cohen, Tamra Judge, and Vicki React

That was fast!

Steve Lodge is engaged three months after splitting with Vicki Gunvalson.

In a statement to PEOPLE, the failed California gubernatorial candidate announced his engagement to girlfriend Janice Carlson, 37.

“I did ask Janis on Dec. 20 if she would become Mrs. Steve Chavez Lodge, and she happily agreed,” Steve told PEOPLE in a statement. “We will be married in April 2022.”

He added, “We are both very excited, incredibly happy, totally in love, and look forward to our life together.”

Carlson is a third-grade teacher in Orange County. She and Steve have been dating since September. The two went Instagram official with their relationship on Christmas Day. This will be Steve’s fourth marriage and Carlson’s first.

Not surprisingly, the Bravoverse was shocked by this news.

Vicki’s BFF and former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Tamra Judge told her, “you dodged a bullet” on Instagram Story.

She also dubbed Steve a “loser” by adding the song “Congratulations, You’re a Loser” to the post about Steve’s engagement.

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen showed his support on Twitter and said he hopes Vicki finds a new man in 2022.

“If @vgunvalson doesn’t find a GREAT guy this year, it won’t be a good year,” Andy wrote. “She deserves it. #FullLoveTankForVG.”

Vicki reacted to Steve’s engagement in a statement to Page Six and admitted she doesn’t wish him well.

“I really don’t want to give him any more publicity,” she shared. “He’s a fame whore.”

The OG of the OC also responded to Andy’s tweet, saying, “Thanks, @Andy, I’m starting to lose hope that there are any good SINGLE loyal guys are around anymore. What is wrong with people?”

Andy Cohen Regrets Calling Out Ryan Seacrest on New Year’s Eve Plus CNN Shuts Down Reports They’re Firing Andy Over NYE Rants

Andy Cohen only has one regret following his drunken antics on New Year’s Eve.

As we previously reported, Andy got quite tipsy while hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live – so much so that he called out competing broadcast — Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

“If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing,” he said of Seacrest and ABC’s NYE broadcast. “I’m sorry, but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.”

Now days later, Andy admits he regrets calling out Ryan.

“The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast,” Andy said on Monday’s Radio Andy. “And I really like Ryan Seacrest, and he’s a great guy, and I really regret saying that, and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it.” 

“I was continuing the Journey rant, and I just kept talking, and I shouldn’t have, and I felt bad about that, so that is the only thing,” he added.

Meanwhile, on Monday, reports began to surface that CNN wasn’t planning on inviting Andy back to host their NYE program next year.

“We claim to be the most trusted network in news, and yet CNN hires Andy Cohen to make a fool out of all of us with his New Year’s performance?” a top insider told Radar Online. “Andy doesn’t even work for CNN, and yet he has been the face of our network for the past 48 hours. It is embarrassing, and real CNN staffers are very angry.”

“Andy went too far. I think we can agree that it is CNN who look like losers,” added another top CNN source. “Nothing has been made official yet, but internally we have been told that Andy will not be invited back next year. Embarrassing himself is one thing, but embarrassing Anderson Cooper is another. It was already known that Anderson doesn’t want to host next year’s special; he would rather ring the new year in with his son. And without Anderson, thankfully, there will be no Andy Cohen.”

CNN quickly shut down this report telling E! News, “Andy said something he shouldn’t have on live tv. We’ve addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year.”

Kelly Dodd Claims Bravo Fined her $16k for Wearing ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ Hat

Kelly Dodd alleges that Bravo fined her thousands of dollars for rocking a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat at her bridal shower in October of 2020.

“I got fined for wearing a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat, and I didn’t even buy it,” Kelly claimed during the latest episode of David Yontef’s “Behind The Velvet Rope” podcast.

She added, “It was given to me — and I didn’t wear it on the show. It was at my bridal shower, and I got dinged for that.”

When asked how much she was fined, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star said it was a total of $16,000. She noted that the fine was for wearing the hat and “general behavior.”

“I got $16,000, and they wouldn’t tell me why, but I know one of those reasons was wearing that hat,” she explained. “It was general behavior [though], of why I got charged [$16,000].”

According to Kelly, the network wouldn’t give her “specifics” on what else she was being fined over.

“But I know I caused them a lot of grief because they did promote BLM so much,” she said.

As you may recall, Kelly caused an uproar when she posted photos of herself in the controversial “Drunk Wives Matter” on Instagram. Many felt that hat was mocking the Black Lives Matter movement.

Kelly later apologized after receiving backlash from Bravo fans.

“Over the weekend at my bridal shower, I got lots of gifts and briefly displayed them,” Kelly wrote on Twitter at the time. “One was a hat with a play on words since I’m about to be a wife; I’m on a Housewives TV show and might be drunk once in a while.”

She continued, “It was not intended to offend or make any kind of statement. Of course, I support black lives and racial equality! Thank you all. Love, Kelly.”

Brandi Glanville Denies Saying She Was ‘Snubbed’ From Andy Cohen’s Baby Shower

Not so fast! Brandi Glanville is shutting down claims she said she was “snubbed” from Andy Cohen’s 2019 baby shower.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently admitted she was “very upset” when she learned she wasn’t invited to Andy’s baby shower.

“I was very upset. I asked. I’m like, ‘Why am I not invited?’” Brandi explained on the December 28 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast.

She added that Andy told her: “‘It’s only for like, the full-time girls for now.’ And my feelings were hurt and then I saw that Danielle Staub was there. I’m like, ‘She was not a full-time housewife!’”

Media outlets then reported that Brandi felt “snubbed,” which she denies.

Brandi took to Twitter to clarify her comments on Tamra and Teddi’s podcast.

“I never said I was snubbed from @Andy baby shower. I just said I wasn’t invited because it was only for full-time housewives of that season. I was bummed, but if he invited every ex housewife ever, they would have had to rent out the bitcoin center!” Brandi wrote.

The Real Housewives of Orange County may be celebrating their sweet sixteen this season, but former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville isn’t a fan of the current cast.

The unfiltered Bravoleb appeared on the December 28 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, where she shared all of her feelings about the RHOC cast.

Unlike RHOC fans, Brandi isn’t feeling the return of Heather ‘Fancy Pants’ Dubrow. And it turns out Heather isn’t the only OC Housewife Brandi can’t stand. She also takes major issue with Shannon Beador, who she feels is acting, and Emily Simpson, who she thinks is dull as paint.

“I can’t with Heather. I can’t with Shannon either. I feel like she’s acting,” Brandi confessed.

Brandi might not be a fan of Heather, but she does like Heather’s luxurious home and how she’s “so uptight.”

“I like that Heather is so uptight. To see the house and all that, that is insanity,” Brandi admitted. “But I feel like I was ready for her to go when she left last time, so I don’t really know why they brought her back.”

She continued, “Emily to me is boring. I like Gina [however] I feel like there’s something… I feel like she’s madly in love with her ex-husband still, and I feel sorry for the guy that she’s with. That’s what it looks like to me… Just the way she talks about him, though, and she’s like, ‘But this new guy, he’s great.’ I don’t know.”
