Vicki Gunvalson Claims She Got Fired From RHOC Because She Got ‘Too Expensive’ While Kelly Dodd Says ‘Cheap Talent’ Equals Horrible Ratings

Vicki Gunvalson knows exactly why she was fired from the Real Housewives of Orange County after 14 seasons.

The OG of the OC appeared on former RHOC co-star Kelly Dodd’s podcast, Rick and Kelly Show, and revealed why she believes she was fired from the OC Housewives franchise.

According to Vicki, Bravo kicked her to the curb because she got “too expensive” for the network after fourteen years.

“I did get expensive,” Vicki admitted. “I’m okay with that – I’m worth it.”

“The ratings were the best they’d ever been when we [meaning her and Kelly Dodd] were on [the show],” she added.

Vicki notes that Bravo gets what they pay for and that cheap Housewives equal horrible ratings.

“You get what you pay for,” she quipped. “So you pay for a new girl coming in, less than $50k. I don’t even know what the new girls are coming in at anymore.”

Kelly added: “That’s why the ratings aren’t there. It’s cheap talent.”

The OG OC Housewife then confessed that she misses the show and that it hurts to see Tamra Judge back on the show without her.

“But I miss it. I know they are filming right now. I think it’s two weeks in. Tamra just got back from Italy, and it hurts. It stings a little bit,” Vicki explained.

One Bravo fan on Twitter quickly noted: “The ratings were dropping with both of them still on. Vicki became stale, and Kelly became stale and toxic. I’d rather have no housewives shows than giving loud idiots platforms to be loud and idiotic.”

Meanwhile, Love Andy C added: “I’ll admit, VG was definitely phoning it in towards the end.”

I’ll always have a soft spot for Vicki on RHOC because she is the OG of the OC, but she had no storyline on the show after the whole Brooks Ayers cancer scam/drama. I think Bravo should have made her take a season or two off, then brought her back onto the show. While I’m sure Vicki’s salary was large, I think Bravo would have continued paying it if she had kept brining great storylines season after season.

RHOC is set to return for season 17 in late 2022 or early 2023.

Lisa Rinna is always outspoken, but this time around, she’s using her loose lips to apologize.

The soap star turned reality TV star apologized to Dorit Kemsley for her “love and support” after she had a “breakdown” at her Homeless Not Toothless charity event.

On Wednesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa had a screaming fit before breaking down into a sobbing meltdown.

“What a beautiful party! I’m so sorry my breakdown happened during your most spectacular evening,” Lisa commented on Dorit’s Instagram post, which previewed the drama from Wednesday’s episode.

“Thank you for all of the love and support, Dorit. I love you,” she added.

Lisa didn’t stop there and went on to thank the entire RHOBH cast for “rallying around” her amid her “breakdown” and the loss of her mom, Lois Rinna, in November 2021.

“These women are there when you really need them the most,” Lisa wrote on a photo of her, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards, and Sutton Stracke from the August 10th episode.

“Thank you for rallying around me when I was in so much pain acting out. This is what love is,” Lisa continued.

She then shared Papio of Pop‘s post, which featured the same photo as Lisa’s post, with the caption: “We should all gather around [Lisa Rinna] like this and show her the love [and] support she deserves. Grief is an unimaginable feeling that should be met with grace, understanding, [and] so much love. We love you, Rinna!”

When Joe Gorga & Melissa Gorga made a statement that they wouldn’t attend Teresa Giudice’s wedding days before – everyone wanted to know why. We exclusively gave you details on what happened that led to their decision. It involved Margaret telling her former BFF Laura Lee Jansen that Melissa Gorga allegedly cheated on Joe Gorga with a man named Nick Barrotta. Margaret told Laura in confidence, and unfortunately, they had a fallout. Laura was upset with Margaret, so she asked to meet up with Jennifer & Teresa and let them know about this rumor. No one believed the rumor, but the ladies were shocked Margaret was saying this. Teresa & Louie end up telling her brother off camera and makes him aware that Margaret has said this.

We later find out that during filming of the season finale – the rumor gets brought up after Jennifer tells the newest housewife, Danielle Cabral, who later confronts Melissa on camera. Melissa blames the entire thing on Teresa, and Joe Gorga ends up charging at Louie.

We are now exclusively learning that Melissa has known about this rumor since February! Sources close to production tell us,

“Teresa & Louie confronted her brother Joe about the rumor that Margaret had told her BFF about earlier this year prior to filming off camera. Teresa never believed it but wanted Joe to know. Joe went back home and told his wife everything. Melissa then called up Margaret and confronted her. Melissa did not want this on camera as she knew her children would see this. Everyone on the cast except the newbies have known about this situation since prior to filming. Melissa never confronted Teresa about the rumor or the fact that she spoke to Joe Gorga about it. It wasn’t until the season finale that the new housewife Danielle tells Melissa what Jennifer told her and Melissa immediately goes after Teresa and blames her for this entire rumor accusing her of being behind it. That then causes Joe Gorga to charge at Louie to the point that he has to be restrained. They both then make the decision they won’t be coming to the wedding even though they were aware of this rumor since prior to filming and never confronted Teresa on/off camera until the season finale a few days before her wedding. Teresa had no idea that the rumor was going to be on camera as she was distracted with her wedding and it was Jennifer who told newbie Danielle on camera.”

RHOBH Recap: Lisa Rinna Freaks Out on Sutton Then Breaks Down In Tears Over Her Mom’s Death At Dorit’s Charity Dinner

There was a slow build-up to the crazy drama that went down at Dorit Kemsley’s Homeless Not Toothless charity event.

Dorit and PK decided to throw a charity party that benefits homeless people without teeth in order to help them get back their smiles.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple invited everyone, including a mystery guest, over to their house for the event. Before the mystery guest could be revealed, Lisa Rinna and Sutton Stracke got into a verbal spat that was initiated by Kyle Richards.

Kyle wanted to make sure Sutton and Lisa were on good terms after their drama at Lisa’s wine tasting luncheon. The RHOBH OG asked Lisa if she really told Sutton to “get the f*** out” since she had heard two different versions of the story. Lisa denied that she told Sutton to “get the f*** out,” but Sutton insists she did. Kyle urged them to clear the air, which resulted in Lisa freaking out a la her iconic moment in Amsterdam.

Initally Lisa tried to explain why she told Sutton to get out of her house, but her calmness quickly exploded into a screaming freak-out. Lisa was pissed that Sutton didn’t apologize to Harry for her claims the Hollywood couple never said thank you for getting their tickets to Elton John’s charity event.

In her confessional, Sutton reads the apology she sent to Harry via text message after the wine tasting event.

Dorit interrupts and asks the ladies to press pause on their drama for a special surprise. Melissa Ethridge came out and sang her iconic song, “Come To My Window,” which pleased all of the ladies, so much so that Lisa stopped fighting with Sutton and apologized.

Lisa’s anger toward Sutton quickly washed away, and she broke down in tears over the death of her mom, Lois Rinna. The former soap star admitted that she’s “in a lot of pain” following her mom’s death and that she’s taking it out on the wrong people. She apologized to Sutton for her outburst and admitted that Sutton didn’t deserve it.

Sutton accepted Lisa’s apology and said it was okay, but Lisa owned it her behavior and told Sutton it wasn’t okay. Lisa broke down in tears, and the ladies all rallied around her in support.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Bravo.

Word on the street is that Charrisse Jackson is returning to the Real Housewives of Potomac in an official capacity.

Turns out the OG Potomac Housewife may be holding a champagne flute when season 7 premieres in late 2022 or early 2023.

According to Faces By Bravo, Charrisse’s return to RHOP is pretty much set in stone.

“I’m shook,” the gossip outlet said on Wednesday via Twitter. “I’m hearing that not only is Charrisse back in an official capacity  – she might have snagged her flute back!”

“Really? Cause she was hardly seen in a lot of the group events they had,” one fan pointed out.

“It seems like she snagged a [flute] unless they’re giving friends a cast [photo] too,” Faces by Bravo replied.

Other fans noted that if Charrisse joined RHOP, there would be eight full-time Housewives, which may be too many.

“Y’all can try to say 8 Housewives is a good idea, but the fact of the matter is it’s never worked. Tbh, I don’t think it ever will. It’s not about everyone clocking in the group scenes; it’s about there not being enough screentime for everyone to tell their story,” one fan quipped.

Faces By Bravo didn’t disagree, noting, “I bet Charrisse will end up a FOH — However, this is one cast that I think would actually benefit from 8 wives. We have a lot of long-running OGs/vets. More wives means less personal storylines and less personal pressure. More group dynamics.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta OG NeNe Leakes continues to battle with Andy Cohen on social media.

Publicly the fight has been one-sided, but NeNe hints that she has recordings she wants to release to the public.

On Wednesday, NeNe unleashed her frustrations on Twitter, taking particular aim at Bravo and her former boss.

She tweeted, “I am happy I was able to help all the other black women get job opportunities that are working for them. He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years.”

NeNe added, “I want to release these voice recordings so bad.”

In another tweet, she accused the network of preventing her from getting any new work.

“They stop every job, every job opportunity that comes my way,” NeNe claimed.

Joe Giudice wishes his ex-wife Teresa Giudice the best in her new marriage to Louie Ruelas. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple recently opened up to Us Weekly about Teresa and Louie’s wedding. “Teresa looked like a princess,” Joe said. “I’m very happy for her. She deserves all the happiness in the world,” Joe admitted. “I think Lou is a good guy. Anything negative being said out there are just rumors that I don’t engage in. Until I personally discover otherwise, he’s OK in my book.” While Teresa’s second wedding was much more extravagant than her wedding to Joe in 1999, her ex-husband notes that both weddings were “equally as special and beautiful in their own unique ways.” When it comes to Joe and Melissa Gorga skipping Teresa and Louie’s wedding, Joe admits he was “surprised” by the news. “They’re unpredictable,” he added. “I wish [Luis] luck with his new in-laws.” As for Joe, he’s in a “very good place” and “at peace” with himself and everything in his life. “I’m just dating around for now. I’m focusing on new projects and my petition to get back to the U.S. to be with my family that my manager, Dominique Enchinton [of Dominton Talent House] is working on. You might very possibly be seeing me on TV again in the future,” he hinted.  “I’m excited for the next chapter. I’ve learned a lot these last years. I’ve learned to truly live.” RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.

The drama in the Garden State is uglier than any Bravo fan could have imagined.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey went old-school while filming the season 13 finale. The RHONJ franchise is known for its family brawls and high-stakes drama. Teresa Giudice infamously flipped a table during the season one finale. While season three kicked off with Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga getting charging each other at a baptism of all places.

In recent years the drama in the Garden State has cooled down a bit – don’t get me wrong, there’s still plenty of drama, but it’s more mature, I guess you could say. Or better yet, the cast has learned how to fight with words instead of their fists or random objects.

However, that all changed while the cast filmed the season 13 finale episode last Thursday night.

At the party, Melissa Gorga blamed Teresa for a rumor about her allegedly cheating on Joe coming to light on camera.

A source previously told AllAboutTRH that “Louie was upset that Teresa was the one being blamed, and Joe Gorga ended up charging at Louie to the point that he had to be restrained.” 

Now, more details about Louie and Joe’s fight are coming to the surface.

“Joe charged at Luis during filming after long-simmering tensions came to a head. Luis was upset that [Joe’s wife] Melissa unfairly blamed Teresa for spreading rumors about her marriage. But Teresa and Luis only talked to Joe about these rumors off camera to protect them,” a source tells The Sun.

Another source reveals that Joe and Luis “had to be fully restrained by security” while filming.

“Somehow, a physical brawl broke out, but security stopped it from escalating further,” the source added.

RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.

Turns out Tamra Judge has NO interest in getting involved in the drama of the Garden State.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star shut down a request from the husband of Margaret Josephs’ ex-BFF, Laura Marasca Jensen, to have her on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast.

On a recent episode of Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Tamra and co-host Teddi Mellencamp dished on all the drama going down in the Garden State.

The ladies discussed Marge’s ex-BFF, Laura, doing anything and everything she can to get on the show, including creating drama among the cast.

While the two dubbed Laura and her husband “desperate,” Tamra also revealed that Laura’s husband reached out to her on Twitter.

“That ex-best friend’s husband reached out to me,” Tamra explained. She noted that Laura’s husband wanted her to come on Tamra and Teddi’s podcast and get the “real dirt” out there.

Tamra dubbed Laura and her husband “dirty” and “desperate.” 

The returning OC Housewife insisted that she ignored and deleted the post but turns out that’s not exactly true.

“Hi- not sure if you’ve seen all the Marge drama with her childhood friend? My wife is that person- any chance you’d give her a fair chance to explain her side of the story on your podcast??” Laura’s husband tweeted at Tamra.

She replied, “No.”
