RHONJ alum Joe Giudice went after his former in-laws, Joe and Melissa Gorga, in a series of Instagram posts.
On Tuesday, Joe shared a message on his Instagram Story about how kids remember who was there for them during difficult times.
The post read:
“Joe Giudice posted on Instagram : Kids will always remember who showed up. Not who made a Facebook post or who texted once or twice a year. They will remember who bothered to rearrange their schedule, to make inconvenient choices, and who made them a priority”.
It seems that the post was directed at Joe and Melissa, who have claimed multiple times that they were there for Joe and his four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, while Teresa Giudice was in prison.
Yet, the Giudice girls have made it clear that they do not remember Joe and Melissa being there for them at all during that time in their life.
Gabriella and Gia vocalized their frustration with Melissa and Joe over their claims.
In a scene from season 12, the two explain that they have no memory of Melissa being there for them when their mom was in prison.
They also discuss how their dad’s family helped them out all the time but never felt the need to brag about it.
“Credit shouldn’t be given where it’s not earned, I feel,” Gabriella tells her mom and her new husband, Louie Ruelas. “And also rest in peace, Nona and Nono, but [does] dad’s family flaunt that they were there for us? They don’t.”
Gia adds: “If you were genuinely there for someone, it just should feel good in your heart. Gabriella, I don’t know, maybe if she did one thing, I don’t know. I don’t even remember.”
Meanwhile, Joe didn’t stop there. He went on to throw shade at “people,” aka Joe and Melissa, who “talk shit” behind his back but are nice to his face.
“Put me in a room with the same people who talk shit about me and watch how friendly they become.”
This post seems to be referring to Joe’s recent run-in with Joe Gorga in the Bahamas. While the Gorgas were vacationing in the Bahamas, they bumped into Joe at the Baha Mar resort. Gorga filmed his interaction with his ex-brother-in-law and posted it on Instagram.
The post made waves on social media; however, not everyone was thrilled to see the former brothers-in-law reunite. Gia wrote a scathing comment under her uncle’s post, calling him an “opportunist.”
Gia commented:
“This is honestly comical knowing you were with, for not even 5 minutes, and we’re able to have somebody take a video of the interaction. Meanwhile, all you have done is talked so poorly about my father. You are such an opportunist to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see my father and use it for a post.”
