VH1 quoted Love for saying, “You’re either gonna love me or hate me, there’s no in between.” That’s when a viewer responded and said, “that sounds like what Danielle said on Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Season five of Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently filming, and one of the questions on my mind is what is going to happen with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Giorga?! The two obviously did not leave off on good terms last season. Melissa said she was done with Teresa Giudice forever, and Teresa Giudice basically said ‘well, fine by me’.. A source tells Us Weekly that the two ladies came together earlier this month at a Hurricane Sandy relief effort, but “stayed on separate sides of the room!” The source also predicted that Teresa was “gonna flip” upon hearing the news of Melissa’s new book deal! It seems that since this charity event, things may have changed up a bit in filming. Teresa today took to her Twitter to send a very nice message to her sister in law Melissa. Teresa tweeted, “Congrats to my sis-in-law The current status of Teresa and Melissa’s relationship is unclear. While they had a falling out last season and stayed on separate sides of the room at a recent charity event, Teresa recently sent a congratulatory message to Melissa on Twitter, indicating a possible improvement in their relationship.

It seems that every year we get a new article that claims to know the salaries of the Real Housewives on the various franchises of the hit show by Bravo. This new article from Star Magazine is reporting that fan favorite Teresa Giudice of RHONJ is the highest paid Housewife of all time! Following Teresa are Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer of RHONY, Vicki Gunvalson from RHOC and NeNe Leakes from RHOA! How much does the insider claim they make per season? Star says Teresa rakes in a whopping $600,000 per season making her the highest paid Housewife! Ramona and Luann reportedly make $500,000 per season, whereas Housewife O.G. Vicki makes $450,000. In fourth place, allegedly is NeNe Leakes who makes $350,000. (Radar reported earlier this year that NeNe made the most at $750,000 per season!) I really just don’t believe this. While I believe Teresa is definitely a top-earner, I don’t think she makes more than NeNe simply because RHOA is the highest rated franchise and NeNe is a bigger breakout star than Teresa! I can not wait for this to premiere! The new season hits screens January 6, 2013. I have missed this show too much.

It seems like joining a Real Housewives franchise is now also bundled with your very own book deal. Melissa Gorga from Real Housewives of New Jersey is the latest to jump on the bandwagon! Melissa has announced today that she is releasing a book, titled Love, Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage.
If you couldn’t already tell from the title, Melissa thinks enough people want to know how she and Joe Gorga keep it going. She tells US Weekly, “I can’t tell you how many times Joe and I are approached by fans asking how they can have a marriage like ours. A great marriage doesn’t just happen. It’s a job.”
Melissa promises that the book will enlighten readers on “practical strategies on how to strengthen their marriage, amp up the passion, and the secrets that make my marriage as sexy and hot as it is warm and loving.”
Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Melissa saying on last season of RHONJ that she doesn’t like when Joe is all about PDA, talking about Tarzan, etc. but now she’s going to write a whole book about all of this passionate and intimate stuff between them? Anything for a lucrative deal, but can you blame her?
Her music is catchy and even I bought two of her songs, but this book? Seems like a quick way to cash in on her core fans. Congratulations to Melissa nonetheless!
