“Fashion! Turn to the left Fashion! Turn to the right Oooh, fashion!” Tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of New York was all about drama mixed with a little trouble and a pinch of fashion.

The episode kicks off with Bethenny and some of the girls meeting at Georgetown Cupcakes (Yum!) for a cupcake decorating class. Bethenny is the first to arrive followed by Sonja and Ramona. Ramona brings her own wine glasses and wine to the event, which makes Bethenny go WTF.

Dorinda meets up with the girls and their cupcake decorating turns into sexual innuendoes. Sonja reveals that she’s about to pay off her judgments and she clinks her wine glass in celebration. Now that Sonja is debt free she wants to celebrate and suggests the ladies go to Turks and Caicos for a little tropical vacation.

The ladies question if everyone is on good enough terms with each other to go on a vacation together, but they decide that everyone will just deal with their issues themselves. But the ladies still seem nervous about going on vacay with such a large group of women. Are the issues and drama of AC bound to follow the Housewives to Turks and Caicos?

Next up LuAnn meets Kristen to shop and try on clothes. The ladies talk about Ramona’s sports bar, and LuAnn throws a dig that it’s a great place to meet men. Kristen says that she heard about Bethenny questioning her trademarking #popofcolor for her nail polish line when something similar already exists. Kristen reveals that she tried to talk to Bethenny, and Bethenny just dismissed her and walked away. LuAnn lets Kristen know that Bethenny doesn’t feel like she belongs while Kristen says that everyone has tried to make Bethenny feel included.

In Carole-land, she meets up for dinner with Bethenny. Carole rocks a Forever21 sweater with “TROUBLE” written across it. In the shocker of the century, Carole reveals that she had a sex dream about Bethenny and Bethenny is more than surprised. Carole thinks the dream is a manifestation that Bethenny needs to loosen up, and this was Carole’s subconscious’ way of getting her too. Bethenny then brings up Ramona’s party asking if Carole was there. Carole then says yes and says she’s to blame for her fight with Kristen. It seems that Carole tattled to Kristen about what Bethenny said about her and her business sense.

Carole tells Bethenny that she told Kristen about how Bethenny doesn’t think Kristen’s very smart and that she’s just not that into her. Bethenny says she never called Kristen dumb but doesn’t get why she would do a nail polish line with a similar name to an already established nail brand.

Back to LuAnn and Kristen, who are now shooting photos for LuAnn’s upcoming fashion line. LuAnn and Kristen start talking about their upcoming vacation with girls when LuAnn reveals Bethenny can’t come the whole week because of her daughter. Kristen says that they chose that week because it worked specifically for Bethenny, and the can’t change the date. Finally, Kristen jokes that they will just have to go without Bethenny. Ramona, Heather, and Bethenny arrive at the shoot. The ladies talk about how they can’t change the dates, and they bring it up to Bethenny. Bethenny then says that regardless of her daughter’s recital she will be leaving the trip early. Bethenny tells the ladies how she will be away from her daughter for nine days, and then a week later she’ll be away from her for twelve days which is way too long. Bethenny breaks down and starts to cry saying she doesn’t want to be away from her daughter for 21 out of 31 days of the month. LuAnn goes to comfort Bethenny, and Bethenny says that she doesn’t want to cry anymore. Heather and Kristen say they want to support Bethenny, but they don’t know how because Bethenny won’t let them in. Again, Bethenny says she know Heather is coming from a good place, but she’s still suffocating her. Then LuAnn begins to model the clothes as does Kristen and the ladies look gorgeous doing it.

Sonja Morgan Inc and her interns are hard at work prepping and packing for the Turks and Caicos vacation. Sonja talks about her packing theories and then about how she’s gained a couple of pounds. Sonja’s stylist says that Sonja needs to step up her fashion because Bethenny is soo skinny and looks so good! Ouch!

Next we find Bethenny, Ramona, Dorinda, and LuAnn in a limo headed to an old-school Italian dinner in Queens. They have drinks and dish a little dirt on Sonja. Ramona and LuAnn say that Sonja was super drunk and was making out with two different men the night before. Dorinda says then she found Sonja draped over her boyfriend John but Dorinda says she can’t bring it up to Sonja because she probably won’t remember since she was blackout drunk. The subject of John continues as they try to guess what nationality he is. The subject of Sonja comes back around, and they question her party girl ways. Dorinda wonders if Sonja knows all these international, influential people she claims to know. Bethenny says she tries to overlook Sonja’s behavior since she’s going through a hard time. LuAnn and the ladies say they are worried about her drinking and how Sonja is when the aren’t around. Ramona says she wasn’t in reality when it came to admitting to how much Sonja was drinking. The subject of an intervention comes up, but they all agree that they can’t do it while on vacation. The ladies hope that they can get a better understanding of what shape Sonja is in on vacation. Ramona doesn’t want to discuss it anymore, and they all drop the subject.

The next day Bethenny and Ramona meet up for mani/pedi’s. Ramona reveals how much she’s been working out, and Bethenny chooses to mock Ramona and her Jane Fonda workouts. Bethenny asks if Ramona is excited about the trip and Ramona says yes, but she thinks drama will follow them. Ramona reveals that she thinks Kristen has a problem with Bethenny since she wouldn’t change the date of the trip to accommodate her. Bethenny explains the drama with Kristen to Ramona and Ramona confirms Kristen has it in for Bethenny. Ramona doesn’t think Kristen should go up against Bethenny. It’s Toes before Bros! And Hoes before Bros! for the RHONY.

It’s time for LuAnn’s party to launch her fashion line. LuAnn’s daughter Victory makes an appearance as does her son Noel. LuAnn thinks it’s important for her kids to show up to support her since she supported them for everything. The ladies slowly arrive. Dorinda says going out with the ladies is like a 12 step party with everything it involves: pre-drinks, party drinks, after party, after, after party drinks, etc. Hilarity ensues when they attempt to move the mannequins from the suite to the party room. The ladies minus Sonja, Ramona, Carole, and Bethenny talk about Bethenny’s issues, and Dorinda says that Bethenny is putting up a wall to deal with everything and that no one can take it personally. Ramona interrupts the girl talk and kicks things up a notch or two and not in a good way. Ramona comes in a calls Kristen out saying that she thought it was rude that with all Bethenny is going through for Kristen to start issues with her. Everyone is taken aback that Ramona just rolls in and starts causing drama.

Ramona continues to go off on Kristen saying Bethenny came in, and Kristen attacked her. Kristen says no she didn’t that, and then tried to explain her side. Ramona doesn’t want to hear it saying she made an effort to avoid talking to Bethenny about the trip so why couldn’t Kristen do the same. Kristen says they were talking about Bethenny so why not bring her into the conversation. Ramona says she feels protective of Bethenny and that she’s made an effort to be sensitive around her since they both are going through a tough time. Ramona then calls Kristen dumb. Kristen says that Ramona and Bethenny never tell her anything so how does she know what they are going through and if its a good time or not to talk. Everyone is appalled at Ramona calling Kristen stupid, and Heather says that what Ramona is doing to Kristen is what she’s accusing Kristen of doing to Bethenny. Kristen walks away with her wine glass intact.

This is just the tips of the iceberg when it comes to the drama and craziness on RHONY. The Turks and Caicos trip is going to be full of ridiculous drama.

Bethenny Frankel’s return to the Real Housewives of New York has been quite the wild ride. Despite Bethenny’s attempts to stay away from the drama she still found herself in the middle of it.

Recently the Skinny Girl creator opened up about returning to reality TV and interacting with the new and old Housewives. Surprisingly enough Bethenny has some very strong opinions about the difference between the old-school Housewives and the newer ones.

Bethenny revealed, “That’s the difference between old-school Housewives and newer Housewives. Newer Housewives sometimes think that we’re creating something. And we’re not on Days of Our Lives. This is called the Real Housewives. This is me living, and there’s a camera capturing that. This is not ‘We’re best friends because were doing a play together.’ And the newer girls don’t understand that as well as the older girls.”

Since her return to the show Bethenny says she has been constantly dealing with issues with old and new cast mates. “I’m new in the pack again and people don’t know how to deal with me,” she says. “And [they] want to either kind of be with me or work it out with me or talk to me or fight with me or do something with me. I really felt like I was the don, working out issues. Like I had people come and air their grievances with me. So I was putting out fires one at a time.”

I think Bethenny just wants to do reality TV her way, and for her that means not pretending to be BFF’s with the other Housewives right away.
