Brit Eady Sues Bravo for $20 Million; Claims Sexual Harassment and Defamation
by Roxanne
written by Roxanne
The drama on The Real Housewives of Atlanta just took a serious legal turn. Brit Eady, one of the Bravolebrities from the hit reality show, has filed a bombshell lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and its associated production companies, claiming the network “falsely yet unmistakably implied” she was featured in a sexually explicit poster handed out by Kenya Moore.

The incident stems from the June 2024 opening of the Kenya Moore Hair Spa, where Moore distributed promotional posters that appeared to show Eady “performing oral sex.” Although Brit Eady was not present at the salon opening, she reportedly “blew up about it when she found out.” The photo sparked instant backlash — and ultimately contributed to Moore being booted from the show.
In the legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Brit Eady alleges the image amounted to a “gendered attack,” and says Bravo knowingly “contributed to a hostile work environment” by requiring her to return to work amid the scandal. She further accuses the network of subjecting her to “unwelcome, offensive, and sexualized behavior and comments,” which she claims constitute sexual harassment.
Eady’s lawsuit, filed Thursday, doesn’t just target Bravo. She also named NBCUniversal, Truly Original, and Endemol Shine North America — claiming the companies “knowingly misled the public.” Her legal team is going after them for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and other serious charges.

Adding to the controversy, Bravo aired cast members’ reactions to the NSFW poster in an April episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 — something Eady is now demanding be taken down. She’s asking for “the immediate removal of the episode from public access,” in addition to at least $20 million in damages.
The same day the lawsuit was filed, Brit Eady took to social media to deny being the woman in the now-infamous image, telling fans she “was not the star of the NSFW posters.” She also confirmed she skipped the reunion episode, seemingly in protest of how the situation was handled.
Whether or not the lawsuit makes it to court, one thing is clear: this scandal is far from over — and it could reshape how reality TV networks handle cast controversies in the future.
Dolores Catania Struggling After 20-Pound Weight Gain, Confirms Appearance on RHORI

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania got candid during a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, revealing some deeply personal health challenges and weighing in on the buzz surrounding Bravo’s newest franchise, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

In a vulnerable moment on-air, Dolores Catania shared that her go-to weight loss medication, Mounjaro, has recently stopped working. “I’m having a really hard time right now,” she said. “My Mounjaro stopped working. I gained 20 pounds.”
While Margaret Josephs quickly reassured her that she still looks amazing, Dolores Catania admitted that she’s been struggling emotionally and even sought therapy for herself and her friends. But the conversation quickly took a more serious turn when she revealed she recently underwent a cardiac ablation due to a sudden onset of atrial fibrillation (AFib).
“I didn’t post about this yet, but I’m going to soon. I had a cardiac ablation,” she told Jeff Lewis, explaining that her heart had been “beating a lot,” prompting the procedure. Though AFib is typically associated with older adults, Dolores noted that more people her age are now experiencing it. While she carefully avoided speculating on causes, Jeff and Margaret lightly floated the idea of the COVID vaccine — a theory Dolores neither confirmed nor denied, noting doctors wouldn’t make that connection.
As a result of the procedure, Dolores is now on a hefty regimen of medications — about ten pills a day — including blood thinners like metoprolol. “It’s just a formality now,” she said, adding that she hopes to be off the meds in 90 days. The weight gain, she believes, could be linked to the medications or the break she took from weight loss injections during her recovery.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Bravo chat without a little franchise gossip. When asked about the much-rumored Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Dolores admitted she does have friends in the cast — and yes, they are bringing the drama.
“They are wild!” she laughed, though she quickly clarified she’s not joining the show full-time. “I’m not gonna be a star… I’ll visit maybe.”
Still, Dolores made it clear that while Rhode Island might be fun, Jersey holds a special place. “You’ve gotta go far to beat Jersey,” she said. “I’m not just saying that.”
SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live airs Monday through Friday at 12pm ET/PT on Radio Andy (Ch. 102), and anytime on the SiriusXM app.
Life has a way of throwing curveballs—and sometimes, surprises too. For Teddi Mellencamp, the past year has brought both. While bravely navigating a very public cancer journey, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum has found a new source of strength and support: a new relationship.

On the latest episode of her Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Teddi Mellencamp, 43, confirmed she’s “dating somebody.” Though she kept her partner’s name under wraps, she shared glowing remarks about him, calling him a “very kind” and “nice” guy who’s been especially attentive during this challenging chapter of her life. “He takes good care of me,” she said.
Interestingly, her new flame had no idea who she was when they first met. “He’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids,” she added, describing him as a “private person.” That didn’t stop the paparazzi from capturing a sweet moment between the two during a recent walk in her Los Angeles neighborhood—photos show her smiling as he embraced her and leaned in for a cheek kiss.
As for how he’s adjusting to the spotlight? Teddi Mellencamp said he’s taking it all in stride. “I asked him, like, ‘Do I even say your name?’ and he’s, like, ‘It’s really whatever you want to do, I know you’re a public person.’”
Her new relationship comes on the heels of a difficult period in both her health and love life. Just a few months ago, Teddi Mellencamp opened up about dating struggles while managing her cancer diagnosis. She shared a story about a man she briefly dated—nicknamed “Bob”—but their connection fizzled after a health scare sent her to the hospital. It was during that visit she learned she had multiple brain tumors. While she’s since undergone surgery to remove four of them, she later revealed that her cancer had unfortunately spread to her lungs.

Brit Eady Skips RHOA Reunion Taping While Kenya Moore Reacts to Not Being Invited

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is no stranger to drama, but this season’s reunion is already making headlines—before it even airs. Two notable cast members, Kenya Moore and Brit Eady, were both absent from the taping, which took place on June 5 in Atlanta.

According to PEOPLE, their reasons for missing the highly anticipated reunion were vastly different. A source close to the show revealed that Brit Eady, 37, chose not to attend amid a major falling out with the rest of the cast. Meanwhile, Kenya Moore, 54, wasn’t even invited. Bravo reportedly chose to exclude her from the event entirely.
“I’m disappointed to not be a part of the #RHOA 16 reunion taping today,” Moore wrote on Twitter, confirming her absence and addressing the controversy. “Please know I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers.”

Kenya Moore’s exclusion comes after a tumultuous season. Once the longest-running star on RHOA, her time was cut short after an explosive incident during the June 6 opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. During the event, Moore allegedly displayed explicit images from Eady’s past—a move that sparked a serious backlash and led to her suspension. She later exited the series following an internal investigation.

Behind the scenes, sources offered conflicting accounts of what really happened. One insider claimed Kenya Moore acted out of fear after Eady allegedly threatened her with a gun during a heated argument captured on camera. “Kenya was concerned for her safety, that is the truth,” the source insisted. “Never for one second did Kenya feel like she was being taken seriously for her fears. It’s unfair.”
However, a separate source close to production pushed back, saying “at no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”
The episode in question did air, and viewers saw Eady mention a “pistol” in reference to Moore. Eady has since expressed regret. “I still beat myself up, just the act that I allowed her to trigger me,” she admitted during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “There’s no excuse for what I did, for what I said. I mentioned a pistol, which I never should have. And I was wrong.”
Moore, too, has expressed remorse. Speaking on Tamron Hall in late 2024, she reflected on the incident, saying, “If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation… I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”
“I felt threatened,” Moore added. “I’ve never had a child in a situation like this before. So, that’s why it escalated to the point where I was protecting not only myself, but my child.”
With Moore and Eady both missing, the reunion featured returning faces like Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. Cynthia Bailey also made an appearance, returning as a “Friend” of the cast this season.
Bravo has yet to release a full statement about the cast shakeup but did share a seating chart confirming the absence of both Moore and Eady.
Bravo Refusing To Give Dolores Catania A Label As She Is Set to Appear On RHORI
by Roxanne

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania is making waves yet again—but this time, it’s not in the Garden State. It was reported that Dolores Catania will be appearing on Bravo’s upcoming Real Housewives of Rhode Island (RHORI), and fans have been eager to understand just how involved she’ll be. As it turns out, even Bravo may not know yet.

“Dolores will make pop-ins,” an insider told OK!. “It would be weird if she didn’t show up, as she is extremely close with one of the main cast members and has had a close friendship with her for many years.”
Although early reports suggested Dolores Catania might be appearing as a “friend of” on RHORI, the network isn’t ready to commit to any official designation. “She’s more like a long-term guest,” the source clarified. “They aren’t building the show around her being a large part of it, but she’s definitely going to be involved for sure.”
In fact, Bravo is “refusing to give her a label” altogether, suggesting her role may evolve as the season progresses. According to the insider, Catania “may come on for events in the beginning and/or at the end,” keeping her involvement flexible and open-ended.

With filming slated to begin “at the end of the month,” everything remains up in the air. “No one knows what the future holds in terms of her being there,” the insider said. “She could inevitably become a full-time cast member and move to Rhode Island if she takes off on that show.”
For now, fans will have to wait and see how Catania’s cameo-style role on RHORI plays out—and whether it could lead to a full-time move to yet another Bravo franchise.
Riley Burruss Thinks Gia Giudice Takes After Teresa Giudice As They Are Both Outspoken

Bravo fans have watched Riley Burruss grow up on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where she appeared alongside her mother, Grammy-winning singer and RHOA star Kandi Burruss. Now, Riley is stepping into her own spotlight with Next Gen NYC, Bravo’s new reality show following a group of ambitious Gen Zers—some of whom are the children of iconic Housewives—as they chase dreams in New York City.

In an interview with DECIDER, Riley Burruss, now 22 and a recent NYU graduate, opened up about her unexpected journey into the Bravo limelight. “I never thought I’d end up following in my mom’s footsteps,” she admitted.

Riley is joined on Next Gen NYC by three other Bravo offspring: Brooks Marks (son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks), Ariana Biermann (daughter of RHOA alum Kim Zolciak), and Gia Giudice (daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey legend Teresa Giudice).
When asked who she’s grown closest to on the show, Riley said, “I was already close to Brooks before so it was easy to continue that relationship. I hadn’t seen Ariana in over 10 years, so that was a relationship that really evolved the most.”
As for who reminds her the most of their famous mom? Riley pointed to Gia Giudice. “I say, like, probably Gia is most like her mom,” she said. “I don’t really know her mom that well, but I just feel like from what I’ve seen, I feel they’re both very outspoken.”
With a mix of old friendships and new dynamics, Next Gen NYC promises an inside look at what happens when Bravo kids grow up—and grow into their own stories.

Gia Giudice is no stranger to the spotlight — she’s grown up in front of Bravo’s cameras thanks to her mom, Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now, at 24, she’s stepping into her own with a new show, a demanding schedule, and a potential big move.

The reality star is one of the fresh faces leading Bravo’s new series Next Gen NYC, which premiered June 3. The show follows a group of young adults, many with Bravo ties, as they build lives and careers in New York City. For Gia, who’s been splitting her time between New Jersey and Manhattan, filming has added a whole new layer to her already packed calendar.
“My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC,” she told TODAY.com at the premiere party on June 2. “It picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it. It’s just my career kind of started picking up and my brand started growing.”
The constant back-and-forth between her hometown in New Jersey and the city has taken its toll. “It’s a lot,” she admitted. “It’s super exhausting.”
Now, Gia Giudice is planning to settle into the city more permanently. “I think in August, I’m really going to start looking at apartments and moving into something in September,” she said. While she hasn’t decided exactly where she’ll land, she’s weighing her options: “I’m either going to do Manhattan or Jersey City. I’m gonna figure it out.”

Still, she’s not planning to completely give up her Jersey roots. “I’ll still spend my weekend at home, maybe every other weekend at home. I have to see my Bella,” she said, referencing her beloved dog.
Though stepping into a new series might be nerve-wracking for some, Gia Giudice says she felt at home in front of the camera. “I wasn’t honestly scared. My life has been on the cameras for so long,” she explained. “I’m so open with my audience, and I just kept doing that on Next Gen.”
And while the show certainly brings drama — it is Bravo, after all — Gia Giudice says it’s not quite the same as the high-stakes conflicts seen on Housewives. “It’s not as intense — as a friend group in their 20s, figuring it out, going through the motions,” she said. “So the drama is like normal friendship drama.”
Catch Next Gen NYC Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, with next-day streaming on Peacock
