Kyle Richards Reveals How RHOBH Co-Star Erika Jayne Is Coping After ‘The Housewife and the Hustler’

Hard times in the 90210!

Kyle Richards is opening up about how her co-star and good friend Erika Jayne following the bombshell documentary The Housewife and the Hustler, which detailed Erika and estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal woes.

“I mean, you know, obviously it’s a hard time,” Kyle told Access Hollywood on Wednesday, June 15. “But she’s doing OK.”

Accoridng to court documents, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple “are on the verge of financial collapse and locked in a downward spiral of mounting debts and dwindling funds.”

In December 2020, Erika and Tom were accused of embezzling settlement money intended for the victims of families killed in a 2018 plane crash.

Erika maintains that she was unaware of Tom’s financial and legal issues. The RHOBH star has to be legally charged with anything.

Despite the drama, Erika’s co-workers continue to support her and insist that her career as a Beverly Hills Housewife is secure.

“I don’t think that documentary will affect her future on the show,” Andy Cohen said on Wednesday during SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I will say the idea that Danielle Staub and Dana Wilkey are the experts in this documentary about Erika is questionable at best. So I kind of realized I wasn’t gonna learn anything new from them about Erika.”

Meanwhile, Kyle recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she’s not here to “defend” Erika but to “support” her friend.

“To me, it’s easy to judge someone on reality television,” Kyle remarked. “She’s someone that has dealt with that for years, even before reality television was a part of her life. So, when the audience watches the show, they have to remember, this was six months ago. It was literally unfolding as we were filming. Every day it was another headline, another story coming out, and some of them were devastating, and I’m sure some people think, ‘Oh, she knew…’ and all that shady stuff they’re talking about. But you really don’t know, and if you know Erika, you think, ‘Well, why would she have known all of this stuff?’”

“I don’t feel that Tom Girardi, one of the biggest attorneys in the world, was going home and sharing things happening at his firm with his wife,” she added. “That’s not the relationship they had, but you’re going to see a lot of that unfold, and she has a very, very difficult time. It’s a very difficult time in her life right now.”

Kyle also noted that there’s a big difference between defending and supporting a friend.

“I’m not defending because I don’t know anything,” she says. “I don’t know. I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘I know for a fact, so I’m going to defend…’ No. I don’t know, so I’m there to support, not to defend.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

REPORT: Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga Bury The Hatchet For Good

From Christmas sprinkle cookies to stripper accusations to Christening brawls and more, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have endured their fair share of drama on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

A new report claims that the RHONJ co-stars and sisters-in-law have finally buried the hatchet for good.

For years, Melissa and Teresa’s squabbles have often taken center stage on RHONJ. During season 11, the two infamously got into a screaming match, resulting in a cheese plate flying everywhere.

However, it seems that over the past year, the two have worked on their up and down relationship. According to Star, the two looked extremely chummy on their flight home from filming The Real Housewives All-Stars in Turks and Caicos.

Now a source reveals that the two are getting along better than ever.

“They’re finally on good terms,” says the insider. “All has been forgiven.”

Apparently, there was a lot to forgive, especially in connection to Melissa and Teresa’s most recent spat. The fight stemmed from Teresa’s ex-husband Joe Giudice bashing Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, in the press.

But the bad blood goes back to before Melissa ever joined RHONJ. The drama first started at the RHONJ season 2 reunion when former RHONJ star Danielle Staub accused Teresa of never acknowledging the birth of her nephew Gino Gorga.

Insiders credit the recent thaw between Melissa and Teresa on major life changes, including the loss of Gorga patriarch Giacinto in March 2020.

“They’ve been through some rough times,” says the insider. “But they understand each other better now.”

This newfound peace means knowing when to give up. “It was so important to me to use logic and to explain to [Teresa] why she’s wrong,” Melissa recently said. “But I’ve learned she doesn’t get my point.”

“She used to push me more,” Melissa added before noting, “She doesn’t do that anymore.”

While there’s currently peace and calm between the Giudices and Gorgas, a source says fans shouldn’t count out future family drama.

“That’s not to say one of them won’t lose it in the future,” says the insider. “They’re still Jersey girl.”

Season 12 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to premiere on Bravo in early 2022.

If you thought Erika secretly filing for divorce from Tom Girardi after 22 years of marriage was cold – wait until you hear about Sutton’s story!

In a never before scene clip, captured via Instagram by QueensofBravo, Sutton reveals that she and her husband were separated; however, she had thought they would work through their issues. Sutton revealed that her husband had showed up for her birthday party, even bringing a cake after secretly filing for divorce hours before. Sutton had no idea until her then-husband called her the next day and told her to lawyer up. Sutton jokingly stated that it’s why she was always crying; however, I’m sure there was some truth in it. I know Sutton’s delivery isn’t always great but I do think she has a big heart and is obviously hurt about what happened in her marriage. You can see it in Garcelle’s expression that she felt for her girlfriend as she also has gone through a very difficult divorce. I think it’s great that Sutton is making new girlfriends as there’s nothing like a good group of girls to help you through.

Leah McSweeney Says Ramona Singer And Sonja Morgan Didn’t Want Her On RHONY; Claims Calls Were Made To Bravo Execs

Too much to handle?

It turns out Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan didn’t think Leah McSweeney was the right fit for the Real Housewives of New York.

During Leah’s freshman season on RHONY, Ramona and Sonja tried to get Leah kicked off the show in the middle of filming season 12.

Leah revealed this all during an interview with Stylecaster. She also revealed which co-star had her back during the entire ordeal.

The Married to the Mob founder admitted that the season 12 cast trip to Newport, RI was an emotional tipping point for her. Leah claims that Sonja and Ramona attempted to pull their weight with Bravo executives to get her removed from the show.

“After Rhode Island, I left disheveled and broken. Ramona and Sonja didn’t want me on the show after that trip. They’re going to get so mad I’m saying this. There were phone calls made to executives saying I’m not a good fit,” Leah explained.

“I get too crazy when I drink, which is interesting considering how they get,” Leah said, before noting, “It was rough. ”

She then admitted that former co-star Dorinda Medley was the New York Housewife supporting her the most during the whole ordeal.

“I remember waking up and calling Dorinda being like, ‘I don’t feel good.’ She’s like, ‘I know that feeling. Don’t worry. It’s going to be fine. You’re going to go to this tea party, and you’re going to make it right.’ She was very maternal in a lot of ways,” she added.

The other Housewife in Leah’s corner was good friend Tinsley Mortimer, which is odd considering Tinsley was feuding with Dorinda at the time.

Speaking of Dorinda and Tinsley’s feud, which ultimately led to Dorinda being let go from the show, Leah says she found out about Dorinda’s exit from RHONY the same way fans did.

“I found out at the same time as everyone else,” she said, “She’s obviously so beloved. She was really there for me last season. Not just on camera, but off-camera.”

Kelly Dodd ‘Cried So Hard’ For ‘Victims’ in Erika Jayne Documentary; Hopes Erika Will ‘Do the Right Thing’

Kelly Dodd is never one to bite her tongue so it’s not surprising to hear she has quite a bit to say about Erika Jayne.

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star gave her two cents on Hulu’s The Housewife and Hustler which explores Erika and estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal and financial woes amid their divorce.

Tom and Erika have been named in a $2 million class-action lawsuit claiming fraud and embezzlement in connection to the 2018 Lion Air plane crash that killed all 189 on board.

PC Edelson, the law firm representing the families of the victims, has accused the RHOBH couple of divorcing to “fraudulently protect” their money as they’re “on the verge of financial collapse.”

“I just watched that last night and I cried so hard for those victims,” Kelly commented on Page Six‘s Instagram post about Erika’s new rental home. “Why Did her lawyers drop her? If I were her I would sell all my stuff and give it to those victims that were hustled for 40 years. Act in good faith …”

“Kelly met Erika at Bravocon in 2019 and says ‘she was really nice’ and sent her a pair of her shoes from her shoe line,” a source explained to Page Six.

Meanwhile, Kelly told Page Six in a statement that she hopes Erika will “do the right thing”

“Whether she knew or not at the time, she knows now and I still hope she’ll do the right thing,” Kelly told Page Six via her rep.

Andy Cohen Reveals Why Bravo Decided to Fire Braunwyn Windham-Burke From RHOC Plus Braunwyn Admits She’s Still ‘Heartbroken’ Over Getting the Axe

The Big Daddy of Bravo, Andy Cohen, reveals why Bravo decided to fire Braunwyn Windham-Burke ahead of the Real Housewives of Orange County 16th season.

Andy says that the network didn’t feel that Braunwyn was in the “healthiest” spot to continue sharing her life on reality TV.

“I will say, regarding Braunwyn, I really give it up to her and commend her for being so open and letting us in, especially relating to her journey with sobriety,” Andy stated on RadioAndy. “She was going through some really serious life stuff on the show and she didn’t shy away from sharing with us, which I always appreciate.”

“Listening to her at the reunion made [us] feel like, maybe at this moment in time, being on TV wasn’t the healthiest spot for she and her family,” he shared. “I think she was dealing with some real stuff with herself, with her marriage, with her children. It was a lot.”

Meanwhile, Braunwyn recently admitted that she’s still heartbroken over getting axed from RHOC.

“It sucks. I was really looking forward to showing the other side,” Braunwyn confessed.

She added that she’s most hurt by Andy.

“I haven’t spoken to him. I think that’s what hurt me so much,” she said. “I was not in the healthiest place at the reunion. I was less than a year sober. I was still struggling a lot. There was a lot of tension with my cast. I knew what I was getting into and it wasn’t hard.”

“Although I wasn’t in a great place [then], I’ve gotten so much better by doing the work. And I think we all go through moments in our life that are tough. We’ve all had, you know, mental breakdowns or times in our life where we’re not OK, but we get better,” she continued. “We do the work. And then we heal. And I wish someone had just said, ‘Hey, what’s going on now? How are you healing? How are you doing?’ Because where I was six months ago and where I am now are so different. So that did hurt just because no one took the time to call.”

RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.
