Summer weather is on its way!
Also heating up right now is the relationship between Vanderpump Rules stars, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. The SURvers relationship is up and down, but Brittany’s motto for them right now is: “New Summer, New Us.”
Their relationship hit a little bump in the road when he had a fling with Faith Stowers – which was all played out on the show. They seem to always be off and on, hot and cold. According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Brittany recently defended her relationship with Jax to all of the critics. Brittany said, “I understand when people say they’re wondering what am I doing, which I get that because I didn’t even think I wanted to be with Jax. It was a constant battle for me too. Sometimes I loved him so much. He was my very best friend. I couldn’t imagine not being around him. And then sometimes I hated him, couldn’t even look at him.”
Sometimes it’s been very hard for Brittany with this relationship. She explained, “It’s just a very confusing time and I just try to let people know, like, ‘Hey this is my relationship.’ I’m the one that’s going through it. If we end up not working out, we don’t work out. But I’m the one who’s gonna have to deal with it, not these random strangers that’s never met either one of us.”
It seems like Brittany often has to defend her relationship with Jax, so I feel bad for her. I have to say, she does handle it really well. Even when she made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live awhile back, people were hard on her about dating him and she stayed really polite and respectful. You have to give her credit for that! Brittany seems like a sweet girl and if she wants to be with Jax, I think everyone needs to get over it and let her be.
