On Wednesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey – we see as Joe Giudice gives Teresa a call and gets a bit inappropriate. Once he finds out she is with her girlfriends he asks Dolores to find Teresa a doctor to date like she did. Speaking to Bravo’s After Show, Teresa was asked whether Joe Giudice was serious or joking. Dolores chimes in and says, “I think both.” Teresa agrees while Dolores explained, “I was shocked when he said that but it was the first time I heard him talk like that. I have known them since they met. I think he wants her to find a credible guy that will take care of her. What ex-husband wouldn’t?” Dolores adds, “Joe’s tone with you has been wrong many many times.”
Teresa and Dolores then both say that Italian men do get a pass with how they speak to women but no more while Dolores says at one time she didn’t know any better.
In a different After Show, Jackie explains that the ladies sometimes use old school to justify a certain type of behavior.
Teresa even opens up for the first time about the time she watched Joe Giudice on a call in Napa Valley telling someone on the phone that his wife is the C-word. She says she was shocked, “He has never said that word to my face. I thought they inserted that because Joe has never called me that word before and I was telling Andy you guys better remove that and he’s like Teresa that came out of his mouth. And I was shocked because he’s never said that to my face.”
Meanwhile, Melissa says she never gave Joe Gorga a pass and that he’s never spoken to her like how Joe Giudice has to Teresa or it would be a problem.
Teresa says when it comes to Joe – instead of fighting back – she usually would just try to diffuse the situation. Teresa says it’s so weird but he would only talk to her like that for cameras because when they were alone he would not talk like that. She says that in front of people and in front of cameras he acted a certain way but she would rip him a new one when the cameras were gone.
I think Joe Giudice has been going through a downward spiral for most of the show and his insecurities have been pouring out. That is why he always would lash out on Teresa. Sometimes two people just are not meant to be together. I am glad with 2020 here he has vowed to be a better man.
