“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!” Rinna said in a statement, according to PEOPLE.
This decision comes as Rinna’s RHOBH contract expired following the end of season 12. After doing some self-reflection, Rinna and Bravo came to the mutual decision for her to exit the Beverly Hills Housewives franchise. Rinna joined RHOBH during its fifth season in 2014. Over the years, she became most known for her iconic catchphrases, which included “Own it, baby!” Throughout her time on the show, Rinna became quite infamous for her savage fights with several co-stars, including Kim Richards, Yolanda Hadid, Lisa Vanderpump, Denise Richards, and, most recently, Kathy Hilton. Despite the constant hate Rinna received from fans, she “owned it” and lavished the attention – even if it was negative. At BravoCon 2022, Rinna was unbothered after getting booed by the audience during the RHOBH panel. “I got booed! It was fabulous,” Rinna told PEOPLE at the time. “I’m like a wrestler. The wrestlers get booed. The most famous wrestlers in the world get booed. The Rock [Dwayne Johnson] got booed, for God’s sake. I loved it. I’ve been in this business for 32 years.”“It’s a TV show, for God’s sake,” she shared. “Call me whatever you want, believe whatever you want, I tell the truth. I always have. Go back to that.”
Lisa Rinna is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons because her contract expired at the end of season 12 and she decided, along with Bravo, that it was time for her to exit the franchise.

Yes, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.

As any longtime Bravo fan knows, Mary popped up on the scene during the debut season of RHOSLC in 2019. She starred on RHOSLC for two seasons before ultimately leaving the show. Mary put the nail in her reality TV coffin when she decided not to attend the season two reunion. The longtime pastor didn’t want to answer questions about her church that arose during season two. Mary made waves when she joined the RHOSLC cast, and it became public knowledge that she married her grandmother’s second husband when she took over the family business. Since leaving RHOSLC, Mary’s world has drastically changed as she shut the doors of her church. Now, she has a faith-based podcast to reach her congregation. With Jen Shah leaving RHOSLC, it would be the perfect time for Mary to return to the fold. However, it’s unlikely that Bravo would bring Mary back after she refused to attend the season two reunion. Bravo is notorious for letting Housewives go if they do not fulfill their obligation to attend the reunion. Only time will tell what the future holds for RHOSLC. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
