Real Housewives of Orange County Gretchen Rossi and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga are not afraid to show off their hot bod and who can blame them? The two look unbelievable! Both housewives posed together in their bikinis and looked great!
Bravo just loooooves a fun, quirky and unique mom on their shows! Real Housewives of Orange County‘s current season features new housewife Lydia McLaughlin and one of her story lines is dealing with her mother’s pot smoking ways.
On this week’s episode, we saw Lydia struggle to deal with the fact that her mother likes to hit the pipe. Although Judy has been smoking weed since Lydia was a child, Lydia reveals that it was the source of some tension that has come back to haunt her now that Judy lives across the street and wants to be around Lydia’s sons more often.
Lydia takes to her Bravo blog this week to open up about why this is such an issue for her. She talks about pot not being a huge deal and that it won’t harm her relationship with her mother, but that it will be an issue if she is around the young boys. Lydia writes:
The scene with my mom is a very hard scene to watch and even comment on. I don’t want viewers thinking my mom was, or is, a bad mother. She is the greatest mom and I love her. We are very close and one day I hope to have the kind of relationship I have with her with my own children. She is my best friend and biggest cheerleader. I talk to her everyday and rely on her so much. . .probably too much for a 32 year old! Hey, we are Italian!
Her smoking is the one area of conflict in our relationship. Growing up, it was a source of tension. Once I left the home and became an adult, it really became a moot issue and we stopped fighting about it. However, once she moved across the street, and I had children, I started to get an opinion about it again. I am coming from a place of love. I want my mother around to see my kids grow up. My boys adore her and if she could get even get one extra day with them if she stopped smoking, I will fight for that. She has a cough that worries me. I want her healthy and happy and I think that can happen. I don’t think I am being judgmental or telling her what to do. I have an opinion and I am letting her know what it is. I am not saying she is a horrible mother or a bad person for smoking. I am simply telling her my concerns. I am clearly frustrated but this is a complex issue full of years of drama. At the end of the day, I love my mother.
Personally, the smoking of weed is not really a big issue and nobody’s business except the person holding the bong. I would be more concerned if my mom did hard drugs or even had a drinking problem, but I do see where Lydia is coming from! I would not want my mom smoking pot if she was going to be around my kids as well.
Do you think Lydia is overreacting, or is she right in being cautious about the possibility of her mom being stoned around her boys?
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville had to reach out to her ex-husband on twitter when she couldn’t get a hold of her children! Brandi tweeted yesterday, “I’ve been trying to get a hold of my kids 4 over an hour no response to my calls, emails or messages. Maybe twitter will work @EddieCibrian.”
Eddie doesn’t really use his twitter so it was no surprise he didn’t respond but LeAnn did when a viewer tweeted her saying, “not a cool thing to do. Makes a mother tend to freak out.”
LeAnn responded, “Funny, she just got off the phone w/them. Sorry, we were doing baths, homework & dinner. All good!”
That’s when another viewer wrote, “good thing for social media…thats a quick response by LR.”
LeAnn responded yet again, “the phone rang, I picked it up. Never saw this till after. All you gotta do is call.”
Brandi mentioned she did call and got no response. LeAnn is constantly on her phone every second of the day so I find it odd that they weren’t picking up the house phone. The house phone is the only number Brandi has access too but I definitely think it’s not cool to get a mother worried for an hour! Thoughts on Brandi reaching out via twitter?
Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is days away from premiering and there is said to be a lot of drama. Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice start off the season as enemies but slowly become civil resulting Jacqueline Laurita to apologize to Teresa!
Sources close to the cast tell AllAboutTRH the EXCLUSIVE details on what goes on in season 5!
SPOILERS: “Jacqueline realizes that she regrets bashing Teresa Giudice’s hubby Joe and regrets saying that Joe cheated on Teresa on last season and at the reunion so she decides to go to Teresa’s house and apologize to the both of them. Teresa forgives Jacqueline and they finally move forward with their friendship. Bravo has captured it all meaning it’ll be seen in the middle of season 5.”
Glad Jacqueline apologized! I do think she went too far especially at the reunion! So are Jac and Teresa BFF’s again? My source adds, “They’re not best friends and it’ll never be the same. They both haven’t spoken since filming has ended but they are both happy that they are civil and talk when they see each other and have too film with another.”
It’s clear that the Manzo’s would probably never be friends with the Giudice’s, Gorga’s, and Wakile’s if it weren’t for the show. I think it’s great that they are finally in a good place and hope it remains that way! Thoughts on Jacqueline apologizing?
Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow had an amazing opportunity and shared it with us this past week when she guest starred in a popular show called, Hot in Cleveland. Heather talks about the experience and calls out Gretchen Rossi for being unapologetic regarding showing up late to set and supporting her. See what Heather says below
This past Sunday, Watch What Happens Live aired a special tell-all for RHONJ and Andy showed us a bit of a sneak peek on what will be on season 5! Kathy Wakile updated Andy on whether her sister Rosie will be back and shared a sneak peek of what to expect with!
Every summer, Bravo features a commercial with it’s most popular housewives as well as stars from other popular shows. Which housewives made it to the Summer By Bravo commercial this year? Check out the commercial and see for yourself below!
This week on Real Housewives of Orange County, we got a little treat in the form of a RHOC Recap former Housewife and got to see Heather go back to work! Heather was offered a role on an episode of Hot In Cleveland, and she could not be more thrilled about it. The other women support her as they tread along this season with each other, minus one lady who is still ostracized. Lydia’s mother comes back for more! The quirky lady seems to have picked up pot-smoking again. How much more of this will get shoved down our throats? We get it. Lydia doesn’t like her mom’s pot smoking. Judy is quite the character and I’m sure there is more to her than her love for weed! Tamra goes ring shopping with Lauri Waring, who has not been on the show in a few seasons. Tamra feels that she needs to grab the reigns for this wedding to Eddie if it’s going to happen, because he seems to not have a care in the world! Lauri clearly has animosity towards Vicki, and tries to influence Tamra into thinking Vicki may have destroyed her marriage with Simon. Drama is sure to follow! Heather attends the round table reading for her Hot In Cleveland script. Everything goes well for her and the cast seems to like her! Betty White even makes her Real Housewives debut! Back at home the kids are with the nanny Eva. Terry gets home and helps them with their homework and tends to them. He reflects on how his parenting style is completely different from prim and proper Heather’s. Meanwhile Alexis got the acting bug after appearing on General Hospital as a news anchor. Remember her other failed job?! She meets with acting coaches and she has totally the wrong idea of what acting is. She does the typical Housewife spiel about how the kids are in school so now she needs something to do and I guess Alexis can’t open a boutique so she is an actress now. Gretchen and Slade are in San Diego for Gretchen’s birthday when at the valet check out, a Rolls Royce with a pink bow shows up – a present for Gretchen! Gretchen asks if they became rich all of a sudden, but it’s a leased Rolls because it was only a couple hundred more than her current Mercedes, according to Slade. So let me get this straight, Slade couldn’t pay child support last year and now after a few months of hosting some radio gig he can afford Rolls Royce leases? While in the car, Gretchen goes off about how this better not affect their finances! Honestly, though, it was probably just a fake scene to plug Gretchen’s partnership to design a Rolls Royce. More about that here. Lydia and Doug (who are just so pretty together) pick up Tamra and Eddie in a limo and head to LA for Heather’s taping. They join Terry and Vicki on set. Gretchen and Slade arrive late and clearly their priority is not to support Heather. They keep texting and leaving to use the phone which clearly irks Tamra! Is this the beginning of their rift? Alexis, once again, does not join the rest of the group and goes to acting class instead. Alexis calls herself a “natural” and that she has a passion for acting. Excuse me?! An interest in acting does not a passion make. Heather is very happy with her first acting gig since going on a “mommy break”. She enjoys being more of a “complete” person now that she has dabbled back into working mode. Everyone heads to a celebratory dinner after where Gretchen tells everyone she now owns a Rolls Royce. Except it’s leased? Tamra is having a hard time taking this all in! Lydia asks how Tamra and Vicki are doing since Malibu. Tamra apologizes to Vicki for calling her a bitch in Malibu and the two fight like siblings. These two are truly bonded forever and should just accept that they love each other and are sisters because they fight like it, and love each other like it. The girls get ove it over wine, but Tamra still wishes she had pre-Brooks Vicki! Gretchen shows little hints of jealousy now that Vicki and Tamra are starting to patch up their torn friendship too. Interesting…I want to see where this heads in future episodes! Terry makes the most adorable toast in honor of his wife and I am glad their bickering has ceased for a minute. Overall everyone has a great episode with no drama! Next week, Gretchen does the fertility thing for the cameras and Brooks comes back to rehash Vicki’s storyline. Tamra also opens up about her dark past, which may shed light into why she is the way she is today. Let’s discuss! Heather, a former Housewife, is returning to Real Housewives of Orange County in this episode.
Tamra goes ring shopping with Lauri Waring and feels the need to take charge of her wedding to Eddie. Lauri tries to influence Tamra into thinking Vicki may have destroyed her marriage with Simon.

It’s almost as if one of the requirements for joining a Real Housewives franchise is being a botox enthusiast and containing at least one body part made out of silicone. Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Jacqueline Laurita has never been shy about her Botox injections or boob job, but Jac has recently gone back for more! On a Watch What Happens Live “Jersey Housewives Tell All” special which aired last night, Jacqueline admits to having gone under the knife in between RHONJ seasons, but suggests that you can only tell when she’s naked. So what did Jacqueline have done? She admits to Andy that she had a tummy tuck (no blubber, blubber, and blubber there!) and a neck lift. She confirms on Twitter: That’s right… I said Tummy tuck and Neck lift! Thank you @drbrentmd !!!XOXO! — Jacqueline Laurita (@JacLaurita) May 20, 2013Sidenote: Dr. Brent Moelleken is Dayna Devon’s husband – who was in the running for RHOBH’s next season! It’s a small, small world. Andy, just as confused as we were, asked Jacqueline what exactly a neck lift accomplishes and apparently it just picks up the neck area which may or may not start to sag during one’s middle age. Below is a photo of Jacqueline from 2010, where she is visibly a bit larger in the navel region, but I still remain confused on the neck lift necessity!

A neck lift helps to lift and tighten the neck area, which may sag during middle age.
One Real Housewife had a major fashion malfunction last week when her pants ripped while she was out in public! Which housewife was it? Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi! Kandi shared the following photo above and tweeted, “Ok I’m officially going on a mission to get fit after my bday… Pulling up my jeans & they tore! –“
Talk about embarrassing! At least Kandi could laugh at herself and shares it on twitter. Maybe Kandi should consider changing her intro for The Real Housewives of Atlanta after that rip! Kidding! I do again, love that Kandi could laugh at herself. That’s always a great quality!
